Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) announced the round 2 counselling schedule for MBBS and BDS admission.

Detailed schedule –

NRI Quota –

1. Registration/ Payment - 17-11-2022 02:00 pm - 19-11-2022 02:00 pm (All Eligible NRI candidates list)

2. Choice Filling & Locking - 20-11-2022 10:00 am - 22-11-2022 05:00 pm

3. Result - 24-11-2022

4. Downloading the Provisional Allotment Order/Reporting Time - From 25-11-2022 to 28-11-2022 05:00 pm

General instructions –

1. Management quota - Candidates participating in the online counselling for MBBS/BDS Degree Courses will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs. 1000 as a processing fee and a refundable security deposit of Rs. 100000 through an online Fvia Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. Candidates who are already paid their Processing fee and Security Deposit in the First Round of Online Counselling need not pay again.

2. No Processing Fee, security deposit, and Tuition Fee for 7.5% Spl. Reservation for Tamil Nadu Govt. School Students.

3. Candidates should be careful during choice filling, and it is advisable to choose preferred colleges only. The candidate could edit their Choice(s), but once they lock their choice during the online counselling, it cannot be changed later.

4. The candidates who wish to retain the College taken in the first round of online counselling need not participate in the second round of counselling.

5. Management quota - Minority Seats will be allotted for Eligible Minority Candidates as per Minority Merit List. If any unfilled Minority seats are in SF Page 3 of 5 MBBS/BDS, such seats will be filled as per General Management Rank List. Hence, all candidates can also register and choose a lock for Management and Minority Seats.

6. Government quota - SCA/ST Seats will be allotted for Eligible SCA/ST Candidates in the Merit List. If there are any unfilled SCA/ST seats in SF MBBS/BDS and IRT wards, the SC CANDIDATES will fill seats in the Merit List. Kindly note that candidates eligible for the SC category and Open and SC category seats could also register and choose a lock for SCA/ST seats in SF MBBS/BDS and IRT wards.

7. NRI Quota - If a candidate is getting/ retaining a seat in MBBS/BDS course in Government Quota of Round- II online counselling, They cannot claim a seat in Round- II of NRI counselling.

8. If the candidates opt out of any Medical/ Dental colleges in Round- 1 of Counselling, they cannot claim the seats in the medical/ dental colleges which were opted out during round- 1 of counselling for choice locking in Round- 2.  If a candidate is getting/ retaining a seat in MBBS/BDS course in Management Quota of Round- II online counselling, They cannot claim a seat in Round- II of NRI counselling.

9. If the candidates do not report to the Head of the Institution they are allotted on or before the time and date specified, their selection and admission will be cancelled without further notice.

10. The candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts, mis- interpretation is found at any time during or after the admission is to the course.

Available Seats For Round 2 -

1. Seats not allotted during Round 1

2. Seats vacant due to not joining / resignation by the candidate(s) allotted in round 1.

3. Seats available due to up-gradation of candidate(s), who have been allotted and joined during Round-1(Virtual Vacancy).

Eligible Candidates For Round 2 –

1. Candidates who registered and chose locked in Round 1 but did not get any seats.

2. Candidates who have joined an allotted medical/dental College during round 1 of allotment.

3. Candidates who have not joined the allotted seat during Round 1.

4. Candidates who have joined and resigned their seats in Round 1.

Not Eligible Candidates For Round 2 -

1. Candidates who have not registered in 1st round of online counselling.

2. Candidates whose names are in the joined list provided by MCC at the end of All India Round -2.

Instructions For Downloading Allotment Order -

1. Fee structure is available on the official website www.tnhealth,tn.gov.in and www.tnmedicalselection.org

2. The Selected candidate has to pay the Tuition Fee, as fixed by the Fee Committee, for downloading the Provisional allotment order online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking or RTGS.

3. The selected candidates who already paid the tuition fee in round –I of online counselling have to pay the difference (if any) amount only.

4. All candidates should ensure sufficient transaction limit is available for their fee payment before remitting their Payment.

5. The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.

2. NEET UG-2022 Admit and Scorecard

3. Std X Mark Sheet

4. Std XI & XII Mark Sheet

5. Transfer Certificate

6. Aadhar Card

7. Eligibility Certificate (Other than Central Board and State Board Candidates)

8. Minority Certificate (if any)

9. Passport Size Photo (10 Nos.)

10. Nativity Certificate (if any)

11. Income Certificate (if any)

12. Community Certificate (BC/BCM/MBC/DNC/ SC/SCA/ST) if applicable

NRI candidate's documents -

1. NRI status of the financial supporter issued by the Indian Embassy of the respective country under their seal or OCI card

2. Ward Certificate of Relationship between the NRI financial supporter and the candidate attested by Notary Public of the NRI country or Competent Authority, valid Indian Passport of the NRI financial supporter.

3. NRE (Non-Resident External) Bank Account Pass Book of the financial supporter.
