659 MBBS Seats Available in Delhi's LHMC, MAMC, UCMS- Here's Full NEET 2025 Admissions Guide
New Delhi- The University of Delhi's Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS) is offering a total of 659 MBBS seats for the academic year 2025-26 across its top medical colleges-Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC), Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), and University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS).
Of these, LHMC has 240 seats, MAMC has 250 seats, and UCMS has 169 seats available for the MBBS program. Additionally, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS) is offering 50 seats for the BDS course. Aspiring candidates need to register for admission based on their NEET UG 2025 scores, and the process will follow the guidelines for the 85% Delhi Quota and 15% All India Quota. The online application process will be conducted by the MCC, with detailed instructions available in the Information Bulletin.
FMS has released an Information Bulletin detailing the Eligibility Conditions, Counselling Procedure, Number of Seats, Procedure for admission, Procedure for selection and other important details for the candidates willing to take admission into the MBBS and BDS courses at FMS.
As per the Information Bulletin, the applicants are required to register themselves online on the official website of MCC or Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Govt. of India) to participate in Counselling of UG (MBBS/BDS) courses for the Academic Year 2025- 2026 for both 85% Delhi Quota and 15% All India Quota.
Meanwhile, the online Registration Fee for MBBS/BDS Courses for the SC, ST and PwBD categories is Rs 1000/- and for the General, OBC and EWS categories is Rs 1500/-.
STEPS FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR ADMISSION TO THE UG COURSES
STEP 1- As a first-time user, the applicant shall create the login details.
STEP 2- In the “Confirm your Information” webpage, the applicant shall provide the NEET-UG-2025 Roll No. and Date of Birth. Clicking on the “View” button will display further details of the applicant.
STEP 3- If the details are correct, an applicant can click “Confirm” and proceed further.
STEP 4- On the “New Registration” page, the applicant has to enter a valid Mobile number. and Email ID which would be used for any future communication with the University for admission purposes.
STEP 5- The Applicant shall then create a password (of a maximum of six characters) for online registration purposes. This password does not need to be the same as the applicant’s email account password, which is used to access their email account.
STEP 6- Applicant shall provide a valid mobile phone number (10-digit number without any prefix).
STEP 7- Please verify that all the details given in the form are correct. This information will be used during the entire admission process. No change/modification is allowed. Please be careful filling in the required information in all aspects.
STEP 8- Applicant shall now log on using the “registered email ID” and create a “password” to fill out the online registration form.
STEP 9- Applicant shall click the “Save™ and proceed to check the details filled in the form.
STEP 10- The same login information is used every time to log in to the applicant’s account.

1 Passport size photograph of the applicant (120x130) (only jpg & size upto 150KB).
2 Scanned signature of the applicant (200x50) (only jpg & size upto 100KB).
3 Self —attested copy of NEET-UG-2025 Admit Card(only PDF & Size upto 200KB).
4 Self -attested copy of NEET-UG-2025 Score Card(only PDF & Size upto 200KB).
5 Self-attested copy of Aadhar Card (only PDF & Size upto 200KB).
6 Self-attested copy of Matriculation Certificate for verification of date of birth (only PDF & Size upto 200KB).
7 Self-attested copy of 11thand 10+2 Marksheet (only PDF & size upto 200KB).
8 Self-attested copy of 10+2 Certificate (only PDF & size upto 200KB).
9 A Certificate from the Principal of the School concerned on the prescribed proforma available at the faculty website.
i the school is situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
ii the school is recognised by the CBSE/Council for the Indian School Certificate/ Jamia Milia Islamia/Patrachar Vidyalya/National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
iii the school is conducting regular classes (except NIOS/Patracharya Vidyalaya).
iv the applicant student has attended regular classes in the school for classes (standard) 11th & 12th (except NIOS/Patrachar Vidyalaya) (only PDF & Size200KB).
10 The Applicants who have passed the qualifying examination from Patrachar Vidyalaya or National Institute of Open Schooling will be eligible for admission in MBBS/BDS courses under 85% Delhi Quota provided their study center and the examination Center were within the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCTD) and they must submit a certificate from the controlling authority of Patrachar Vidyalaya/NIOS in this regard(only PDF & Size200KB).
11 Self-attested copy of Character Certificate in Performa as prescribed by CBSE, issued by the Principal of the school last attended or any Gazetted Officer (only PDF & size upto 200KB).
12 Self-attested copy of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe certificate.
13 Self-attested copy of Person with Disability (PwBD) certificate, if applicable (only PDF & size upto 200KB).
14 Entitlement Certificate for C.W. category, if applicable (only PDF & size upto 200KB).
15 Self-attested copy of OBC Certificate, if applicable (only PDF & size upto 200KB).
16 Self-attested copy of the Non-Creamy layer certificate shall be for the financial year 2025- 2026, issued on or after 1.04.2025 and OBC caste certificate as per the Central list for OBCs (only PDF & size upto 200KB).
17 Self-attested copy of the EWS certificate(only PDF & size upto 200KB).
18 Self-attested copy of Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card, if applicable (only PDF & size upto 200KB).
19 Allotment Letter issued by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
QUALIFYING EXAMINATION
1 The educational qualification for admission is as per NEET conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Further, to become eligible for 85% Delhi Quota, the applicant must have passed 11th and 12th standard examinations under the 10+2 system conducted by CBSE/Indian School Certificate Examination/Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi or any other equivalent examination from a recognised school situated within the NCT of Delhi only. (see Appendix I)
2 The Applicants who have passed the qualifying examination from Patrachar Vidyalaya or National Institute of Open Schooling will be eligible for admission in MBBS/BDS courses under 85% Delhi Quota, provided their study center and the examination Center were within the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCTD) and they must upload a certificate from the controlling authority of Patrachar Vidyalaya/NIOS in this regard.
3 The applicants who do not qualify for the NEET-UG 2025 Examination conducted by NTA are not eligible.
4 Further, guidelines/eligibility conditions and other requirements will be decided by the Medical Sciences Course Admission Committee (MCAC) from time to time.
NUMBER OF SEATS
1 The University of Delhi conducts the MBBS Course in three Medical Colleges, i.e. Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC), Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) and BDS Course at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS).
2 Only female applicants are eligible for admission in LHMC.
As per the prospectus, a total of 659 seats are vacant for the MBBS course. Of these, a total of 240 seats are vacant in LHMC, 250 in MAMC, and 169 in UCMS. Meanwhile, a total of 50 seats are vacant in MAIDS for the BDS course.
