BFUHS MBBS, BDS admissions: Online Application Process Begins, Apply Till 13 October 2022

Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has invited online applications for MBBS and BDS courses for 2022-23.

Important dates –

Last date for applying online Admission Application Form through University Website – 13th October 2022

Last date for depositing fees of Rs. 5900 (5000+900(@18%GST)) & (Rs. 2950 (2500+450(@18%GST)) for SC candidates) through the Online payment gateway – 13th October 2022

Sports Category Candidates will submit printed/hard copies of the online submitted form personally (by hand) to the University along with a Sports Gradation Certificate issued by the Director, Sports, Punjab, and other supporting self-attested copies of certificates/documents – 14th October 2022, 5:00 pm.

Schedule/Detail for Verification of documents and checking eligibility – 17th October 2022. 10:00 am

Verification for eligibility of Minority Candidates for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses, session 2022 will be conducted at the following venue between 15th October 2022 – 17th October 2022

1. Sikh Minority- At SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Amritsar

2. Christian Minority- At Christian Medical College, Ludhiana

Display of Provisional Merit List of candidates – 19th October 2022

Last date for submission of objections in Provisional Merit List (if any) by the NEET UG aspirants. Note: Objections can be submitted only by personal appearance/visit along with relevant documents/records in Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot – 20th October 2022, 5:00 pm

Final Display of Provisional Merit List – 21st October 2022

Last date for submitting the physical application form for the NRI quota (Application form for Eligibility certificate and admission application form for NRI candidates is separately available on the University website, i.e., www.bfuhs.ac.in – 17th October 2022

The process to submit the online application –

1. When the Candidate clicks the link "Click here to apply admission application form for admission to MBBS/BDS Course under NEET UG-2022" on the homepage of the University website, i.e., www.bfuhs.ac.in, will appear.

2. Candidates will log in through their registration "id" by entering the "Reg. No." and "Password" in the window and clicking on the "Submit" ico,n as shown in the window displayed above.

3. After careful reading of the instructions, the Candidate shall tick the box displayed in front of the option written in red color below "I have read and understood all the instructions" and then click on "Continue."

4. On logging in through the registration id, the dashboard for the candidates shall appear.

5. Candidates can check the seat matrix by clicking on the "Colleges/Seat Matrix" icon at the top panel.

6. Candidate will fill out their admission application form by clicking on the icon "Fill/Edit Admission Form (Step-I).

7. After filling out the admission application form (Step-I) Candidate will click on the green icon, i.e., "Accept Declaration and Continue to Choice filling."

8. Candidate shall carefully read the options/choices in Step II (as displayed in the window at ImageVI). After filling in the course name "MBBS or BDS" followed by the "Category and Quota," the Candidate desires to apply. Candidate shall now click on the "Select Choice" icon. After filling in the choices in order of preference, the Candidate shall save the choices by clicking on the "Save Choices" option.

9. Window with the preview of choices filled by the Candidate shall appear as per the preferences of colleges in the concerned course/category/quota.

10. The choice filled in the above image is only for demonstration purposes. The candidates are advised to fill in choices of college(s)/category/quota per their preference.

11. Candidate will click on the "Dashboard" icon and check whether Step I, II & III has completed or not. If yes, Step I will be displayed as "Complete," Step 2 will be displayed as "Filled," and Step 3 as "Complete." The Candidate can log out once satiCandidatet all 3 steps have been completed.

Application fee –

1. Admission Application Fee of Rs. 5900 (Rs.2950 for SC candidates), including GST @18%, will be deposited through the online payment gateway only.

2. Admission Application Fee will not be accepted in any form after the due date/time in any case.

3. Only those Admission Application Forms will be considered for counselling, the fee for which has been deposited by the due date/time.

4. No request for accepting the Admission Application Forms after the due date/time will be entertained.

5. Mere deposition of the fee will not entitle the Candidate to claiCandidatession.

6. Fee, once deposited in University Account, will not be refunded/adjusted in any case.

Instructions for NRI Candidates only -Candidates who want to apply under NRI quota seats have to obtain a provisional Eligibility/equivalency certificate from BFUHS, Faridkot, and will have to qualify for NEET-UG-2022 and candidates will apply on prescribed proforma available on the website along with the prescribed fee for seats under NRI Quota.

Eligibility criteria –

1. The admission to MBBS/BDS Courses shall be open to candidates who have qualified NEET-UG- 2022 and are eligible as per Punjab Govt. notifications and subsequent amendment(s)/corrigendum(s) and as well as Punjab Govt. Personnel Department letter dated 06.06.1996.

2. Merely applying for admission to MBBS/BDS courses based on NEET-UG-2022 will not entitle the Candidate's eligiCandidate'sThe Admission Committee will determine a Merit of a candidate for admission strictly per rules and regulations laid down by the Punjab Govt. Therefore, notification (s) published in this prospectus and other documents are required with the ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM.

3. The Admission Committee shall conduct counseling/Admissions constituted by the Punjab Government for this purpose.

4. Age: As specified in NEET-UG 2022.

3. Document Verification of certain categories

4. Display of Category Wise Provisional Merit List on the University website

5. Filling online submission of course preferences/choices of colleges

6. Provisional allotment of seat

7. Deposition of Tuition Fees through an Online Payment Gateway on the University website

8. Reporting to the allotted college for verification of original document and eligibility followed by Medical Examination

9. If found eligible, the Principal shall allow joining

Schedule for 1st round of online counseling –

1. Choice filling for 1st Round of Online Counselling – 22nd October 2022 – 27th October 2022, 11:59 pm

2. Processing of Seat Allotment – 28th October 2022 – 31st October 2022

3. Display of Result – 2nd November 2022

4. Last date for submission of objections in Provisional Allotment List (if any) by the NEET UG aspirants. Note: Objections can be submitted only by personal appearance/visit along with relevant documents/records in Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot – 3rd November 2022, 12:00 pm

5. In case there is any change in provisional allotment after considering objections, the same will be displayed through the University website on - 3rd November 2022

6. Reporting by candidates to the respective provisionally allotted colleges and deposition of six months tuition fee through University Payment Gateway available on the University website in Student Login – 7th November 2022, 5:00 pm
