BFUHS releases Round 3 NEET Counselling schedule for MBBS, BDS Admissions 2023, details

Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has released the schedule for 3rd round of UG Medical and Dental online counselling under NEET UG-2023.

The candidates can carry out fresh online registration and deposition of application and security deposit till 08.09.2023 (up to 05:00 pm). (Fresh registered candidates will have to submit willingness along with a security deposit for 3rd online counselling, failing which their candidature will not be considered. The candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs. 5000+18%GST (Rs. 5900/-) and Rs. 2500+18%GST (Rs. 2950 for SC candidates) through the university payment portal.

The candidate who has not joined/resigned from the allotted seat of Round 2, will have to register afresh for the 3rd round and will also deposit the security amount again.

Sports Category Candidates will submit printed/hard copies of the online submitted form personally (by hand) in the University along with a Sports Gradation Certificate issued by the Director, Sports, Punjab and other supporting self-attested copies of certificates/documents. They can submit till 08.09.2023 (up to 03:00 PM).

The last date for submitting willingness along with a security deposit for 2nd round of counselling by all the candidates (already registered candidates and fresh applicants) is 08.09.2023.

The amount of security to be deposited for submitting willingness will be as under –

1. For Government colleges - Rs. 10000/- (half for SC/BC)

2. For both Govt. & Private Colleges – Rs. 100000

3. For Private Colleges – Rs. 100000

If any candidate wants to change his/her willingness from Govt. Colleges only to Private & Govt. Colleges/Private Colleges only –

The candidate has to deposit the remaining security amount i.e. Rs 90000/- through the online payment gateway of the University.

Already registered candidates who have deposited the security amount in 2nd round counseling and to whom no seat is allotted in 2nd Round, need not deposit the security amount again. However, they will have to submit their willingness to participate in the 3rd Round, through the online payment gateway of the University.

The live vacant seat matrix will be displayed on the Student Login ID. The last date of correction/editing in the online filled application form is 08.09.2023. Thereafter application will be locked automatically. Once information is filled and locked, it will not be allowed to change in any round of counseling. The last date for submitting the admission application form for the NRI quota is 08.09.2023. Application form for getting the eligibility certificate and admission application form for NRI candidates is separately available on the University website.

The candidates who will apply under the Sikh Minority/Christian Minority Quota will report to the respective minority institution (SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences, Amritsar / Christian Minority College, Ludhiana) for verification of minority status. The candidates who have already got verified their minority status at the time of 1st & the 2nd counselling, need not report to the respective institute for verification. The candidates who have already registered under Minority Quota during the 1st & 2nd counseling and did not get their minority status verified can report to the respective institute to verify their minority status for the 3rd round of counseling from 09.09.2023 to 10.09.2023.

The merit list will be displayed up to 13.09.2023. Candidates who will submit willingness for the 3rd round, including NRI candidates, will fill/submit the online choices/ preferences of college/Course/Quota/Category. The online choices can be filled from 13.09.2023 to 15.09.2023. The processing of seat allotment will be done from 16.09.2023 to 17.09.2023.

The provisional allotment results will be displayed on 20.09.2023. The last date/time of submission of objections to the provisional allotment (if any) by the NEET UG aspirants is 21.09.2023 (up to 02:00 PM). Objections can be submitted only by personal appearance/visit along with relevant documents/records in the Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot.

Display of revised provisional allotment/result after any change in provisional allotment due to objections (if any) will be done on 21.09.2023. The provisionally selected candidates will pay the balance amount of the fee (A six-month fee after deducting the amount of the security deposit) through the university payment gateway available on the university website. They will report to the respective college to join the respective allotted college. The joining process can be carried out from 22.09.2023 to 23.09.2023.

Sports Category-

Credit shall be given for the sports achievements made during session 2019-20 to 2022-23, and admission shall be made on the basis of inter-se merit of the candidates determined on the basis of gradation (Category A/B/C) issued by the Director of Sports, Punjab. The candidates who will apply under the Sports Category will submit the hard copy of the online applied application along with the sports gradation certificate issued by the sports department and relevant proofs of sports achievement as per the corrigendum up to 08.09.2023(till 03:00 PM) personally in Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot, failing which their candidature will not be considered under Sports Category Merit.

Eligibility for 3rd Round of Counseling –

The candidates who can apply afresh for 3rd Round of counseling (These candidates have to pay the registration fee and security amount at the time of submission of willingness as per rules) –

1. The candidates who will register/apply for the first time

2. The candidates who have not joined the allotted seat (fresh/upgraded) of Round II counseling can apply afresh for 3rd Round, and they will have to deposit the security amount again for submitting willingness and choices/preferences of Course/College/Quota as per schedule

The candidates who need not apply afresh for 3rd Round of counseling –

1. The candidates who are already registered but have not been allotted any seat in Rounds I and II need not register/apply again.

2. The candidates who have resigned/surrendered the allotted seat of 1stonline Counseling with free exit up to 30.08.2023 and do not hold any seat of Round-I. However, they will have to submit Willingness along with the requisite amount of security (equivalent to penalty) and will submit Choices/preferences of Course/College/Quota as per the schedule.

The candidates who are eligible for 3rd Round of counseling -

Candidates eligible for seat allotment in 3rd Round would be from one of the following groups –

1. Group–I: Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotment in Round 1 or Round 2.

2. Group-II: Registered candidates who have secured a seat & whose 2nd round allotted seat got canceled during the document verification on reporting for admission will be considered for allotment of seat in the next round of seat allotment, with changed Category, subject to availability of seat in the respective category.

3. Group–III: Candidates who have reported at the allotted institute during 2nd round of allotment and submitted willingness for the third round for up-gradation.

4. Group- IV: Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 2 but did not join or resign and exited after forfeiture of fees.

The candidates who are not eligible for 3rd Round of allotment –

1. Candidate who has become non-eligible due to having inadequate documents as per Eligibility Criteria

2. Candidate who has not registered in Round 1 or Round 2 or Round 3
