DME Gujarat Informs on Admission Process, Rank Wise Results, Seats Left Vacant For MBBS, BDS Admission
Gujarat: All the admission procedures for the academic year 2022-23 of the medical faculty (MBBS) on 17.12.2022 and graduation course of dental faculty (BDS) on 18.12.2022 are declared complete, announced the Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat). The rank-wise result and details related to vacant seats have also been released.
As per the notice, the admission of the students admitted to the Graduate Course in Medical and Dental will not be canceled by the Admission Committee under any circumstances.
A total of 355 seats are left vacant after the completion of the admission process of the dental course after offering them to all the candidates included in the merit list of the admission committee here. Thus, these vacant seats are returned to the institution where admission is "not."
DME has announced that the vacant seats are now to be filled by all institutes themselves, based on the merit list of All India (NEET-UG-2022) based on the eligibility criteria set by the Dental Council of India and the Government of India. Every institute has to complete all the admission procedures transparently per the schedule of the Dental Council of India, New Delhi, and the Department of Health, Government of India.
