AIIMS Releases Round 2 Result For INI CET January 2024 Session
Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the result of round 2 of seat allocation (institute subject/specialty) for MD/MS/MCh(6 years)/DM(6 years)/MDS, January 2024 Session (INI-CET).
The result includes Roll No., Over All Rank, Category, PWBD, Allotted Subject/Specialty, Allotted Institute, and Category/Roster Point of Allocated Seat. To view the result, click on the link below –

This list includes all the candidates who were eligible for the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation.
This list does not include -
1. All those candidates who did not participate in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation.
2. All those candidates who were Allocated Seats (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation but did not choose any Option online (No Action Taken) by 12th December 2023, 5.00 pm.
3. All those candidates who were Allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 1stRound of Seat Allocation and chose option 1 or 2 but did not complete the necessary formalities mentioned in the result of the 1st Round of Seat Allocation by 12th December 2023, 5.00 pm.
For the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation, the order of seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) Allocation was based on the merit order used for the 1st Round (including institutional preference seat (AIIMS and Subject/Specialty) and institute (INST) stands for an applicant who has studied and obtained his/her MBBS Degree from JIPMER. The word Institute is not applicable to any other Medical Institution for the purpose of benefit against statutory reservations.
In case a candidate who had chosen Option 2 after the 1st Round of Seat Allocation gets a better choice of seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty), the released seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) has been offered to the next (remaining) eligible candidates as per merit order used for the 1st Round of Seat Allocation).
The Seat Allocation for the 2nd Round has been done on the vacant seats after 1st round and Seats (Institute and Subject/Specialty) were left vacant due to non-action by the candidate in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation.
Procedure to be followed by candidates who have been allocated a seat (institute and subject/speciality) in the 2nd round of seat allocation –
All the candidates who have been allocated a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation are required to visit the website and actively exercise the following options by Tuesday, the 26th December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m. and report to the concerned allocated Institute by Tuesday, the 26th December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m. (within office hours) with the original documents/Demand Draft as described below.
Option A. ACCEPT allotted Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty)
Failure to accept the allocated seat will lead to cancellation of the Allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty). Kindly read the details carefully.
Instruction for Option A is as follows –
Option A: If the Option of ACCEPT allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) is selected, then The candidate will have to go to the Allocated Institute before 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, the 26th December 2023 with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at AIIMS website) and report to the allocated Institute for depositing original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all the certificate OR self-attested photocopies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only) in the name of the “AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT” payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi. The DD will be refunded/returned when all original certificates have been deposited within five days.
If the Original Documents at the time of joining have not been submitted, then the Original Documents should be submitted within 5 days of taking admission; otherwise, admission will be treated as cancelled and the deposited DD of Rs. 3 Lakh will be forfeited.
The candidate whose Allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round is at the same Institute where he/she has deposited Documents after the 1st Round of Seat Allocation must also follow the above-mentioned procedure.
The candidates whose allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round is at the different Institute where they deposited Documents after the 1st Round of Seat Allocation such candidates must go for the Institute allocated in the 2nd Round. Their documents will be transferred internally.
Please note that a candidate who ACCEPT the allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) (Option A) in the 2nd Round and but DO NOT report to the Allotted Institute by Tuesday, the 26th December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m. to complete the necessary formalities, then the following shall apply.
In case a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) has not been allocated in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation, but the Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) allocated in the 2nd Round shall be vacated without any further communication. Such candidates shall not be eligible for subsequent rounds (If any) except open/spot round of seat allocation.
In case a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) has been allocated in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation and the candidate has accepted the Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) and wishes to participate in the 2ndRound (Option 2), and has already submitted a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only), the deposited DD of Rs. 3 Lakh shall be forfeited and Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) allocated shall be vacated. Such candidates shall not be eligible for subsequent rounds (If any) except open/spot round of seat allocation.
In case a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) has been allocated in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation and the candidate has accepted the Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) and wishes to participate in the 2nd Round (Option 2), and have already submitted original documents, then same can be collected after payment of Rs 3 lakhs only through DD of Rs. 3 Lakh only in the name of the “AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT” payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi from the Institute where the certificates were deposited after realization of security deposit. The Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) shall be vacated. Such candidates shall not be eligible for subsequent rounds (If any) except open/spot round of seat allocation.
It is mandatory for all candidates who have been allocated a seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round to log in and exercise the options as mentioned above by Tuesday, the 26th December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m.
Group I. Candidates who had chosen option 2 in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation. There are two outcomes for them –
Group I A. Candidates who have been allotted the same seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round as they had been allotted in the 1st Round.
Group I B. Candidates who have been allotted a higher/better choice seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round as compared to the 1st Round.
Group II. Candidates who were not allocated seats (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 1st Round but now have been allotted seats (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation.
Instructions for candidates belonging to Group I(A) (Candidates who have chosen option 2 in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation and who have been allocated the same seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round as they have been allocated in 1st Round).
Option A - ACCEPT allotted Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty). The candidate will have to go to the allotted Institute with the Offer Letter (downloaded from MyPage after login to the AIIMS website) and report in person to the allotted Institute by Tuesday, the 26th of December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m. In case the candidate had submitted self-attested photocopies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only) in the name of the “AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT” payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi after the 1st Round of Seat Allocation, then the candidate is required to deposit the original certificates at the time of reporting. The demand draft will be refunded, if the original certificates are deposited by Tuesday, the 26th of December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m.
