DME Gujarat to end special stray round choice filling for 91 MBBS, BDS seats, check details

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME), Gujarat, has started the Choice filling process for the Special Stray Round for MBBS/BDS admissions 2025.

 According to the official website of DME Gujarat, the Choice filling process for the Special Stray Round for MBBS/BDS will end on 24 December 2025, 04:00 PM.

Additionally, the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Government of Gujarat, has released the updated list of vacant undergraduate medical and dental seats for the academic year 2025-26.

According to the vacant list, a total of 91 seats remain vacant across MBBS and BDS courses in government and self-financed medical and dental colleges in the state. Of these, a total of 58 seats are vacant in the Medical and a total of 33 seats are vacant in the Dental. The vacancy list has been released on the official website of DME Gujarat. Therefore, candidates can view and download the same from there. 

Most of the vacant seats are under the Management Quota, with a smaller number under the Government Quota. One seat is also vacant under the ST category in a government quota institution.

Apart from this, the ACPUGMEC, Government of Gujarat, has also published the eligible candidate list for participation in the Special Stray Vacancy Round for undergraduate medical admissions for the academic year 2025-26.

The list comprises candidates who have paid the required security deposit and are therefore eligible to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round counselling for the remaining vacant seats. The notification includes detailed information such as User ID, Candidate Name, General Merit Rank, and Roll Number. According to the list, a total of 225 candidates' names are mentioned in the list.
