BOPEE informs on Second Round of Up-Gradation, Allotment Counselling for Post Basic BSc Nursing Courses

Srinagar: Through a recent notice, the BOPEE has informed about the Conduct of Second Round of Up-Gradation/ Allotment Counselling (Physical) for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Courses-2022.
Consequent upon completion of first round of physical counselling held on 19-09-2022 to 20-09-2022 for filling-up of seats, it is hereby notified that Board shall conduct second round of physical counselling for filling up of 162 seats that remained vacant due to non-joining of candidates and was received as shortfall from various Colleges/ Institutions as per the following schedule at BOPEE Office, Srinagar/ Jammu simultaneously:

The candidates desirous of participating in the counselling process are advised to report at BOPEE Office, Srinagar/ Jammu for attendance/ registration between 8.30 am to 10.00 am on the prescribed dates for being eligible to participate in the counselling at their own turn/ rank.
As per the Circular referred above, issued by President J&K Paramedical Council, Srinagar, only those candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent with GNM Course as per INC guidelines are eligible to take admission for Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing Courses. However, those candidates who do not possess such minimum qualification shall not be eligible to participate in any counselling process, even though their names figured in Provisional Merit List annexed as Annexure "A" to this Notification No. 052-BOPEE of 2022 dated 02-08-2022.