Instructions for candidates belonging to Group I(B) (Candidates who have been allotted a higher/better choice seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round as compared to 1st Round in the same or different Institute)
Option A - ACCEPT allotted seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty). The candidate will have to go to the allotted Institute with the Offer Letter (downloaded from MyPage after login to the AIIMS website) and will report in person to the allotted Institute by Tuesday, the 26th December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m. The certificates will be transferred internally within the respective Institute. In case the candidate had submitted self-attested photocopies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only) in the name of the “AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT” payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi after the 1st Round of Seat Allocation, then the candidate is required to deposit all the original certificates at the time of reporting. The demand draft will be refunded, if the original certificates are deposited by Tuesday, the 26th December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m.
Instructions for candidates belonging to Group II (Candidates who were not Allotted Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 1st Round but now have been Allotted Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation)
Option A - ACCEPT Allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty). The candidate must report to the allocated Institute in 2nd Round within the dates mentioned in the Important Dates Link
The candidate will have to go to the allocated Institute by Tuesday, the 26th December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m. with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at AIIMS website) and report in person to the allotted Institute for depositing original certificates OR submit self-attested photocopies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only) in the name of the “AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT” payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi. The DD will be refunded/returned when all original certificates have been deposited within five days.
If original certificates are not deposited at the time of reporting, these will have to be submitted in person within 5 days of reporting, otherwise allocated seat shall be canceled (Institute and Subject/Specialty) and deposited money will be forfeited.
In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report by Tuesday, the 26th December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m., the Seat Allocated will be canceled. Such candidates shall not be eligible for subsequent rounds (If any) except open/spot round of seat allocation.
Instructions for candidates belonging to Group III (Candidates who were not Allotted Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 1st Round and 2nd Round Both)
All the candidates who had participated in the 2nd round and were not allocated any seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) will automatically be eligible for subsequent rounds (If any) and any open/spot round of seat allocation is subject to rules & procedures of that round.
Any candidate who has been allocated a seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation and does NOT respond in any of the above manners, his/her offer of seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) shall be cancelled. Such candidates shall not be eligible for subsequent rounds (If any) except open/spot round of seat allocation.
Those Candidate who have been allocated a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation but DO NOT actively choose Option: A, i.e., accept the offer by Tuesday, the 26th December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m. and complete the necessary formalities by Tuesday, the 26th December 2023 up to 5:00 p.m. such candidates shall be deemed to have declined/refused the offer. The Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) shall be declared as vacant for Further/Spot Rounds of Seat Allocation. This applied to all groups of candidates, i.e., upgrading/retaining the last allocation/new allocation.
Policy regarding the depositing of documents/certificates/Rs 3.00 Lakhs –
The claim to allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) by candidates is subject to verification of the documents for eligibility as applicable as well as identity verification of the candidature. If a candidate fails to submit the required certificates (original or photocopies with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only) in the name of the “AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT” payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi.) his/her candidature will be cancelled, the Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) will be vacated.
List of Documents/Certificates that are required to be deposited in Original along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates OR self-attested photocopies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only) in the name of the “AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT”.
1. Offer Letter (From MyPage after logging in)
2. Seat allocation Slip (take a print after online acceptance of the allocated Seat (Institute- subject/speciality)
3. Final Registration Slip (From MyPage after logging in)
4. Admit Card issued by AIIMS (From MyPage after logging in)
5. Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd and 3rd Professional Examinations.
6. MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate.
7. Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate will be completing the 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 31st January 2024 for all INIs.
8. Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Council.
9. High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth. (Matriculation)
The candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable -
1. SC/ST: Original Certificates issued by the competent authority.
2. OBC/EWS: Original Certificates issued by the competent authority and that have been issued within the dates mentioned below, should be in English or Hindi in language. The community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. OBC(NCL)/EWS certificate should be same as provided to Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi within in due dates.
3. Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board as mentioned in the prospectus.
4. As all Eligible PWBD candidates have been called for seat allocation in 2nd Round, the seats at AIIMS under PWBD remaining vacant will be filled from candidates in respective constitutional categories as per merit and choices made. However, any seat vacated by any PWBD candidates will be made available in the next/open round of allocation to participating PWBD candidates. Any seat remaining vacant will be filled from candidates of respective categories as merit and choices made.
5. The allocated seat of candidates, who fail to produce a valid certificate of PWBD category, will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further rounds under their respective constitutional categories subject to conditions applicable to respective merit lists.
6. Any other certificate in respect of candidature as per prospectus INI-CET Part-B of the respective institute as applicable.
OBC Certificate should be issued by the competent authority for central Govt. jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Certificates that are applicable only to respective State Governments shall not be acceptable. OBC certificate must be in the Central Govt. Format as prescribed in the prospectus. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer.
Valid dates of issuance of certificates –
1. Eligibility criteria and date of validity of certificates remain the same as published earlier and the closing date of application form shall be treated as 13.10.2023.
2. Date(s) of valid OBC(NCL) certificate: The OBC(-NCL) certificates should have been issued between 06.11.2022 to 05.11.2023 (date of Exam) both dates inclusive.
3. Date(s) of valid EWS certificate: The EWS certificate must be valid for the financial year 2023-2024 and issued between 01.04.2023 to 05.11.2023 (on or before the date of Exam), both dates inclusive based on the income of the year 2022-2023.
The allocated PG Course/Subject of candidates who fail to produce valid certificates of respective constitutional categories [OBC (NCL), SC/ST/EWS] will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further rounds under UR category subject to conditions applicable to UR merit list.
Candidates must note that a certificate from any other person/authority will not be accepted and no further correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The name, designation, and the seal of the officer should be legible on the certificate.
