CPS NEET PG Admissions Online Choice Filling Begins, Details

Mumbai: NEET-PG online choice filling for CPS PG medical admissions has begun, announced the College of Physicians & Surgeons (CPS).

Candidates need to use the link https://smbform.in/PREF_PG_CPS_2021/ for choice filling.

While filing the choices, candidates will have to suffix S (State quota), M (Merit quota seats in Private Institutions Hospitals), and I (Institutional quota in Private Institutions Hospitals.

The 1st selection list will be declared on 28th May 2022 and the joining period for the 1st round is 30th May 2022 – 4th June 2022, up to 05.00 pm.

The provisional merit list has been released and prepared based on the details filled by the candidates during the registration process. For more details related to the course, the candidate can check the information brochure published on the website on 24th March 2022.

1028 seats are available this academic session for NEET-PG admissions. State Government/Corporation Colleges and Local bodies Institutions have been allotted 232 seats, and Private Institutes (Unaided) have been allocated 796 seats. The detailed seat matrix was published on the website on 23rd May 2022. The seat position is subject to change as per information from State Government/CPS. Allotment of the above seats is subject to CPS affiliation/availability of Post-Graduate teachers in respective courses.

Commissioner, Medical Education & Research, is the competent authority for admission to CPS fellowship and diploma courses by the Government of Maharashtra for 2021 - 2022. The admission will be based on NEET PG 2021 eligibility, including the lower down percentile.

College of Physicians & Surgeons of Mumbai, established in 1913, is an autonomous body imparting Postgraduate Medical Education and offers 10 Fellowships,17 Diplomas, and 2 Certificate Courses. The qualifications granted by CPS Mumbai allow the Practitioner to register themselves as specialists in the speciality concerned upon duly completing the tenure of 2 years Diploma or 3 years Fellowship and passing the exit examination prescribed.
