AIIMS Delhi Announces Final Results of PhD Entrance Exam for January 2024 Session, Details
New Delhi- Through a recent notice, the examination section of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has declared the final result of PhD entrance examination for the January 2024 session.
As per the notice, “On the basis of CBT Examination (Stage-I & II) held on Friday, the 9th February 2024 and result declared on 19th February 2024 followed by Departmental Clinical/Practical/Lab based Assessment (Stage-III) held on 1st March 2024, the candidates are provisionally qualified and are eligible for counselling in different Departments of AIIMS for admission to PhD Programme at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for January 2024 session”.
The final result has been declared as per the merit list, “All candidates in the Merit list will be considered for seats in order of merit that are available in the respective department only irrespective of the project they had applied in, subject to fulfilment of eligibility and other requirements as per project”, the notice stated.
The notice further stated “Further the allocations of seats shall be done by physical counselling at AIIMS, New Delhi. Candidates will exercise their choice of project in the respective Department when called during the physical counselling as per their merit in their respective category. The choice thus made will be final and no claim will be entertained in this regard thereafter”.
It is also informed that the last date for joining the program for the January 2024 session is March 30, 2024.
KINDLY NOTE
1 The counselling for allocation of seats for admission to various PhD programs, the January 2024 session will be on 19.03.2024 (Tuesday) at 09:00 A.M.in the Conference / LT-1/2/3, Teaching Floor, AIIMS, New Delhi- 110029.
2 On the day of Counseling, please bring your admit card and all original educational certificates/NOC (if required)/Experience Certificate(if any)/Certificate of National Entrance Test-Score Card along with Award Letter (for non-medical candidates) subject to fulfilling the required condition of point no. C General Eligibility-(B-a.ii) as mentioned in the Ph.D. Prospectus for January 2024 session /any other certificate as mentioned in the prospectus.
3 Please carry one set of photocopies of all documents (self-attested) and 2 passport-size photographs to be submitted at the time of verification of original documents.
4 No candidate will be allowed to attend the counselling without the original certificates/documents. All candidates must be physically present i.e. in person for counselling on the day as given above. No request for an authorised representative on behalf of the candidate will be entertained.
5 Your candidate is provisional. He/she will be allowed for counselling subject to the production of valid original certificates/documents as required for PhD selection.
6 If a candidate fails to come for counselling in person, she/he will be marked absent and his/her candidature will stand cancelled.
7 In case, if the information/documents furnished by the candidate are found to be incorrect in the later stage, his/her candidature will be terminated.
8 Candidate must note that no separate intimation will be sent for the counselling.
IMPORTANT POINTS
1 All seats in a single Department will be clubbed and candidates qualifying for them will be offered the project of their choice within that department based on their merit.
2 Candidates will be counselled for seat allotment based on their order of merit within the department. Candidates with their own fellowships (OF) will be allowed to choose from both OF and FA seats, while candidates without their own fellowships can choose only FA seats where they meet the eligibility criteria for the fellowship in the project.
