AYUSH Admissions 2024: AACCC releases eligibility criteria, counselling process, scheme, FAQs for candidates

New Delhi:  Through a recent notice, the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC), New Delhi released Information Bulletin detailing the eligibility criteria, counselling process and scheme, reservation policy and FAQs for candidates seeking admissions to BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses.

All the concerned candidates seeking BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS Admissions are advised to take note of the following details: -

Eligible criteria for Admission:

(a) The candidate shall have passed the intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination from any examination board with the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and have obtained minimum of fifty per cent. marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the case of General category and forty per cent. marks in the case of the SC, ST and OBC. For persons with disability, candidate specified under the RPwD Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be forty-five per cent. in the case of General category and forty per cent. in the case of the SC, ST and OBC.

(b) To consider for admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Ayurveda) degree programme for an academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain a minimum fifty percentile in the NEET for Under Graduate programme held for the said academic year. For candidates belonging to the SC, ST and OBC, the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile. For candidates with benchmark disabilities specified under the RPwD Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum marks shall be at 45th percentile in the case of General category and 40th percentile in the case of the SC, the ST and OBC.

Reservation Policy:

Reservation Policy of the Central Government for counselling & admission to All India Quota seats of ASU &H streams under Govt./Govt. Aided/National Institutes/Central Universities and of B. Pharm (Ay) ITRA, Jamnagar is as follows:

  • S.C.- 15%
  • S.T.- 7.5%

The benefit of reservation will be given only to those castes and tribes that are mentioned in the respective central list of corresponding states published by the Government of India. 

  • OBC-NCL- 27% (Non-Creamy Layer as per the current updated central list of OBCs http://www.ncbc.nic.in ; OBCs present in the state list but not covered in the Central list of OBCs are NOT eligible to claim the reservation under All India Quota. The criteria for the Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) will be as per the notification of the Government of India) Candidates belonging to the Creamy Layer of OBC are NOT entitled to reservation. Such candidates are treated as belonging to the general (GEN), i.e. unreserved category, and they will be eligible only for the OPEN seats – the seats for which all candidates are eligible.
  • GEN-EWS- 10% (The benefit of reservation will be given only to those General category candidates who satisfy the conditions prescribed in the prevailing norms and/or notifications issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment/Govt. of India.)
  • PwBD- 5% (as per relevant Regulations under NCISM/NCH Act 2020) Candidates with at least 40% impairment, irrespective of the type of disability, i.e., locomotor, visual or SEVERE dyslexic, shall be eligible for the benefits of the PwBD category. Further, Leprosy-cured candidates who are otherwise fit to pursue the courses also included in this category. Candidates who want to avail of 5% PwBD reservation in AIQ-UG seats of Govt./Govt. Aided/Central/National ASU & H institutions and B. Pharm (Ay), ITRA Jamnagar should obtain a Disability Certificate (i.e., online generated PwBD certificate from the MCC portal) as per 21 Benchmark Disabilities given under RPwD Act 2016 from the designated Disability Centers as per the list enclosed in ANNEXURE- II. The format of the online generated PwBD certificate from the MCC portal is attached in Annexure-I. The certificate issued by any other hospital/board will not be accepted.

The category of candidates as provided by NTA in the NEET(UG) 2024 result database is used for the AACCC-UG counselling process. The requests of candidates to change the category will NOT be entertained.

Candidates must note that the benefit of reservation will be given to them subject to verification of documents. If it is found at any stage that a candidate has used a false / fake / incorrect document, or has furnished false, incorrect or incomplete information, in order to avail the benefit of reservation, then such a candidate shall be excluded from all admission processes. In case such a candidate has already been given admission, the admission shall stand cancelled.

The reserved All India Quota vacant (virtual & Provisional) seats of ASU &H streams under Govt./Govt. Aided/National Institutes/Central Universities and of B. Pharm (Ay) ITRA that published after the 2 nd Round will be converted during the 3rd Round of counselling as per the following centrally approved conversion algorithm, only if the reserved seat is not opted by any candidate/non-availability of candidate of that particular category in 3rd Round. Further, candidates of the unreserved category cannot claim the reserved seats shown to them as a virtual vacancy if the same seat is opted by the candidate of that particular category. The NRI quota seats under Deemed Universities also shall be converted to Management Quota seats during 3rd round, If the Deemed Universities inform their willingness for the same in advance.

Counselling Scheme 2024:

  • NEET (UG) - 2024 qualified candidates are required to register on the AACCC website ( ) to participate in the AACCC-UG counselling 2024.
  • Candidates are advised to use the same E-mail address and Mobile Number for registration on the AACCC-UG portal for Counselling which was submitted during NEET-UG, 2024 Registration.
  • All the information/ communication will be sent by the AACCC, Ministry of Ayush on the registered E-mail or registered Mobile Number only.
  • Any request regarding change of registered mobile number or email address shall not be entertained by the AACCC, Ministry of Ayush.
  • Candidates are advised to use a laptop or Computer with the latest registered version of Chrome/Internet Explorer/Firefox/Windows/IOS during the Registration and Choice-Filling process to avoid any technical complications.
  • Be extremely careful while registering in the AACCC-UG Portal. Your allotment will be as per the information provided at the time of registration.
  • Candidates are advised to download ‘Sandes App’ for OTP on their registered mobile number for registration.
  • The AACCC, M/o Ayush reserves its absolute right to alter, amend, modify or apply any or some of the instructions/ guidelines contained in this information bulletin. In case of any ambiguity in the interpretation of any of the instructions/ terms/ rules/criteria regarding the determination of eligibility/conduct of counselling/ registration of candidates/ any information contained herein, the interpretation of the AACCC, M/o Ayush shall be final and binding in nature.

Round 1:

Eligibility for participation: Only NEET (UG)-2024 qualified candidates are eligible to apply/register for the AACCCUG counselling.

Process:

Step 1: Registration for all NEET-UG qualified candidates who wish to participate in AACCC-UG Counselling for admission to ASU&H-AIQ seats under Govt. /Govt. Aided/ Central Universities/National Institutes/ Deemed Universities and to AIQ-B. Pharm (Ay) seats of ITRA, Jamnagar.

Step 2: Payment of Counselling Fee (Non-Refundable Registration Fee + refundable Security Money) as per the candidate’s preference on the ‘selection of counselling’ in the AACCC-UG Portal i.e., (i) AIQ-Govt. (ii) Central Universities-National Institutes (iii) AIQ- Govt. Aided and (iv) Deemed Universities.

