DME Chhattisgarh Notifies on Stray Vacancy Round For PG Medical, PG Dental Admission

Chhattisgarh: The Director of Medical Education (DME Chhattisgarh) notified about stray vacancy round for PG Medical and PG Dental admission.

Detailed schedule –

Scrutiny – 1-12-2022 (3:00 pm – 5:00 pm) and 2-12-2022 (11:00 am to 5:00 pm)

The candidates note that the merit list issued through mail at 2nd December 2022, 11:59 pm will not be considered valid.

A total of 375 candidates are remaining in the merit list of NEET PG so the merit is being issued as admission rule 2021 (rule 11).

NEET PG - After the change of seats some seats are converted in SC/ST/UR Category or the seats converted to SC/ST/UR without grade conversation if such seats have been allotted in the mop up round but the candidates have not taken admission such seats are available in the reserved category. For such seats Chhattisgarh Admission Rule 2021 (Rule no 7 and 8) will have to be followed for allotment.

The stray vacancy round have to be completed at the institution level only.

Eligibility criteria –

1. Candidates must have qualified for NEET-PG /NEET MDS 2022.

2. Candidates must be citizens of India.

3. Candidates must have passed MBBS/BDS from a recognized medical/dental college.

NEET PG 2022/NEET MDS 2022 is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission to various MD/MS/PG Diploma/MDS courses of the 2022-23 admission session. No other entrance exam is considered for admission to the courses. Both exams are conducted once a year.

The Directorate of Medical Education conducts NEET MDS and NEET PG counseling. The admissions are based on NEET MDS and NEET PG 2022. The seat allotment is done based on the choices filled by candidates, reservation, state merit rank, NEET MDS/NEET PG 2022 marks, and other factors.

DME is the administrative body of Chhattisgarh and overlooks Medical Education in the State through Medical and Dental Colleges. It plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the health needs of the State. Research is another area of activity for the Medical Education Department.
