BFUHS notifies revised round 3 NEET PG counselling schedule, details

Faridkot The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has released the remaining schedule for the Punjab State 3rd Round PG Counselling under NEET PG 2025, in continuation of earlier notices and in line with the revised counselling schedule issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

 The update follows the lowering of the qualifying percentile for NEET PG-2025 as notified by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) on 13 January 2026.

The fresh online registration/applications alongwith fee of Rs. 5900/- (Rs. 2950/- for SC/BC) including GST through university payment portal are invited through University website as per National Board of Examinations notice dated 13.01.2026 vide which the qualifying percentile for admission under NEET PG -2025 is lowered/revised as under :

General Category (UR/EWS) 50 Percentile 276 7th Percentile 103
PWD 45 Percentile 255 5th Percentile 90
SC/BC 40 Percentile 235 0th Percentile -40
(Fresh registered candidates will have to submit willingness alongwith security deposit for 3rd round online counselling)

 The last date for submitting willingness alongwith security deposit for 3rd round of counseling by all the candidates and fresh applicants). The amount of security to be deposited for submitting willingness will be as under:

For Government colleges- Rs. 25000/- (Rs. 10000/-for SC/BC/PwD)

For Private Colleges- Rs. 2,00000/-

 Last date of correction/editing in online filled application form. Therefore application will be locked automatically. Once information filled and locked will not be allowed to change in any round of counseling.

Note: Since, fresh applications are invited for 3rd round of online counseling under NEET PG 2025, hence already registered candidates of 1st and 2nd round counseling (if any) who intends to edit any Category/Minority Quota/other particulars will give request/application personally in the Admission Branch, BFUHS upto 22.01.2026 by 5.00 PM alongwith relevant proof for consideration in 3rd round of online counseling as last chance. No request shall be entertained through email. Thereafter no request will be entertained. 

Last date for submission of hard copy of admission application form at University office for NRI quota seats. Candidates seeking admission under NRI quota are required to obtain Eligibility Certificate from the University prior to apply. (Application form for obtaining Eligibility certificate and admission application form are separately available on University website.) - Till 22.01.2026 upto 5.00 PM .

The candidates who will apply under Sikh Minority/Christian Minority Quota will report to the respective minority institution (SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences, Amritsar/ Christian Medical College, Ludhiana) for verification of minority status. The candidates who have already/got verified their minority status at the time of 1st /2nd counseling, need not report to the respective institute for verify again. The candidates, who have already registered under Minority Quota during 1st /2nd counseling and did not get their minority status verified, can report to the respective institute for verification of their minority status for 3rd round of counseling on 23.01.2026 upto 4.00 PM. 

PCMS incentive category candidates will submit hard copy of online Admission Application Form alongwith self attested copies of certificates, NOC and Eligibility Certificate issued by the Competent authority and proof of fee remittance by hand in Admission branch, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

The in service candidates who have submitted NOC during 1st and 2nd round need not to submit NOC again on 23.01.2026 upto 5.00 PM

Display of Provisional Merit List of candidates who will submit willingness to participate in 3rd round of online counseling on 27.01.2026

Last date for submission of objections by applicants in Provisional Merit List (if any) by the NEET PG aspirants through email till 28.01.2026.

The candidates who have joined the allotted seats of Round-I and Round-II in the State of Punjab are allowed to surrender the seat upto 30.01.2026 by 04.00 PM with Security forfeiture. The interested candidate will have to submit application of surrendering the seat to the Principal of concerned college to enable him to surrender the seat on the online portal so that vacancy for Round-3 will get updated on 30.01.2026 upto 5.00 PM

 The vacancy position will be updated in the online portal; hence candidates are advised to fill/review preferences/choices as per automatically revised vacancy.

 Dates for filling/submitting online choices/preferences of college/specialty through online portal on 27.01.2026 to 31.01.2026.

Processing of seat allotment date is 06.02.2026.

 Last date/time for submission of objections to provisional allotment (if any) by the NEET PG aspirants through email (pgbfuhs@ggsmch.org). 07.02.2026 upto 2.00 PM.

Display of revised provisional allotment/result after any change in provisional allotment due to objections (if any) and after weeding out All India Quota Joined candidates upto round 3 on 09.02.2026.

 The provisionally selected candidates will pay the balance amount of fee (Six month fee after deducting amount of security deposit ) through university payment gateway available on University website and will report to the respective college for joining in the respective allotted college. Dates 10.02.2026 to 13.02.2026 upto 4.00 PM.
