Kerala- The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) has reopened the application submission facility after lowering of the minimum qualifying percentile. Recently, the minimum qualifying percentile of National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 has been reduced to 15 percentile in General Category/EWS and 10 percentile and above in SC/ST/OBC/PWD category to be eligible to participate in counselling.

In this regard, to enable the newly qualified candidates to participate in the remaining stages of the allotment process, CEE has reopened the facility of online application submission for PG Medical-2024 courses in Government, Self-financed Medical Colleges and Regional Cancer Centre in Kerala till 08 January 2025, 03:00 PM. However, as per the official notification in this regard, in this phase of online application submission, only those candidates will be able to submit the application who have qualified afresh as per the revised eligibility criteria.

Therefore, candidates can avail of the application submission facility through the link ‘PG Medical 2024 – Reopening of Online Application’ on the official website of CEE. Along with this, candidates have to submit the application online and upload the required documents within the deadline.

Meanwhile, candidates submitting fresh applications with any community reservation claim and with a percentile not lower than the 40 percentile but lower than the 50 percentile, and candidates submitting fresh applications in the PwD category with a percentile not lower than the 45 percentile but lower than the 50 percentile will be considered as General Category Candidates only, even if they submit the required certificates and documents in proof of their claim.

Moreover, those candidates who are eligible for any reservation (including the claims for Minority or NRI quota in self-financing Medical Colleges) or fee concession should upload the required certificates from the authorities concerned and all other valid and relevant documents in support of the claim.

Newly qualified candidates, who find a place in the rank list, can participate in the third phase allotment subject to the condition that none of the allotments/admissions carried out in the previous allotments is disturbed.
