73 more PG medical seats in MCC NEET PG counselling round 3, check details
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the addition of postgraduate medical seats to the Round 3 seat matrix of the NEET PG Counselling for the academic year 2025.
According to an official notice issued by the MCC, the Committee has received information on 22 January 2026 from 2 Institutes to add 4 seats in the seat matrix of Round-3 of PG Counselling 2025.
Therefore, the seats have been added in the Seat Matrix of Round-3 of PG Counselling 2025. Hence, candidates can now exercise Choice Filling for the additional seats. Below is the detailed seat matrix-

Along with this, MCC has also released a detailed list of withdrawn seats made available for choice filling in Round 3 of NEET PG Counselling 2025. The list includes seats vacated across multiple states, institutions, quotas, and specialities, providing fresh opportunities for eligible candidates participating in Round 3.
According to the list, a total of 69 postgraduate medical seats withdrawn from earlier rounds have been added back to the Round 3 choice filling pool. These seats span All India Quota, Deemed University seats, DNB seats, NRI quota, minority quota, and self-financed merit seats across government, deemed, and private institutions.
The withdrawal seats are distributed across several states, including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chandigarh, Delhi (NCT), Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
Popular clinical branches such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Radio-Diagnosis, Anaesthesiology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Respiratory Medicine, Ophthalmology, and ENT are included. In addition, several non-clinical and para-clinical disciplines like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Community Medicine, and Family Medicine have also been listed.
