AIIMS Releases eligibility status of candidates for Stage -1 PhD Admission 2022, Check out lists
Rishikesh: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Rishikesh) has published the eligible and provisionally eligible candidates' list for stage -1 PhD admission 2022. The non-eligible list has also been released.
The list consists of the names of the candidates and application status. The eligible list has 3 candidates, and the provisional eligible list has 9 candidates. 9 candidates are non-eligible for PhD admission in 2022. The candidates whose names are there in the provisional eligible list can apply only to 4 departments. The subjects include Biochemistry, Microbiology, General Medicine, and Pathology.
Candidates declared "Not eligible" can make their representation by submitting required documents on/before 12th July 2022 to the exam section by email at exam@aiimsrishikesh.edu.in. AIIMS has notified that no institutional fellowship will be provided to candidates.
Candidates will be eligible only for seats in the department they have applied for and will be allocated seats in order of their merit in the exam. Successful candidates will be screened for the eligibility criteria of their respective Projects before admission. And those who are allotted a seat but do not join or resign after joining will not be eligible for any additional rounds of seat allocation.
Admission to PhD Courses will be subject to the availability of research funds/fellowship/grants from recognized funding agencies. After the declaration of results, selection letters will be issued by the Academic Section only to those candidates who have submitted Undertaking/Proof of their funding sources through the concerned Head of the Departments. The PhD program's selection will also be subject to medical fitness. The candidates selected for admission shall have to pay the fee/dues within the prescribed period, failing to cancel their admission.
The candidates will work under the supervision of a recognized PhD guide of AIIMS Rishikesh. They have an option to choose the guide. IRRB will allocate the guide; from the department where the candidate has applied for a PhD within the department, preference will be given to a faculty with extramural project funding.
