Odisha: The common allotment list of candidates (direct) after the round of counselling schedule released for NEET PG, the Director of Medical Education & Training (DMET) announced this through a written notice.

The list consists of Appl No, Name of Candidate, Res CAT, Type, CMR/UR, Allotted College, Course, Allotted Subject, and Allotted CAT.

A direct candidate is one who, at the time of application, is either unemployed or underemployment by the Government of Odisha/ Govt. of Odisha Public Sector Undertakings/ Govt. of India Public Sector Undertakings located in Odisha/ Defence services located in Odisha but not completed 3 years of service which includes all categories of employment like contractual/ temporary/ adhoc/ regular by 31st March of the current year of admission.

Eligibility -

To be eligible, a candidate must have passed MBBS from any MCI/NMC recognized institution/equivalent and must have the following criteria -

1. A candidate must be a permanent resident of Odisha. OR A candidate of outside state but passed MBBS from any Govt Medical College of Odisha, who was admitted under 15 % All India Quota seats.

2. Must have qualified in NEET PG of the current year, securing the qualifying marks as prescribed by MCI/NMC

3. Must have completed one year of Compulsory Rotatory Internship /Houseman ship by 31st March of the current year of admission.

4. Must have registered themself under the State/ Central Council of Medical Registration.

5. Candidates who have completed or undergoing a PG (Medical) Course in any subject shall not be eligible to participate in PG Medical Counselling in any Govt. Medical Colleges of the State. However, they may be allowed to prosecute their PG study in any private Medical College subject to the condition that the entire cost of the study will be borne by the candidate & Govt. they will not bear any cost of the PG study. In case a candidate is continuing the PG study and wants to take fresh admission, they are to comply with the terms and conditions of the bond. Leave as due may be admissible for prosecuting the said PG study for candidates in regular Govt. Service.

Directorate of Medical Education & Training (DMET) Odisha was established as Head of Department in 1975, like other Heads of Department in the State. The aims and of the organization are to improve Education" in the field of Medical Science and impart training to medical personnel in the state, which involves undergraduate, post Graduate medical students, Training of paramedical & Nursing Personnel(both in Degree & diploma) and other related health programs.
