Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) informed about the seat vacant at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, for the NEET UG mop-up round.

As per the notice, NRI Quota seats at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, have already been filled during Round I and Round II online counseling. Consequently, all candidates have joined their provisionally allotted seats. Therefore, no vacant seat remains under NRI Quota at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana.

Now only two seats are vacant at the college for the NEET UG mop-up round. Open quota AIQ has 1 seat, and Minority Quota_2A to 2G has 1 seat left vacant.

Eligibility for mop-up round of counseling –

1. The candidates who have resigned/surrendered the allotted seat of 1stonline Counseling with free exit up to 15.11.2022 and do not hold any seat of Round I and Round II.

2. The candidates who have not joined the allotted seat (fresh/upgraded) of Round II counseling can apply afresh for the mop up round.

3. The candidates who are already registered but have not been allotted seats in Rounds I and II need not register again. However, they will have to submit Willingness along with the requisite amount (equivalent to penalty) and will have to submit Choices/preferences of Course/College/Quota as per schedule.

The Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, is an educational and research institution of an all India character established and run by the minority Christian community. Its primary aim is to educate and train Christian men and women as health professionals in the spirit of Jesus Christ for the healing ministry of the Church in India. However, like many other Christian educational institutions, this college also offers educational facilities to other young men and women irrespective of religion, caste, and community.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