Step 3: Choice filling as per the candidate’s preference on streams [BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS/B.Pharm (Ay)] and Institute. (candidates can lock their choices as per schedule; if the candidate cannot lock the choices in time, it will automatically be locked as per server time)

Step 4: Processing of seat allotment as per candidate’s merit and choices on streams & institutes locked by the candidate/locked as per server time on portal.

Step 5: Publication of provisional result on the AACCC-UG portal: If there are any queries on the allotment, candidates must mail to counseling-ayush@gov.in within the specified time before publishing the final result. Requests/queries on allotment after publishing the final result shall not be entertained.

Step 6: Publication of final Seat allotment list (final result): Candidates can download the provisional allotment letter from the AACCC-UG portal.

Step 7: Physical Reporting to the allotted college/institute with all original documents (Refer FAQ No. 30 to 33) within the stipulated time as per schedule.

Note: The registration unlocking facility schedule is available “as a one-time measure” for all candidates who have not locked their choices to edit/modify the candidate's registration details on the portal if they fill in any wrong information.

Eligibility for participation:

a) NEET(UG)- 2024 qualified candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round.

b) Candidates registered and participated in the 1st Round but were not allotted a seat. No need to register again

c) R-1 not joined candidates who have opted for free exit in the 1st Round.

d) Candidates joined the R-1 allotted seat and submitted willingness for up-gradation at the time of reporting during R-1.

e) Round 1 joined candidates who availed of free exit and filled choices till the last day of choice filling period for R-2 are eligible for seat allotment. (Free exit period for R-1 joined candidates is available till the date of announcement of the R-2 final result-excluding the final result date)

Process:

Step 1: Registration for all NEET-UG qualified candidates who wish to participate in AACCC-UG Counselling for admission to ASU&H-AIQ seats under Govt/Govt.Aided/Central Universities/National Institutes/ Deemed Universities and to Can avail exit with forfeiture from the announcement of R-2 final result till 3 days prior to the commencement of Round 3 so that can participate in subsequent rounds as per the eligibility fixed for that round by paying complete fees again and filling fresh choices. R-1 admitted candidates withdraw their seats between 3 days prior to the commencement of Round 3 and till the date of publication of the 3rd Round final result (excluding the final result date), will become ineligible for AACCC-UG counselling. R-1 admitted candidates who withdraw their seats from the date of announcement of the 3rd Round final result will be ineligible for further Ayush-UG counselling. Candidate who exits the R-2 admitted seat with forfeiture of counselling fees between the period of 3 days before the commencement of R-3 and till the date of announcement of R-3 final result (excluding the final result date) will be eligible for State/UT counselling but ineligible for further rounds of AACCC-UG Counselling.

Candidates who exit the R-2 admitted seat with forfeiture of counselling fees from the date of announcement of R-3 final result; such candidates will become ineligible for AACCC-UG counselling / State-UT Counselling

If not upgraded

R-1 admitted candidates if not upgraded during R-2

Eligibility for participation:

a) NEET (UG)- 2024 qualified candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round & 2nd Round. Need to register afresh.

b) Candidates who have already registered but were not allotted seats in the 1st Round & 2 nd Round. No need to register again.

c) Round 1 allotted candidates who availed of free exit.

d) Round 1 admitted Candidates who availed of Free Exit till the date of announcement of the R-2 final result (excluding the final result date).

e) Round 1 admitted candidates but not upgraded during R-2.

f) Round 1 admitted candidates but not upgraded during R-2 and availed of exit with forfeiture of counselling fees 3 days prior to the commencement of R-3 can participate in R-3 with full payment of counselling fees.

g) Candidates joined the R-1 allotted seats and submitted willingness for up-gradation but did not participate in the 2nd Round of counselling.

h) Candidates joined the Round-2 allotted/upgraded seat and submitted willingness for up-gradation in the 3rd Round.

i) Round 2 non-joined candidates who availed of exit with forfeiture can participate in R3 with full payment of counselling fees.

j) Round 2 joined candidates who availed of exit with forfeiture of counselling fees 3 days prior to the commencement of R-3 can participate in R-3 with full payment of counselling fees.

Process:

Step 1: Registration for all NEET-UG qualified candidates who wish to participate in AACCC-UG Counselling for admission to AIQ seats under Govt/Govt.Aided/Central Universities-National Institutes/ Deemed Universities and to AIQ-B. Pharm (Ay) seats of ITRA, Jamnagar.

Step 2: Payment of Counselling Fee (Non-Refundable Registration Fee + refundable Security Money) as per candidate’s preference on the selection of counselling in the AACCC-UG Portal, i.e., (i) AIQ-Govt (ii) Central Universities-National Institutes (iii) AIQ Govt.Aided and (iv) Deemed Universities. Step 4: Processing of seat allotment as per candidate’s merit and choices on streams and institutes locked by the candidate/locked as per server time on the portal.

Step 5: Publication of provisional result on the AACCC-UG portal; if any queries on the allotment, candidates must mail to counseling-ayush@gov.in within the specified time before publishing the final result. Requests/queries on allotment after publishing the final result shall not be entertained.

Step 6: Publication of final Seat allotment list (final result): Candidates can download the provisional allotment letter from the AACCC-UG portal.

Step 7: Publication of list of candidates who secured their AIQ-UG seats through R-1/R-2 till the date of announcement of R-3 final result and who have been allotted seats in R-3 are ineligible for any Ayush-UG Counselling 2024 (Central/State-UT). These candidates are ineligible to participate in other Ayush-UG counselling. In this regard, it is also informed that the candidates who withdraw their seats during the period between 3 days before the commencement of R-3 and till the date of announcement of R-3 final result (excluding the final result date) are ineligible for AACCC-UG Counselling due to non-compliance of AACCC-UG Counselling scheme 2024.

Step 8: Physical Reporting to the allotted college/institute with all original documents (Refer FAQ No.30 to 33) within the stipulated time as per schedule.

R-1/R-2 admitted candidates if not upgraded during R-3

Candidate will be treated as R-3 admitted candidate from the date of announcement of R-3 final result, and Rules of R-3 joined candidates will be applicable to them.

Candidates whose seats have not been upgraded from R-1/R-2 to R-3

Continue their study at the joined R-1/R-2 institute. If the candidates withdraw the R-1/R2 seats from the date of announcement of the R-3 final result, they become ineligible for any Ayush- UG Counselling (Central/State/UT) with forfeiture of counselling fees.

If not allotted

Wish to participate in the next rounds of AACCC UG counselling.

Candidates can participate in the Stray Vacancy Round by filling fresh choices.

General Guidelines & Round 1 (FAQs):

Q.No.1. When will the AACCC-UG counselling for this Academic Year start?

