DME Gujarat Begins Round 1 Choice Filling for MBBS, BDS Admissions 2025, check details
Gujarat- The Director of Medical Education (DME) Gujarat has begun the 1st round online choice filling for all the eligible candidates who are included in the Merit List of ACPUGMEC, for admission of Government, Management and NRI Seats of MBBS and BDS courses in Government and Self-Financed Colleges for the academic year 2025-26.
As per the schedule issued by the DME Gujarat in this regard, the 1st round of online choice filling for the MBBS & BDS courses commenced will end on 08 August 2025. Following this, the Choices filled by candidates will be displayed on 08 August 2025 up to 04:00 pm.

Online allotment of seats is done on the basis of merit choice in institutes permitted by concerned council. Choice can be decided by candidate on following criteria-
1 Course of choice.
2 Government or Self-financed Institute.
3 Tuition fees.
4 Institute/Place of choice.
Candidates are instructed to fill all the available choices irrespective of institute’s status (permitted /recognized) so that during the process of allotment if any institute get permission, you can get admission in that seat.
Along with this, DME Gujarat has also released the tentative seat matrix for Dental Courses. As per the seat matrix, a total of 1266 seats are vacant across the Dental Colleges of Gujarat. Of these, 11 seats are vacant for PwD category candidates. Meanwhile, a total of 6,759 seats are vacant across Medical Colleges of Gujarat. Of these, 59 seats are vacant for PwD category candidates.
