DME Gujarat to begin Admission Process For MD, MS, Diploma, CPS, MDS courses, Check out Eligibility, Documents Required

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has released the list of documents required and eligibility criteria for admission in MD/MS/Diploma/CPS & MDS courses for the academic year 2023-24.

Eligibility criteria –

1. The candidate must have completed the recognized MBBS or BDS course from a university established under any law of the Government of Gujarat and situated in the State of Gujarat.

2. The candidate must have completed the recognized MBBS or BDS course from a university established under any law of the Government of India and situated in any State / Union territory of India / Out of India subject to fulfilling the Eligibility criteria of NMC, New Delhi/ Govt. of India and must have passed 12th qualifying examination with “B- group” or “AB-group” either from (a) Gujarat Board OR (b) from Central Board of Secondary Education/ The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination Board/ The International School Board (International Baccalaureate and Cambridge)/ The National Institute of Open Schooling provided that school is located in the state of Gujarat and must be born in Gujarat state/ be the Domicile of Gujarat state.

3. The candidate must have completed a compulsory rotating internship on or before Dt. 11th August 2023.

List of documents required for the admission process –

1. All years MBBS/ BDS attempt wise Marksheets

2. Copy of NEET-PG Marksheet of the current academic year

3. Internship completion certificate on or before Dt.11/08/2023

4. Provisional Registration of State Medical / Dental Council OR Medical / Dental Council of India (In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/Permanent Registration of State Medical/ Dental Council OR Medical / Dental Council of India (In case of old pass out candidates)

5. Document showing Date & Place of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate)

6. For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

7. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after Dt.01/04/2021

8. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after Dt.01/04/2021

9. For PwD Candidates: Disability Certificate issued by Competent Authority

10. . Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign

11. 12th Marksheet (For candidates who have done MBBS/BDS outside Gujarat)

12. Domicile certificate of Gujarat state: For candidates who have done MBBS/BDS outside Gujarat (only if birthplace is outside Gujarat)

The admission process for the above courses for this academic year to start soon. Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) regulates the admission of candidates to the professional MD/MS/Diploma & MDS degree courses and carries out the counselling process.
