Tamil Nadu: Director of Medical Education (DME) has released the DNB- post MBBS, diploma 2 years DNB course candidate allotment lists and DNB board vacancy list.

DNB board vacancy list –
There is a total of 7 courses in 3 colleges. The courses include 1 DNB 2 years Diploma – Anaesthesiology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, and Paediatrics, Post Diploma – Paediatrics and Orthopaedic Surgery. The colleges include Govt. Head Quarters Hospital, Cuddalore, Govt. Head Quarters Hospital, Erode, and Govt. Head Quarters Hospital, Namakkal.
Govt. Head Quarters Hospital, Cuddalore, has a total of 6 vacancies and Govt. Head Quarters Hospital, Erode, and Govt. Head Quarters Hospital, Namakkal, has 1 vacancy each.

The admission will happen through online counselling for DNB broad speciality post MBBS and post-diploma and post MBBS two-year diploma courses based on rank and applying the Rule of Reservation / Roster method followed by the Government of Tamil Nadu wherever applicable.
The candidates who have not registered and choose locking in round 1 of online counselling will not be permitted to the subsequent rounds. Candidates who have taken a seat and not joined the course/ discontinued will not be eligible for the subsequent online counselling rounds.
Candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned medical college that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts misinterpretation is found during or after the admission to the course.
The provisional allotment order can be downloaded only after payment of tuition fees. The order must be downloaded on or before the date and time stipulated during the first phase of online counselling. The non-refundable tuition fee has to be paid online.
