AIIMS Bhopal Welcomes PG Medical Students with Orientation Program
Bhopal: An orientation program was arranged on Friday for all the Post graduate students who were just accepted into MD/MS and DM/MCh programs at AIIMS Bhopal.
AIIMS Bhopal President Dr Sunil Malik and Executive Director Prof. Dr Ajai Singh inaugurated the program. A guest lecture was organised on consumer Protection Act of Doctors which was delivered by Dr Monika Malik, a Madhya Pradesh state Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission member to prepare these student for the responsibility of their medical careers.

As per a report in Daily Pioneer, the PG students were warmly welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, who emphasized the value of enrolling in specialist and super-specialty programs at AIIMS Bhopal. He encouraged the students to not settle for less but to set ambitious targets, put in a lot of effort, and come up with creative answers to difficult problems in the medical industry.
Dr. Sunil Malik highlighted the value of moral behavior, clear communication, and compassion in the medical industry. He addressed to the students their responsibility towards the community, particularly to patients who are underprivileged and less fortunate financially. The lecture provided by Dr Monika Malik was primarily focused on ethical practice, communication, and keeping records while also discussing the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and its importance to medical professionals. The lecture was then followed by a lively Question and Answer session.

Under the guidance of its chairman, Professor (Dr.) Rehan Ul Haq, the Centre of Medical Education Technology (CMET) AIIMS Bhopal organized an orientation program aimed at helping PG students with different aspects of their training, including medical and medicolegal documentation, professional ethics, and research. Participants gave the program outstanding reviews.