Ans: The Online seat allotment process will start as per the Schedule of the AACCC-UG Counselling for the Academic Year 2024-25. Please see the schedule and notices uploaded on the AACCC website (https://aaccc.gov.in/) from time to time.

Q.No.2. How do I register on the AACCC website/Portal, and how do I fill in Choices?

Ans: Candidates must log on to the website (https://aaccc.gov.in/) to register and fill in choices. Before choice filling/locking for each round, candidates are advised to make a tentative list of colleges or courses as per their preference after looking into the provisional seat matrix uploaded in the “Current events” section of the AACCC website.

Important: The registration facility will be available at the beginning of the 1st Round, 2nd Round, 3rd Round and Stray Vacancy Round (SVR-I).

Q.No.3. How and when do I have to make the payment for AACCC-UG counselling?

Ans: After registration, the payment page appears automatically. Candidates can only make online payments using Net Banking, credit cards, debit cards (preferably from nationalised banks), or UPI. After the successful completion of payment, the candidate can proceed with choice filling.

Q.No.4. Do I have to report to any counselling centre for registration or choice filling?

Ans: No, Online registration and choice filling can be done from a place of convenience (including from home) using a laptop/computer with an uninterrupted internet facility.

Q.No.5. Do I need to upload any documents to register on the AACCC-UG portal?

Ans: There is no need to upload any academic documents on the portal. However, you need to fill up the similar information you gave when registering for the NEET (UG)-2024 examination on the NTA website.

Q.No.6. How do I get the password for logging in?

Ans: During the process of online registration, you have to create your unique password. Candidates are advised to keep the password confidential till the end of the counselling process. The candidate can change the password as per convenience. Sharing a password can result in somebody else misusing it, even leading to the exclusion of genuine candidates from the online allotment process. (Please see the password policy uploaded on the AACCC portal).

Important: During registration on the AACCC portal, you have to fill in exactly the same credentials (spelling, numbers, etc) which you had filled at the time of registration for NEET (UG)-2024 Examination.

Q.No.7. Difficulty in login; what may be the problem(s)?

Ans: Follow the instructions about the use of the browser, the latest registered version of Chrome/Internet Explorer/Firefox/Windows/IOS, as it is difficult to log in from other browsers. Use similar spellings and the similar format of the date as in the online application form submitted at the time of registration for the NEET (UG)-2024 Examination. Q.No.8. I have difficulty in creating a Password; what may be the problem(s)?

Ans: Create a password as per the password policy uploaded on the website. Please use the internet browser as suggested above at Q.No.7 while creating a password. Use the ‘Shift’ key instead of the ‘Caps Lock’ key.

Q.No.9. If I forgot the password, how can I retrieve it?

Ans: To retrieve the forgotten password, the software system facilitates the following process:

Reset password using a reset link via registered E-mail

Candidate has to enter their NEET (UG)-2024 Roll No. If the entered data (Roll No.) matches with the backend database, then the system will send a reset password link to the registered email-id. After clicking the received link in the mail-inbox, candidates must follow the online instructions to reset the New Password.

OR

Reset password using an OTP via SMS

Candidate has to enter their NEET (UG)-2024 Roll No. If entered data (Roll No.) matches with the backend database, then the system will send a verification code through SMS to the registered mobile no. Candidates are required to enter a verification code, and if the verification code matches with the database, the system will prompt resetting New Password.

Important: It is strongly recommended that the OTP sent to the applicant for any activity like reset password etc. must not be shared with anyone. This OTP is confidential and to be used by the applicant only. Neither AACCC, M/o Ayush nor NIC will be responsible for violation or misuse of the password/OTP.

Q.No.10. Can I edit/modify the registration details if I fill in the wrong information during registration on the AACCC-UG portal?

Ans. Yes. You can edit/modify the registration details by availing of the registration unlocking facility under tab ‘Available Services’ on the portal. Candidates can avail this facility before choice locking and it is available as a ‘one time measure’ in time bound manner. Candidates can make following changes on the portal by availing this facility: i. Edit/modify the registration details and choices submitted by the candidate. ii. Edit the ‘selection of counselling’.

Q.No.11. When I try to log in for a choice filling, it says wrong roll number/password; what may be the problem(s)?

Ans: Password is case-sensitive; therefore, use exactly the same password created earlier. In case the password is forgotten, try to retrieve it using the process mentioned in Q.No.9 above.

Q.No.12. Is there any restriction for filling the number of choices of institutions and/or courses?

Ans: You can give as many choices as you wish during online choice filling. However, the candidate must fill in the choices of colleges/courses in the order of his/her preference (higher to lower). There will be a common counselling platform (https://aaccc.gov.in) for AIQ(BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) seats under -Govt/Govt Aided/National Institutes/ Central/ Deemed Universities and AIQ-B.Pharm.(Ay) seats- ITRA for filling up choices.

Q.No.13. Can I know which seat I will likely get at my rank?

Ans: You can have some idea on the selection of college/course from the following facts uploaded on the AACCC-UG portal:

a)AACCC, M/o Ayush uploads the details of College/Course and category wise Opening and Closing rank of admission in ASU&H-UG courses for the A.Y. 2023-24) in the “Current Events” section under the “UG Counselling tab” on the AACCC- website (https://aaccc.gov.in/).

b) Before registering on the AACCC-UG portal, all candidates are advised to review this information for a better idea on the allotment of seats for the A.Y. 2023-24. This will only be indicative, and the admission pattern for the current A.Y. may vary depending on the availability of UG seats in ASU&H courses.

Q.No.14. How do I know the availability of seats in participating institutes during 1st Round of AACCC-UG counselling?

Ans. AACCC, M/o Ayush will upload the data on the Provisional seat matrix in the “Current Events” Section on the AACCC-UG portal during each round of counselling. The information on the vacant seats in the participating institutes will be available on the Provisional seat matrix.

Q.No.15. Is filling up and locking of choices necessary to get the seat allotted? Or will I be allotted a seat automatically from leftover seats? Ans: After online registration, you must fill in the choices of colleges/courses in order of your preference (higher to lower) and lock it before the server time during each round of counselling as per schedule. The submitted/ filled choices can be modified before locking. If candidates do not lock the choices submitted by them, it will automatically be locked as per schedule/ Server time. You will not be allotted any seats if you don’t fill in choices even after registering on the AACCC portal. Candidates can download/print out the locked choices for future reference.

Q.No.16. Is it necessary to download the duly filled registration form for AACCC-UG Counselling from the portal?

