Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) informed about NEET PG and NEET MDS counseling schedule for 2022-23.

As per the notice, the State Competent authority has decided to extend the Registration and Choice filling for Round-2 counseling for MD/MS and Diploma courses and DNB courses under the Government Medical Colleges / Government quota and Management quota (including NRI) in Self Financing Medical Colleges. The candidates can fill in the choices till 28th October 2022, 5:00 pm. They need to join on or before 2nd November 2022, 5:00 pm.

DME has further released the counseling schedule and details related to the counseling process for MDS admission.

Detailed schedule –

Government quota -

1. Registration/ Payment and Choice filling/locking – till 30th October 2022, 5:00 pm (From General Rank1 to 662)

2. Final result of Round II Allotment – 31st October 2022

3. Download of Provisional Allotment Order - 31st October 2022

4. Reporting Date and time – 31st October 2022 – 2nd November 2022, 5:00 pm

Management quota –

1. Registration/ Payment and Choice filling/locking – till 30th October 2022, 5:00 pm (FROM GR 001 TO GR 309)

2. Final result of Round II Allotment – 31st October 2022

3. Download of Provisional Allotment Order - 31st October 2022

4. Reporting Date and time – 31st October 2022 – 2nd November 2022, 5:00 pm

Processing fee –

Candidates participating in online counseling for the MDS course must remit a non-refundable amount of Rs 1000 as a processing fee online by using a Debit Card /Net Banking or Credit Card. However, the candidates who have already paid the processing fee need not pay again.

Security deposit for fresh registration –

Government quota –

1. Choice locking of seats in Government Dental Colleges alone – Rs.30000

2. Choice locking of seats in Government Dental Colleges and Government Quota seats in Self Financing Dental Colleges – Rs. 100000

3. If the candidate is upgraded from Self Financing Dental College to Government Dental College, the balance Security Deposit will be returned to their account after all the rounds of counseling is over.

Management quota –

1. Candidates should pay a Security Deposit of Rs.200000 online via net banking. The candidates who have already paid Security Deposit need not pay again.

Instructions –

2. Counselling is online mode only.

3. Don't share your login id, OTP, and password with others.

4. All candidates have to register to participate in this counseling.

5. The candidate should do fresh Choice filling and locking.

6. Candidates who wish to retain their seats in the first round of counseling need not participate in this counseling.

7. The candidates who have been allotted but not joined in All India Quota Round II are eligible to participate in this counseling.

8. Candidates who do not participate/have not joined in Round I counseling can also participate in this counseling.

9. Per the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in W.WP ) 267/2017 DAR-US-SLAM EDUCATIONAL TRUST and Ors. Vs. MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA and Ors. Dated 09-05-2017, the candidates who joined All India Quota Round II counseling are not allowed to vacate seats. Similarly, the candidates who joined Round II of State counseling will not be permitted to vacate/resign/surrender their hearts.

10. The candidates who have been admitted in the second round of allotment or carry the seat allotted in the first round beyond notified date, which is not upgraded in the second round, will not be permitted to vacate the seat

11. Government quota - Anticipated vacancies/virtual vacancies will be shown to all the candidates in order of merit by applying the rule of reservation/200 Point Roster method, whichever is applicable.

12. Management quota - Anticipated vacancies/virtual vacancies will be shown to all the candidates in the order of merit only.

13. If there are no eligible minority candidates in the management quota opting for PG Degree/Diploma courses, the same will be allotted for general category candidates.

14. Any remaining unfilled seats in the government quota for want of an adequate number of eligible candidates belonging to the SCA community shall be filled by candidates belonging to SCSCommunity as per merit and vice versa (G.GOMs.) No. 55, P & A R Dept. dated 08.04.2010). Hence SC candidates can register and choose a lock for SCA seats also.

15. Any remaining reserved seats in STSTuota in government quota for want of an adequate number of eligible candidates belonging to STSTommunity shall be allotted to candidates belonging to SCSCommunity as per merit (G.O. (Ms.) No. 77 H & FWFWept. dated 24.02.2011. Hence SC candidates can register and choose a lock for STSTeats also.

16. Any remaining unfilled seats in the BCM community in government quota for want of an adequate number of eligible candidates after exhausting the merit list shall be filled up on a merit basis by candidates belonging to BCBCommunity without exceeding the quota for BCBCommunity as a whole (G.GOMs.) No. 30 H & FWFWept. dated18.01.2012). Hence BC candidates can register and choose a lock for BCM seats also.

17. Candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of reporting to the concerned Dental College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission and responsible for criminal action if suppression of facts and misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

18. If the candidates are allotted a seat in Government Dental College, they can download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned College on or before the stipulated date and time mentioned in the allotment order.

19. If the candidates are allotted a Government Quota/ Management Quota seat in Self Financing Dental College, they should pay the tuition fee as fixed by the Fee Committee, download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned College on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the allotment order.

20. For Reported candidates in 1st round of counseling - Those willing for Re-allotment must register. Then their seat (allotted in 1st round of counseling) will be open for Choice filling in the Re-counselling of 2nd round.

21. For not reported candidates in 1st round of counseling – Their seat (allotted in 1st round of counseling) was considered vacant. Therefore, they cannot claim that seat (which was assigned in the first 1stround of counseling.

22. The selected candidates must pay the entire tuition, unique, and any other fees prescribed by "COMMITTEE ON FIXATION OF FEES IN RESPECT OF SELF FINANCING PROFESSIONAL COLLEGES" for the year 2022-2023 at the time of downloading the allotment order through online via RTGS.

23. The candidates allotted in this counseling should join the course.

24. The candidates who have been allotted and not joined in Round II should forfeit the Security Deposit and are not allowed to participate in further rounds of counseling.

Documents to be submitted at the time of joining –

2. NEET MDS 2022 Score Card.

3. NEET MDS 2022 Admit Card.

4. BDS Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate.

5. CRRI Completion Certificate.

6. Permanent Dental Registration Certificate issued by the Dental Council of India /State Dental Council or provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Dental Council of India/State Dental Council.

7. Community Certificate (if applicable)

8. TNPSC/MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order for service candidates.

9. Nativity Certificate/Residence Certificate from the Competent Revenue Authority (Whichever is applicable) with supportive documents as mentioned in the prospectus.

10. Eligibility Certificate, if applicable.

11. Post Card size color photograph (4"x6"),  the same photo that has been uploaded in NEET MDS 2022

For management quota, candidates who are seeking admission under Minority Category should produce the following documents along with the above original certificates –

1. Nativity certificate of the candidate

2. Community certificate of the parent (Not applicable for forwarding community)

3. Study certificate of the parent
