Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) announced the tentative revised round 2 counseling schedule (Government Quota (7.5% and 92.5%), Management Quota & NRI quota) for MBBS and BDS admission.

Detail schedule –

1. Choice Filling & Locking – till 23-11-2022 05:00 pm

2. Result - 25-11-2022

3. Downloading the Provisional Allotment Order & Reporting Time - From 25-11-2022 to 29-11-2022 05:00 pm

The Selected candidate has to pay the Tuition Fee, as fixed by the Fee Committee, for downloading the Provisional allotment order online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking or RTGS. The selected candidates who already paid the tuition fee in round 1 of online counseling only have to pay the difference (if any) amount.

If the candidates do not report to the Head of the Institution they are allotted on or before the time and date specified, their selection and admission will be canceled without further notice. The candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission is to the course.

Documents to be submitted –

1. Provisional allotment order

2. NEET UG-2022 Admit and Scorecard

3. Std X Mark Sheet

4. Std XI & XII Mark Sheet

5. Transfer Certificate

6. Aadhar Card

7. Eligibility Certificate (Other than Central Board and State Board Candidates)

8. Minority Certificate (if any)

9. Passport Size Photo (10 Nos.)

10. Nativity Certificate (if any)

11. Income Certificate (if any)

12. Community Certificate (BC/BCM/MBC/DNC/ SC/SCA/ST) if applicable

NRI candidate's documents -

1. NRI status of the financial supporter issued by the Indian Embassy of the respective country under their seal or OCI card

2. Ward Certificate of Relationship between the NRI financial supporter and the candidate attested by Notary Public of the NRI country or Competent Authority, valid Indian Passport of the NRI financial supporter.

3. NRE (Non-Resident External) Bank Account Pass Book of the financial supporter.

The Department of Medical Education plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the health needs of the State. The department also has a role to play in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centers with State of the art equipment and technology. Research is another area of activity for the Medical Education Department.
