DME Tamil Nadu Issues notice for Mop-Up Round NEET PG candidates

Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) issued details related to round 2 and the Mop-Up round for PG Degree/Diploma, DNB Course, and MDS course.

As per the notice, the candidates who have not joined after being allotted the course on completion of round 2 of online counseling are eligible for Mop-Up counseling for PG Degree/Diploma, DNB Course, and MDS course but will have to forfeit the processing fee, security deposit.

The candidates allotted to Mop-Up counseling must join the allotted seat compulsorily, and failure to join the course will result in the forfeiture of the processing fee and security deposit. And they will not be allowed to participate in the subsequent round of counseling.

Eligibility criteria –

NEET PG –

1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.

2. Candidate who has completed MBBS from an institution in the state and is a bona fide resident of Tamil Nadu.

3. Candidate who has completed MBBS from any institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

4. It is mandatory to complete a compulsory Rotatory Residential internship on or before 31st March 2022.

5. The candidate has to be NEET PG qualified.

NEET MDS –

1. The candidate must either be an Indian citizen.

2. The candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery or a provisional passing certificate in BDS from any Indian dental university/college recognized by the Government of India.

3. All candidates should have completed or been in the process of completing the one-year rotary internship or practical training on or before 31st March 2022.

4. The candidate has to be NEET MDS qualified.

DNB –

1. Candidates should be Citizens of India and have undergone an MBBS course, including a recognized institute's entire Compulsory Residential Rotatory Internship (CRRI) period.

2. The candidate has to be NEET PG qualified.

3. Candidates who have cleared their MBBS Examination and completed/completed the CRRI period on or before 31.05-2022 are only eligible to apply.
