BFUHS Revises NEET 2025 Punjab State Round 2 Counselling Schedule, details
Punjab- After the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the schedule for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has modified the dates for 2nd round of MBBS and BDS Punjab State online counselling.
As per the revised schedule, the 2nd round of NEET UG 2025 is now starting today, i.e. 02nd September 2025 and will end on 25 September 2025.
Below is the schedule-

The amount of security to be deposited for submitting willingness will be as under- 1 For Government colleges only- Rs. 10000/- (5000/- for SC/BC/PwD). 2 For Private Colleges- Rs. 2,00,000/-. 3 For both Government & Private Colleges- Rs. 2,00,000/- | 02 to 04 September 2025 upto 05.00 PM |
2 | Revised date for submitting the admission application form for NRI quota physically in the University (Application form for getting the Eligibility certificate and admission application form for NRI candidates is separately available on the University website) | 04 September 2025 (upto 05:00 PM) |
3 | Display of Provisional Merit List of candidates who will submit their willingness to participate in the 2nd round of online counselling. | 05 September 2025 |
4 | The last date/time of submission of objections to the provisional merit list (if any) by the NEET UG aspirants. | 06 September 2025 (upto 03:00 PM) |
5 | In case there is a change in the Provisional Merit List after considering objections, the same will be displayed on the University website | 08 September 2025 |
6 | Dates for filling/submitting online choices/ preferences of course/college/quota/category through the online portal. | 09 to 12 September 2025 (upto 05:00 PM) |
7 | Processing of seat allotment. | 13 September 2025 to 15 September 2025 |
8 | Display of provisional allotment / Result. | 17 September 2025 |
9 | The last date/time of submission of objections to provisional allotment (if any) by the NEET UG aspirants. | 18 September 2025 (upto 04.00 PM) |
10 | In case there is a change in the Provisional allotment after considering objections, the same will be displayed on the University website. | 19 September 2025 |
11 | The provisionally selected candidates will pay the balance amount of the fee (six-month fee after deducting the amount of the security deposit) through the university payment gateway available on the university website and will report to the respective college for joining the respective allotted college. | 20 to 25 September 2025 (upto 05:00 PM) |

Meanwhile, through a notice, it has been informed to all the candidates of Medical/Dental Colleges in the State of Punjab who have joined the provisionally allotted seat in Round-I and wish to resign/surrender the seat, are allowed to surrender the seat upto 08 September 2025, upto 02:00 PM with free exit. The interested candidate will have to submit an application to surrender the seat to the Principal of the concerned college to enable him to surrender the seat on the online portal so that the vacancy for Round-2 will get updated automatically; otherwise, the candidate will be considered as joined
