BFUHS Invites Applications For Masters in Emergency Medicine course, Check out all details

Faridkot: Applications are invited from aspiring candidates who want to pursue Post Graduate Masters in Emergency Medicine (MEM) by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS). The course will be held at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot.

The last date to submit the online application and fee is 27th July 2022, 5:00 pm. The candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 5000 for the general category and Rs 2500 for SC/BC during application submission. The application form can be downloaded from www.bfuhs.ac.in.

The merit list will be displayed on 28th July 2022. The 1st round of counselling will be conducted on 29th July 2022. The medical and joining of 1st round will happen on 30th July 2022. 2nd round of counselling will be held on 31st July 2022. The medical and joining of the 2nd round will happen on 1st August 2022.

BFUHS has notified that no new applications will be invited for 2nd round. Seats will be allotted solely based on the NEET PG 2022 result, irrespective of the state from which the candidate has passed the MBBS Course. There is no age limit to joining the course.

If a candidate leaves the course before the conduct of 2nd round of counseling, the full fee will be refunded. However, if a candidate leaves the seat after the second round of counseling, the fee will not be refunded, and the candidate has to deposit the full course fee of 3 years. The selected candidates must deposit Indemnity/Liability Insurance of Rs. 5000000 for the duration of the entire course within seven days of joining.

If any reserved category seat remains vacant during the second round of counseling, it will be converted to General Category. The schedule castes and backward class candidates have to submit domicile from the State of Punjab irrespective of the University/College from where they have graduated. The persons with a physical disability will have no such restrictions.

A total of 10 seats are there for programs. The course fee is Rs 2.5 Lacs per annum. The admitted candidates will get a stipend of Rs 30000 per month.

Guru Gobind Singh Medical College is a government school of medicine located in Faridkot, Punjab. The first batch came to GGS Medical College Faridkot in 1973 for the MBBS course. Since then, this medical College has trained over 100 doctors each year.