Ans: Yes. It is necessary to download the duly filled registration form for AACCC-UG Counselling from the AACCC-UG portal. Some Universities instruct the candidates to submit the same to complete the admission process.

Q.No.17. Can I modify my choices during the choice submission period for counselling?

Ans: Yes, you can modify, add or delete your choices during the choice Filling period. Further, it is advised to do the same before locking the choices by yourself or the System as per schedule/ server time.

Q.No.18. What will happen to my choices if I have not locked my choices before the time specified in the counselling schedule on the last date of choice locking?

Ans: The choices you submitted and saved will be locked automatically on the last date of choice locking as per server time.

Q.No.19. How can I get a printout of my choices?

Ans: Candidates are requested to login to the AACCC-UG portal and take a printout of their choices that they have locked during the choice filling /Locking period or after the specified time of the last date of choice locking.

Q.No.20. Is it possible to modify/edit my choices after the choice locking?

Ans: Once locked the choices, it is impossible to unlock the same, even from the AACCC, MoA end. Hence, the candidates are advised to verify all choices before locking in. The Choices, once locked, cannot be modified, and any request to the AACCC, M/o Ayush, regarding tinkering of choices will not be entertained.

Important: Don’t wait till the last minute to Register and fill in choices. Please go through your selected/submitted choices before locking, as once you lock the choices it cannot be modified or changed. It may result in the allotment of a seat which you never wanted. (Please note that the choices once locked cannot be unlocked even from the AACCC, MoA end).

Q.No.21. Is there a separate counselling platform for counselling & admission to B.Pharm (Ay.) seats under ITRA, Jamnagar?

Ans: No. There is no separate Counselling platform for counselling & admission to AIQB.Pharm (Ay.) seats under ITRA, Jamnagar. Candidates who wish to take admission in AIQ-B.Pharm(Ay.) seats can register through the AACCC-UG portal. Candidates have to opt ‘Central University-National Institutes in the section of ‘selection of counselling’ on the AACCC-UG Portal for B. Pharm (Ay) courses. Candidates can submit their preferences/choices of courses among BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS/B. Pharm (Ay) on the AACCC-UG portal.

Q.No.22. Is there a separate schedule for counselling and admission to B. Pharm (Ay.) course?

Ans. No. There is no separate schedule for B. Pharm (Ay.) counselling. The schedule for admission to B.Pharm (Ay.) course is as per the counselling schedule for counselling and admission to ASU & H –UG courses (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS).

Q.No.23. How many seats are available under the All India Quota B. Pharm (Ay.) course, and what reservation policy is applicable to these AIQ seats?

Ans: As per the letter dated 12.06.2024 of ITRA, Jamnagar, 46 AIQ seats are available for allotment through AACCC-UG counselling 2024. The Centrally approved reservation policy is applicable on these AIQ-B.Pharm (Ay.) seats (Refer Chapter 4- Reservation policy)

Q.No.24. How can I get an online allotment and admission to the B.Pharm (Ay.) course through AACCC-UG portal?

Ans: Procedure for allotment and admission to B.Pharm (Ay.) Course under ITRA, Jamnagar:

a) Registration on the AACCC-UG portal

b) Opt ‘Central Universities/National Institutes’ in ‘selection of counselling’.

c) Payment of Counselling fees (Registration fees + Security deposit)

d) Submit choice for the B.Pharm (Ay) course under the institute ITRA, Jamnagar.

e) Lock choices as per the schedule or otherwise, it will be locked as per server time.

f) Online allotment of seat based on the NEET-UG 2024 All India merit.

Q.No.25. If I joined B. Pharm (Ay.) course at ITRA, Jamnagar during R-1, am I eligible for other UG courses (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) during subsequent rounds?

Ans. Yes. You are eligible for allotment to other UG Courses (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) during subsequent rounds. However, eligible candidates are advised to submit willingness for upgradation during reporting at the ITRA, Jamnagar and submit fresh choices of their preferred course in the subsequent rounds (R-2/R-3).

Q.No.26. What about the Stipend/fee structure/bond amount/accommodation/hostel/ rendering of service in rural /tribal areas /other conditions for the allotted course/college?

Ans: Stipend/Fee structure/bond amount/accommodation/hostel/rendering of service in rural areas/tribal areas/other conditions, etc., may vary amongst States/Universities/Institutes. The allotment made through the online Counselling process will be firm and final. Therefore, the candidates should be aware of these points before opting for a course at ASU & H Colleges. The AACCC, M/o Ayush shall neither be responsible nor entertain any cases on the above grounds. The information received from the participating ASU&H-UG Colleges has been made available on the Counselling website. However, before choice filling, candidates are advised to visit the College website or contact the College Authorities directly for any query regarding the above information.

Important: AACCC, M/o Ayush has no role in the fixation of Fee Structure/ Stipend/Bond of ASU&H Colleges. Therefore, AACCC, M/o Ayush will not entertain any request or complaint regarding this.

Q.No.27. How much time will be given to join the allotted course/Institute?

Ans: Candidates who have been allotted seats are advised to join the allotted College/Course as per the schedule and reporting rules for that round. However, candidates are advised to join at the earliest as per the schedule and not wait until the last day of joining. Some ASU & H Colleges may take 2 to 3 days to complete the admission formalities due to the institute's different holiday/working hour schedules.

Q.No.28. Whether my admission valid if the college admits me to the allotted seat through offline mode?

Ans: No. The AACCC, M/o Ayush will not approve the admission made through offline mode by the college under any circumstances. Therefore, candidates are advised to ask for ‘Provisional Admission Letter’ generated online through the AACCC portal at the time of admission to ensure that the college has admitted him/her through online mode.

Q.No.29. What will be the fate of the seat at which the college makes offline admission?

Ans: If a candidate is admitted through offline mode at the allotted seat, the seat occupancy will be shown as ‘vacant’ in the UG-admitted/reported list in the AACCC-Portal; subsequently, this vacant seat will be allotted to another candidate in the subsequent round of AACCC-UG counselling. Therefore, the offline admitted candidate will lose his/her allotted seat in the respective round of the AACCC-UG counselling.

Q.No.30. What documents are required at the time of Joining/ Reporting in allotted ASU& H College?

