DME Tripura Releases Merit List For NEET Admissions

Tripura: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tripura) announced the provisional merit list for round 1 of the NEET UG counseling process. The revised provisional merit list with sub-categories was also released.

The revised merit list sub category wise comprises registered candidates of Round-1 of Tripura State NEET UG 2022 Counselling for All-State Quota domicile MBBS/BDS/BASLP seats at RIMS, Imphal, AMC, TM C and RDC Guwahati (Candidates marked as 'true' under domicile 'column) AND nondomicile 20 nos. of MEMS seats at TMC for All India Candidates other than Tripura domicile (Candidate marked as 'false' under domicile column) as prepared and sent from NIC, Tripura Unit, Agartala are furnished for information to all eligible candidates.

The Category of the Candidates is published per information submitted by the candidates. The respective Department/Committee shall ascertain the Eligibility and genuineness of a particular category before provisional allotment.

As per the notice, all allotments will be provisional. Final submission is subject to fulfillment of state and central/national medical council/medical council of India/Government of India guidelines.

Eligibility criteria –

1. The candidates must be Indian Citizens and Permanent residents of Tripura. The applicant or their parents must have been residing in the State of Tripura continuously for not less than ten years immediately before the application was made to appear at NEET¬UG. The applicant should not have applied for domicile (as per NEET Brochure) of any State other than Tripura.

2. Children of All India Services Officers borne in Tripura Cadre and the Children of the Employees of the State Government posted outside Tripura will be eligible to appear at the Counseling irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura.

3. In case the candidates are not permanent residents of Tripura, but their parent is either on deputation as an Officer/employee to the Govt. of Tripura or an Officer/employee of the Central Govt. working in Tripura and has served in Tripura continuously for three years or more before appearing in the qualifying examination from any School/Institute of Tripura.

4. In the case of wards of Ex-servicemen, either the candidate or their parents must have been staying in Tripura continuously for not less than five years immediately before the date of making the application for appearing at the NEET Examination. In addition, the candidate must have passed sed H.S(+2 stage) Examination in of NEET Examination from any School/Institute in India affiliated to a Board recognized by Govt. of India/Govt. of Tripura with subjects in which they desire to appear in the NEET.

5. Children of serving Defense Personnel (Army/Navy/Air Force) hailing from Tripura are also allowed to appear for Counseling, provided that their children should have stayed in Tripura continuously for not less than 5 (five) years immediately before the date of making application for appearing at the NEET Examination and that the candidate must have passed the H.S. (+2 stage) Examination from any Institution of Tripura with the subjects in which they desire to appear in the NEET.
