Chhattisgarh: The Director of Medical Education (DME Chhattisgarh) issued details related to NEET PG round 2 allotments. A revised allotment list has also been released.

Detailed schedule –

1. Scrutiny and admission starting date (physical/offline mode) – 1st November 2022

2. Last date for scrutiny (physical/offline mode) - 4th November 2022, till 11:59 pm

3. Last date for admission to allotted institute (physical/offline mode) – 5th November 2022

Candidates note that the registration fee will be forfeited if the seat is allotted to them after round 2 and they don't join the seat or cancel the seat after joining,

The admission process will be carried out at Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Raipur, Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences Bhilai, and Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Hospital.

The candidates should take the admission receipt after admission because, without the admission receipt, the admission will not be considered valid. The admission receipt can be issued till 11:59 pm on the last admission date.

The institutes are requested to follow the post-graduation entry rules of 2021 for scrutiny and admission.

The candidates should keep track of the official website for further counselling schedules. The counselling will be done through the Director of Medical Education only. Therefore, they should not take admission through any institute or person claiming admission.

All admissions shall be made based on the NEET-PG Exam conducted by NBE. NEET PG counselling 2022 is being undertaken through central centralized counselling based on the general combined merit list and the seat matrix and reservation roster.

Eligibility –

1. Candidates must have qualified for NEET-PG 2022.

2. Candidates must have the domicile of Chhattisgarh (Differ for Management/NRI/Other Quota)

3. Candidates must have passed MBBS from an NMC Recognized Medical College.

4. The candidates must have completed one year of Mandatory Internship on or before 31st July 2022.

NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses.

The Directorate of Medical Education is an administrative body of Chattisgarh. The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the state's health needs.