Ans: Original documents (along with attested photocopies, preferably 02 sets of documents) required at the time of joining in allotted ASU& H College are as below:

  1. i.Provisional Allotment Letter generated online from the AACCC portal.
  2. ii.Admit Card for the NEET (UG)-2024 Exam issued by NTA.
  3. iii.NEET (UG)-2024 re-revised score card issued by NTA on 26.07.2024
  4. iv.Date of Birth Certificate (if the10th Standard Certificate does not bear the same)

  11. xi.The candidate should also bring the following certificate in the prescribed format attached in annexures, if applicable:
  • a)Disability Certificate issued by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board for 21 Benchmark Disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disability Act, 2016, will be accepted. Further, the authorized designated disability centres will issue the online generated PwBD Certificate from the MCC portal, and the format. No other PwBD certificate issued by any other Authorities/ Hospital will be considered for admission. (The qualified candidates with Benchmark Disability (PwBD)- should get themselves certified at one of the Disability Assessment Boards, constituted in various States/UTs. The list of Authorized designated Centers that will issue Disability Certificates as per 21 Benchmark Disabilities given under RPwD Act2016.
  • b)The SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority should be in English or Hindi. Sub-caste should be mentioned in the certificate and tally with the respective central list of corresponding states published by the Government of India ( https://socialjustice.gov.in/common/76750 ) and (https://tribal.nic.in/KnowledgeHub.aspx ). The certificate should be as per the prescribed format of the Government of India.
  • c)OBC-NCL certificate issued by the Competent Authority (issued on or after 1 April 2024) as per the prescribed format of the Government of India. The subcaste in the OBC-NCL certificate should tally with the updated Central List of OBC: http://www.ncbc.nic.in. The OBC-NCL certificate format is attached as ANNEXURE-IV.
  • d)Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS) certificate issued on or after 1 April 2024 by the Competent Authority. (ANNEXURE-V)
  • e)In case of admission to the BSMS course, the candidates are advised to produce the Certificate of 10th or 12th standard having Tamil as one of the subjects; otherwise, the candidate shall have to study Tamil as a subject during the first professional B.S.M.S course.
  • f)In case of admission to the BUMS course, the candidates are advised to produce the Certificate of 10th or 12th standard having Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as one of the subjects; otherwise, the candidate shall have to study the Urdu language along with Arabic and Mantiq wa Falsafa (Logic and Philosophy) as a subject during the First Professional B.U.M.S session.

Important: Candidates without original certificates/documents shall not be allowed to take admission to the allotted ASU&H College. Candidates who have deposited their original documents in any other Institute/College/University and come for admission with a certificate/undertaking stating that "original certificates are deposited with the Institute/College/University” or bring coloured photo copy of original documents shall not be allowed to take admission in allotted ASU & H College.

Q.No.31. Is it necessary to submit Domicile Certificate for admission to AIQ-UG seats under ASU & H stream?

Ans. No, it is not necessary to submit Domicile Certificate for AIQ-UG seats at the time of admission to the allotted institute as the AIQ seats are domicile-free, informed vide the Ministry’s letter No. L-18020/2/2023-EP-I dated 26.05.2023.

Q.No.32. Should I submit any other certificate (e.g. Caste validity certificate) to complete the admission process?

Ans. Candidate is advised to confirm with the allotted College regarding any requirement of certificate other than that mentioned in FAQ No.30. If so, the candidate is instructed to bring such required certificates (e.g. Caste validity certificate) at the time of reporting at the allotted seat.

Q.No.33. In which format should I submit the certificates; if I do not submit certificates in the prescribed format, what will happen to my allotted seat? OR What are the instructions regarding EWS, OBC, SC, ST & PwBD certificates and Reservations?

Ans. Candidates are requested to submit the relevant certificates issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format of the Government of India, as mentioned in annexures. If the candidate fails to produce the Caste, EWS and PwBD certificate in the prescribed format, at the allotted ASU & H College, then he/she will not be permitted to take admission.

Q.No.35. Is there any lower age limit for the candidate seeking admission to ASU &HUG courses?

Ans: Candidate should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the first year of the ASU & H Undergraduate Course is eligible for admission. (Please see NEET (UG)-2024 Information Bulletin) Accordingly, the lower age limit shall be as under:

Q.No.36. Is there any upper age limit for the candidates seeking admission to ASU &H-UG courses for the academic year 2024-25?

Ans: The NCISM and NCH vide its letter dated 15.07.2022 have jointly decided not to insist any upper age limit for candidates seeking admission in ASU & H (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) undergraduate courses since the academic year 2022-23, i.e. there is no upper age limit for admission in ASU & H-UG courses.

Q.No.37. If I have a Birth Certificate/Caste Certificate/other certificate (s) in the regional language, will it be acceptable at the time of reporting/joining?

Ans: Certificates issued by the Competent Authority should be in Hindi or English. In case the certificate is issued in regional language (other than Hindi or English), candidates are advised to carry a certified (attested) Copy of the English version of the original certificate along with the original certificate, as Certain States insist on certificates issued in English.

Q.No.38. What can I do if there is a spelling discrepancy between the Certificates and the AACCC-application/registration form/provisional allotment letter?

Ans: If there is a discrepancy in spelling on Certificates, the candidate must carry an affidavit/undertaking to prove that the documents belong to the same person.

Q.No.39. At the time of admission during any round, will my original certificates be retained by the allotted college/institution?

Ans: Yes, all participating colleges/institutions have been instructed to retain the original certificates of admitted students and release them only after the seat has been upgraded or the candidate withdraws/cancels the seat.

Q.No.40. Whether candidate’s category will be changed during admission at the allotted institute if a category candidate (OBC-NCL/EWS…etc.) gets allotted a seat under the UR category?

Ans: No, if the candidate has a valid category certificate (OBC-NCL/EWS…etc.), the candidate's category (OBC-NCL/EWS…etc.) will not be changed to the allotted UR category during admission at the allotted institute. But, if the candidate fails to produce a valid category certificate (OBC-NCL/EWS…etc.), the college has to change the candidate's category to the allotted category on the portal while verifying documents after getting consent from the candidate for completing admission process.

Q.No.41. What happens if the college/institute changes the candidate's category (e.g. OBC-NCL/ EWS) to the allotted category (UR) during admission if the candidate gets allotted a UR category seat?

Ans. Suppose the college changes the candidate's category (e.g.OBC-NCL/EWS) to the allotted UR category on the portal during admission for any reason; in that case, the candidate will be considered as a UR candidate in subsequent rounds of counselling, and they are not eligible for allotment of the seat of their category (e.g. OBC-NCL/EWS). Hence, candidates are advised to be aware of this category change during choice filling for the subsequent rounds.

Q.No.42. Is NRI (Non-Resident Indian)/OCI (Overseas citizens of India)/PIO (Person of Indian Origin) candidates eligible for admission to ASU & H UG courses?

