AIIMS cancels candidature of 44 DM, MCh asprirants for January 2026 session, details

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released a notification declaring 44 candidates provisionally ineligible for admission to DM and MCh courses for the January 2026 session.

As per the notification issued by the Examination Section, AIIMS, the candidates were found ineligible due to failure to upload postgraduate or tenure completion certificates or submission of invalid certificates during the application process.

The candidature of all listed candidates stands cancelled with immediate effect. The institute has also stated that no further correspondence will be entertained in this matter, making the decision final.

According to the list, a total of 44 candidates are provisionally not eligible for admission to DM and MCh courses for the January 2026 session. The list includes important details such as Candidate Name, Candidate ID and Status. The list has been released on the official website of AIIMS New Delhi. Therefore, the candidates can view and download the same from there.

The aspirants must carefully verify eligibility requirements and ensure the timely upload of valid documents, especially postgraduate degree and tenure completion certificates, while applying for super speciality courses.

Earlier, AIIMS New Delhi had also announced the List of candidates called for Stage II (Departmental Assessment) in the respective applied courses for AIIMS and PGIMER Chandigarh seat under the Institute of National Importance Super Speciality (INISS) Online CBT Test for DM/MCh Courses for January 2026 Session.

The notice issued on this, stated: “The shortlisted candidates list has been prepared on the basis of details provided by the candidates at the time of online registration and as per rules mentioned in the prospectus for shortlisting of the candidates for Departmental Assessment”.
