CEE Kerala To End Stray Vacancy Round Option Registration Process For DNB Post MBBS Courses 2024 Tomorrow
Kerala- The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala is going to end the online vacancy allotment for vacant seats in DNB (Post MBBS) courses for the academic year 2024. This allotment will be conducted to fill the currently available vacant seats and vacancies arising, if any. However, the total number of vacant seats due to the Unallotted/non-joining in the third phase has already been published on the official website of CEE Kerala.
According to the official notification issued in this regard, eligible candidates included in the Kerala State Merit List published by CEE, Kerala can complete the registration process of their options through the official website of CEE till tomorrow i.e. 21st February 2025, 3.00 PM. Below is the tentative schedule for the online vacancy allotment for vacant seats in DNB (Post MBBS) courses for the academic year 2024.

5 | All candidates who get an allotment should join the course and college to which they are allotted along with the required documents and pay the fee at the colleges. | 23 to 25 February 2025, 3.00 PM |
6 | Admitting authorities shall have to approve and submit the list of admitted candidates to the CEE through the OAMS. | 25 February 2025, 4.00 PM |
Meanwhile, it is to be noted that fresh option registration is mandatory for participating in the Stray vacancy filling phase allotment. Although, the options registered in the previous phases will not be considered for allotment in the Stray vacancy-filling phases.
STEPS TO REGISTER
STEP 1- Visit the official website of CEE.
STEP 2- Go to the link ‘DNB (Post MBBS) 2024 Candidate Portal’.
STEP 3- Enter your Application Number & Password.
STEP 4- Click on the menu ‘Stray Vacancy - Option Registration’.
The allotment will be based on the merit list and the online options received till tomorrow. Therefore, candidates who will get the allotment will have to take admission to the allotted colleges by paying the fees at the allotted institute. However, if any candidate does not join the seat allotted in the Stray vacancy-filling phase such candidates will be liable to pay liquidated damages.
Meanwhile, candidates who joined the allotted seats through the allotments (First, Second or Third phases) conducted by CEE and still continuing in the allotted seat are not eligible for participating in the stray vacancy filling. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the third phase are also not eligible to participate in the stray vacancy filling.
VACANT SEAT POSITIONS
Apart from this, CEE Kerala has also released the list of vacant seats for DNB (POST MBBS) 2024. As per the list, a total of 4 seats are vacant in 3 medical colleges of Kerala. Out of these, 1 seat each is vacant in Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) and Government General Hospital and 2 seats are vacant in District Hospital.
