Allotted MBBS, BDS Mop Up Candidates Need To Join institutes by 13 December: Maha CET Cell
Maharashtra: The candidates allotted seats in the mop-up round of MBBS and BDS courses needs to join the allotted college by 13.12.2022, 5:30 pm. Maha CET Cell has released the selection list on its official website.
The candidates must be physically present for joining along with all original documents & requisite fees by DD/Cheque. Admitting Institute will verify the original documents and ascertain the eligibility of the candidates as per the NEET(UG)-2022 brochure.
The allotment is conducted on the seat(s) approved/permitted by MCI/NMC/DCI and affiliated to MUHS, Nashik only.
If candidates are selected during the mop-up round, they will have to join the college/ seat allotted. Candidates selected during the mop-up round will not be eligible for the State Counseling Process's subsequent round(s). There will be no upgradation after mop up round. Candidate should submit all the original documents and pay requisite fees by DD/Cheque in the selected college within the stipulated time; failing which, this selection stands canceled.
The schedule for subsequent rounds will be published in due course. The candidate should follow the website of State CET Cell website, www.mahacet.org.
Disqualification –
1. Not Eligible for State Counseling as per the Hon'ble Supreme Court order in WP(C) 267/2017 and WP(C)820/2021, as Candidate is joined through AI/Deemed Quota in the First/Second Round of AIQ Counseling.
2. Allotted by DGHS in MOPUP Round: Not Eligible for State Counseling as Candidate is allotted through AI/Deemed Quota in MOP-UP Round of AIQ Counseling.
Candidates were asked to fill in new preferences for the mop-up round. All previous preferences were considered null & void. The new preferences will be used for all subsequent Online Stray Vacancy Round(s).
Available seats for the mop-up round were -
1. Seats not allotted during round 2.
2. Seats vacant due to nonjoining / cancellation by the candidate(s) allotted in round 2.
The government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015.
Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that Maha CET Cell announced the schedule for CAP round 2 NEET UG AYUSH courses. The registration process began on 5.12.2022. The counseling process will continue till 24.12.2022, the last date for candidates to join.