Ans. Yes. NRI/OCI/PIO candidates are eligible for admission to ASU & H- UG courses after qualifying for the NEET-UG 2024 examination. Please refer to Chapter 5 of NEET UG -2024 Information Bulletin for the eligibility criteria and submission of relevant documents at the time of admission for NRI/OCI/PIO candidates.

Q.No.43. What is the procedure for admission at foreign quota seats in ASU & H- UG courses?

Ans. Foreign nationals need not qualify for the NEET- UG 2024 examination for admission to ASU&H-UG courses. Further, AACCC, M/o Ayush has no role in counselling for foreign quota seats.

Q.No.44. What are the documents mandatorily required for NRI quota admission?

Ans. Following certificates are mandatorily required for NRI quota admission:

a) Passport/ Visa copy of sponsorer,

b) Embassy certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate).

c) Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of study)

d) Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsorer)

Q.No.45. Where will I get NRI quota admission for Ayurveda, Unani and Homoeopathy undergraduate courses through AACCC-UG counselling?

Ans. The NRI quota seats are available at Deemed Universities participating in the AACCC-UG counselling. The details of the seat availability will uploaded in the provisional seat matrix of Deemed Universities under the ‘Currents Events’ section on the AACCCUG portal during each round of counselling.

Q.No.46. If I joined a course during R-1/R-2, am I eligible for other UG courses (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS/B.Pharm (Ay.)) during subsequent rounds?

Ans. Yes. You are eligible for allotment to other UG Courses (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS/B.Pharm (Ay.)) during subsequent rounds. However, eligible candidates are advised to submit their willingness for upgradation during reporting at the R-1/R-2 allotted institute and submit fresh choices of their preferred course in the subsequent rounds (R-2/R-3). Upgradation is available upto Round-3.

Round 2 (FAQs):

Q.No.47. I have registered in the 1st Round; should I register again for the 2nd Round?

Ans: Only candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round need to register afresh for the 2nd Round.

Q.No.48. I have submitted willingness for up-gradation in the 2nd Round while joining the 1st Round allotted seat. Later, I changed my decision and wanted to retain the 1st Round allotted seat; how it is possible?

Ans: The candidate does not need to fill any fresh choices for the 2nd Round, so the earlier R-1 allotted seat will be retained. If the seat gets upgraded on submission of fresh choices during R-2, the earlier R-1 allotted seat will be cancelled. Further, the candidate needs to join the Round-2 upgraded seat as per the R-2 reporting rules of Counselling Scheme 2024.

Q.No.49. Is it necessary to join the Round 1 allotted college to get a chance to participate in the 2nd Round?

Ans: No. If the candidate is not interested in the R-1 allotted seat, he/she can avail of free exit without reporting/joining the allotted college; further, he/she can participate in the 2 nd Round with the filling of fresh choices. However, if he/she wants to hold the Round-1 allotted seat, he/she should join the allotted College physically and submit up-gradation willingness for the 2nd Round.

Q.No.50. Who is eligible for the R-2 seat allotment?

Ans: Candidates eligible for seat allotment in the 2nd Round would be from one of the following groups:

Group–I: Newly registered candidate for R-2

Group-II: Registered candidates who got no seats in the R-1.

Group–III: Candidates who have reported at the R-1 allotted institute and submitted willingness for 2nd Round up-gradation as ‘Yes’.

Group-IV: Candidates who have been allotted seats in the 1 st Round but availed of ‘free exit’.

Group-V: Candidates who have resigned/availed free exit from the R-1 joined seats before the commencement of R-2 and filled choices till the last day of the choice-filling period for R-2.

Q.No.51. What is the procedure for 2nd Round?

Ans: All eligible candidates who wish to participate in the 2nd Round of online allotment will have to submit fresh choices and lock the choices during the choice-filling/locking period. All choices will be published as provisional and virtual seat matrices on the portal.

Q.No.52. Do I have to fill up the choice of courses and Colleges to participate in the 2nd Round of the online allotment process?

Ans: Yes, eligible candidates must submit fresh choice(s) of college(s)/course(s) for online seat allotment during the 2nd Round. In case a candidate does not fill in fresh choice(s) during the choice-filling period, the candidate will not be considered for seat allotment during the 2nd Round and will retain the already joined seat in the 1st Round, if any.

Q.No.53. Is it necessary to join the R-2 allotted college/seat that upgraded from R-1?

Ans: Yes. If the candidate gets upgraded a seat during R-2, the R-1 joined seat will automatically be cancelled immediately (i.e., that seat will be allotted to somebody else). Upgraded candidates of R-2 are advised to join the college/seat as per the reporting rules after obtaining an online-generated relieving letter from the R-1 joined college. If R-1 joined candidates upgraded in R-2 and do not wish to join the upgraded college/seat, they can avail of exit with forfeiture of counselling fees. Seats can also be upgraded in the same college (same course) by change of category (i.e.ST/SC/OBC to UR or PwD to non-PwD) during R-2; in such a case, the candidate has to take fresh admission on the upgraded seat of R-2 by taking online generated ‘Relieving letter’ from the R-1 Joined seat.

Q.No.54. Is it necessary to join the R-2 allotted college/seat?

Ans: If candidates get allotted a seat in R-2 and wish to join, they are advised to join the allotted seat as per schedule; otherwise, they can avail of exit with forfeiture of counselling fees. Q.No.55. What is the time period for the free exit for R-1 admitted candidates? Ans: R-1 admitted candidates who wish to resign the R-1 seat can avail of free exit till the date of announcement of the R-2 final result. After this stipulated time, R-1 joined candidates are treated as R-2 joined candidates, and R-2 rules will apply to them.

Q.No.56. If my R-1 seat is not upgraded in R-2, and I wish to withdraw R-1 joined seat, will I be eligible to participate in further rounds of AACCC-UG Counselling?

Ans: After the announcement of the R-2 result, R-1 joined candidates who have not been upgraded in Round 2 are treated as R-2 joined candidates, and R-2 rules apply to them. If such candidates wish to withdraw their R-1 joined seat, they can exit with forfeiture of counselling fees till three days prior to the commencement of R-3, then they will be eligible to participate in AACCC/State/UT-UG counselling. Q.No.57. I opted for up-gradation in the 2nd Round/3rd Round of counselling when reporting to the 1st Round/2nd Round allotted college. Will my earlier joined R-1/R-2 seat be cancelled?

Ans: Yes, once the seat is upgraded during the 2nd Round/ 3rd Round, the earlier R-1/R-2 joined seat will automatically be cancelled, respectively, and the same will be allotted to another candidate. Therefore, you are advised to fill in only higher choices or choices which you prefer over the earlier joined seat.

