DME Chhattisgarh Informs on Allotment of Government Seat For NEET PG, NEET MDS Mop-Up Admission

Chhattisgarh: The Director of Medical Education (DME Chhattisgarh) informed about allotment details for government seats for NEET PG and NEET MDS mop-up round admission. The allotment list has also been released.

Detailed schedule –

PG Dental –

1. Last date for scrutiny (physical/offline mode) – 30th November 2022, 3:00 pm

2. Last date for admission (physical/offline mode) – 30th November 2022, 5:00 pm

PG Medical –

1. Last date for scrutiny (physical/offline mode) – 29th November 2022, 3:00 pm

2. Last date for admission (physical/offline mode) – 29th November 2022, 5:00 pm

As per the notice, the scrutiny process for PG Dental will be carried out at Government Dental College, Raipur. After the process of scrutiny, the admission process will be carried out. All the dental colleges are requested to send one representative to the place of scrutiny to complete the admission process. The stray vacancy round will be conducted at the college level.

For PG Medical, the admission process and scrutiny will be carried out at Raipur Institute of Medical Science, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Smriti Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya Raipur, and Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences Bhilai. All the medical colleges are requested to send one representative to the place of scrutiny to complete the admission process.

The allotment list has also been released. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.

Eligibility criteria –

1. Candidates must have qualified for NEET-PG /NEET MDS 2022.

2. Candidates must be citizens of India.

3. Candidates must have passed MBBS/BDS from a recognized medical/dental college.

NEET PG 2022/NEET MDS 2022 is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission to various MD/MS/PG Diploma/MDS courses of the 2022-23 admission session. No other entrance exam is considered for admission to the courses. Both exams are conducted once a year.

The Directorate of Medical Education conducts NEET MDS and NEET PG counseling. The admissions are based on NEET MDS and NEET PG 2022. The seat allotment is done based on the choices filled by candidates, reservation, state merit rank, NEET MDS/NEET PG 2022 marks, and other factors.

DME is the administrative body of Chhattisgarh and overlooks Medical Education in the State through Medical and Dental Colleges. It plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the health needs of the State. Research is another area of activity for the Medical Education Department.