Q.No.58. Can I join the college directly if my seat gets upgraded during the 2nd Round/3rd Round from the 1st Round/2nd Round of AACCC-UG counselling?

Ans: No. You must get an online-generated relieving letter from the earlier R-1/R-2 joined institute/college before joining the R-2/R-3 upgraded seat/college. The candidate will not be permitted to join the upgraded seats without a relieving letter from earlier admitted institutes and original documents.

Q.No.59. If I get an upgraded seat in the same college because of a change of category (e.g. from SC/ST/OBC to UR category), do I have to take admission on the upgraded seat again?

Ans: Yes, you have to proceed as follows:

Step-1: Get an online-generated relieving letter through the AACCC portal from the institute for the earlier joined seat.

Step 2: You must join the upgraded category seat and get a Provisional Admission Letter, generated online, for the upgraded category seat. (your earlier joined seat would be cancelled and allotted to another candidate).

Q.No.60. Is it necessary to join the 2nd Round allotted/upgraded seat to participate in the 3rd Round?

Ans: If a candidate gets allotted/upgraded a seat in R-2, following rules he must follow to participate in 3rd Round:

  • If a candidate wishes to hold the R-2 allotted/upgraded seat, he/she needs to join the college physically and give up-gradation willingness for the 3rd Round at the time of admission to the 2nd Round allotted/upgraded college.
  • If a candidate does not wish to hold the R-2 allotted/upgraded seat, he can avail of exit with forfeiture of counselling fees as per the reporting schedule for R-2 (need to pay complete fees again to participate in subsequent rounds as per the eligibility criteria for that round.)
  • If a candidate wants to resign Round-2 joined seat, he/she can withdraw the seat 3 days prior to the commencement of the 3rd Round with forfeiture of counselling fees; then he/she will be eligible to participate in further AACCC/State/UT- UG counselling. If a candidate fails to do so, he/she shall become ineligible for AACCCUG counselling.

Important: In case, candidates have not submitted willingness for up-gradation in the 3rd Round at the time of joining/reporting to 1 st /2 nd Round allotted College, he/she will not be considered eligible for up- gradation in 3rd Round.

Q.No.61. If I joined the Round-2 allotted seat but later changed my decision and wanted to exit, can I participate in further AYUSH counselling (AACCC/State/UT)?

Ans: Conditions to participate in further AYUSH counselling (AACCC/State/UT) is as follows:

  • Round-2 joined candidates who withdraw/surrender their seats three days before the commencement of the 3rd Round with forfeiture of counselling fees can participate in further AACCC/State/UT- UG counselling.
  • R-2 joined candidates who withdraw their admitted seat with forfeiture of counselling fees between the period of 3 days before the commencement of R-3 and till the date of announcement of R-3 final result (excluding the final result date) will be eligible for State/UT counselling but ineligible for further rounds of AACCC-UG Counselling.
  • R-2 joined candidates who withdraw their admitted seat with forfeiture of counselling fees from the date of announcement of R-3 final result will become ineligible for AACCC-UG counselling / State-UT Counselling.

Q.No.62. Is there free exit available in Round 2?

Ans: There is no free exit available in R-2. Candidates who get allotted/upgraded a seat in R-2 are advised to join the R-2 allotted/upgraded seat as per the reporting schedule; otherwise, their counselling fees will be forfeited.

Q.No.63. Am I eligible for further AYUSH counselling if I resign from the R-2 joined institute/ course?

Ans: Yes. Candidate shall be eligible for further AACCC/State/UT AYUSH-UG counselling if he/she withdraws the R-2 joined institute/ course three days prior to the commencement of registration for the 3rd Round with forfeiture of counselling fees, otherwise ineligible as mentioned in FAQ. No. 61.

Q.No.64. Who will be eligible for the “Exit with Forfeiture” option in the 2nd Round?

Ans: Following candidates will be eligible for ‘Exit with Forfeiture’

  • Candidates who do not wish to join the R-2 allotted seat can avail of exit with forfeiture within the reporting schedule as per the AACCC-UG counselling scheme.
  • Candidates who wish to withdraw the R-2 joined seat can avail of exit with forfeiture three days before the commencement of the 3rd Round so that he/she will be eligible for AACCC/State/UT/Central pool quota Ayush-UG counselling. If the candidate fails to do so within the stipulated period, he/she will be ineligible, as mentioned in FAQ. No. 61.
  • R-1 joined candidates whose seat has not been upgraded in R-2 can avail of exit with forfeiture three days before the commencement of the 3rd Round so that he/she will be eligible for AACCC/State/UT/ Central pool quota Ayush-UG counselling. If the candidate fails to do so within the stipulated period, he/she will be ineligible, as mentioned in FAQ. No. 61.

Q.No.65. Am I eligible for Central Pool Quota Counselling if I join the R-2 allotted seat of AACCC-UG counselling?

Ans: R-2 joined candidates can participate in the Central Pool Quota counselling; however, once he/she gets allotted a seat through Central Pool Quota (CGN) counselling, he/she needs to withdraws the Round-2 joined seat till the date of announcement of R-3 final result (excluding the final result date) with Forfeiture of counselling fees. If the candidate fails to do so within the stipulated time, he/she shall be ineligible for Central Pool Quota counselling. Further, the AACCC, M/o Ayush has no role in the Counselling for Central Pool Quota seats.

Q.No.66. If I withdraw the R-1/R-2 joined seat on or after the announcement of R-3 final result, will I be eligible for Ayush-UG counselling?

Ans: If the candidates withdraw the R-1/R-2 joined seats on or after the announcement of the R-3 final result with forfeiture of counselling fees, they will be ineligible for AACCC/State/UT/Central pool quota Ayush-UG counselling.

Round-3 (FAQs):

Important: Candidates are advised to take a calculated decision to participate in 3rd round as they would not be permitted to resign from 3rd round allotted seat. They will also not be allowed to participate in any AYUSH-UG Counselling for that year once a seat is allotted in 3rd round.

Q.No.67. I have registered in the 1st and 2nd Round; should I register again for the 3rd Round?

Ans: Only candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round and 2nd Round need to register afresh for the 3rd Round. Further, candidates who avail of exit with forfeiture of counselling fees need to pay complete fees again to participate in the 3 rd Round as per the eligibility criteria for R-3.

Q.No.68. Who will be eligible for the 3rd Round of AACCC-UG Counselling?

Ans: The following categories of candidates are eligible for the 3rd Round:

Group I: Candidates who are registering for the first time.

Group II: Registered candidates who have not been allotted seats in Round 1 & 2.

Group III: Round 1 allotted candidates who availed of free exit.

Group IV: Round 1 joined candidates who opted for up-gradation but did not participate in the 2nd Round of counselling (with fresh choice filling).

Group V: Round 1 joined candidates who availed of free exit till the date of announcement of the R-2 final result (excluding final result date) and did not participate in the 2nd Round

Group VI: Round 1 joined candidates but not upgraded during R-2

Group VII: Round 1 admitted candidates but not upgraded during R-2 and availed of exit with forfeiture of counselling fees 3 days prior to the commencement of R-3 can participate with full payment of counselling fees.

Group VIII: Round 2 allotted/upgraded candidates who avail of exit with forfeiture can participate with full payment of counselling fees.

Group IX: Round 2 joined candidates who submitted willingness for upgradation at the time of reporting to the R-2 allotted institute.

Group X: Round 2 joined candidates who avail of exit with forfeiture of counselling fees 3 days prior to the commencement of R-3 can participate with full payment of counselling fees.

Q.No.69. What is the procedure for the 3rd Round of Counselling?

Ans: Eligible candidates may submit fresh Choices during the 3rd Round choice filling period and will be allotted seats based on merit and choices locked by the candidate/as per server time. The provisional and virtual seat matrix for vacant seats will be published on the AACCC portal. Candidates will be shown all available choices against actual and virtual vacancies. (Virtual vacancies are likely to be available when the seats get vacated during up-gradation and the seat conversion as per the following algorithm). The reserved vacant AIQ-ASU& H (Govt. /Govt. Aided /CU/NI) seats and B.Pharm (Ay.) seats that published after the 2 nd Round will be converted during the 3rd Round of counseling as per the following algorithm, only if the reserved seat is not opted by any candidate/non-availability of candidate of that particular category in 3rd Round.

Important: During 3rd Round, conversion algorithm will be applied on those reserved category seats which are not opted by any candidate (or may be due to non-availability of candidate of that particular category) and such converted seats are exhibited as virtual vacancies during choice filling for Round-3 on the portal. Candidates cannot claim for such virtual vacancies because such seats will be allotted to them only if the same seats are not opted by the candidate of the reserved category.

Q.No.70. Is the Up-gradation allowed from the 1st /2nd Round to the 3rd Round of the AACCC-UG counselling?

Ans: Yes. Up-gradation is allowed from the 1st /2nd Round to the 3rd Round of AACCC counselling for the candidates who submitted willingness for upgradation at the time of reporting to the R-1/R-2 allotted institute. However, the candidates must join R-3 allotted seat that upgraded from 1st & 2nd Round admitted seats as their earlier joined R-1/R-2 seat stands cancelled. If such candidates do not join the upgraded seats in Round-3, their counselling fees will be forfeited, and they will become ineligible for further AYUSH-UG counselling. (Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota). Q.No.71. Should I be eligible for Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota Counselling if I am allotted/upgraded a seat in the 3rd Round of AACCC-UG counselling? Ans: No. The candidates must join their upgraded/allotted seats in the 3rd Round. If such candidates do not join their upgraded/allotted seats, their counselling fees will be forfeited, and they will become ineligible for further AYUSH-UG counselling. (Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota). The names of all ineligible candidates will be circulated to all Central/State counselling authorities to prohibit them from participating in any AYUSH-UG counselling (Central/State/UT/ Central Pool Quota).

Q.No.72. What will happen if a candidate does not join the 3rd Round allotted/upgraded seat?

Ans: If a candidate does not join the 3rd Round allotted/upgraded seat as per schedule, the candidate's admission will be cancelled with forfeiture of counselling fees. Further, he/she will become ineligible for any other AYUSH counselling. (Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota).

Q.No.73. I joined the R-1 allotted seat and submitted my willingness to upgrade the seat; for some reason, I could not participate in the 2nd Round. Will I be eligible to participate in R-3?

OR

I joined the R-1 allotted seat but was not upgraded during R-2. Will I be eligible to participate in R-3?

Ans: Yes. You are eligible to participate in R-3 of AACCC-UG Counselling as per the eligibility criteria fixed for Round 3.

Q.No.74. What will happen to vacant seats after the completion of the 3rd Round?

Ans: All India Quota (AIQ) seats of Govt./Govt. Aided/CU/NI institutions and AIQ seats of B. Pharm (Ay.) that remain vacant after the completion of the 3rd Round will continue to be allotted during the online Stray Vacancy Round (SVR-I & SVR-II) conducted by the AACCC, M/o Ayush. Deemed University seats that remain vacant after the 3rd Round will revert to respective Deemed University after the completion of the Stray Vacancy Round for Govt./ Govt. Aided/CU/NI Institutions. Further, Deemed Universities are instructed to conduct Stray Vacancy Round (SVR-DU) through the AACCC-UG portal and for the same, AACCC, M/o Ayush will provide the list of eligible registered candidates and list of ineligible candidates.

Q.No.75. How does AACCC, M/o Ayush, prohibit ineligible candidates from participating in further Ayush-UG Counselling (AACCC/State/UT/Central pool quota)?

Ans: · Ineligibility for AACCC-UG Counselling Candidates who withdrew their seats between the period from 3 days before the commencement of R-3 to the date of announcement of the R-3 final result (excluding the final result date) or did not comply with the AACCC-UG counselling scheme 2024 are ineligible to participate in AACCC-UG counselling, which means the AACCC UG portal will block the candidature of the applicant from participating in further rounds of AACCC-UG Counselling.

· Ineligibility for AACCC/State/UT/Central pool Quota-UG Counselling Candidates who secured their AIQ-UG seats through R-1/R-2 till the date of announcement of the R-3 final result and who have been allotted seats in R-3/SVRI/SVR-II and who did not comply with the AACCC-UG Counselling scheme and withdraw their seats beyond the period mentioned for each round as per the counselling scheme are ineligible to participate in AACCC/State/UT/Central pool Quota-UG Counselling. The list of such candidates will be circulated to all State/UT Counselling authorities/ National Institutes/Central Universities/Deemed Universities to prohibit them from participating in further Ayush-UG Counselling.

Q. No.76. When will the AACCC, M/o Ayush, publish the list of ineligible candidates for further Ayush-UG Counselling (Central/State/UT/Central pool quota)?

Ans: AACCC, M/o Ayush will publish the list of ineligible candidates at the following level:

· On the date of the announcement of the R-3 final result.

· On the date of the announcement of the SVR-I final result.

· On the date of the announcement of the SVR-II final result. Further, the Ministry will direct the State/UT counselling authorities to prohibit the ineligible candidates from participating in the Ayush-UG counselling for the A.Y 2024-25
