DNB PDCET 2024: NBE gives Final Opportunity To Submit Deficient Documents
New Delhi- Candidates who have failed to submit the prescribed documents in support of the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria for DNB-PDCET 2024 have been given the final opportunity by the National Board of Medical Examinations (NBEMS) to submit such deficient documents.
As per the official notice issued by NBE in this regard, the final opportunity to submit the deficient documents is being given till 12th July 2024-11:55 PM.
The documents should be submitted through the Online Deficient Document Submission Portal which is mentioned in the notice.
Also, the candidates who fail to submit duly completed applications with requisite documents and/or fail to rectify the deficiencies in their applications by the last date prescribed for rectification will be declared ineligible. Therefore, admit cards will not be issued to those candidates who will be declared ineligible before the conduct of the examination.

Meanwhile, as per the DNB-PDCET 2024 schedule, the exam will be held on July 21, 2024, and the admit card will be released on July 16, 2024. However, the result is expected to be declared by 21st August 2024.
SCHEME OF DNB-PDCET 2024
1 DNB-PDCET 2024 shall be conducted in a single day & single session as a computer-based examination on 21 July 2024.
2 The level of the questions shall be at the Post Diploma exit examination in the concerned speciality. The examination shall comprise of multiple choice questions (MCQs) delivered as a computer-based test (CBT).
3 The examination shall be a multiple choice questions test delivered using a computer network (CBT) as per the scheme prescribed.
4 Each question will have 4 response options/distractors in English language only. Candidates are required to select the correct/best/most appropriate response/ answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question.
5 There shall be a total of 120 MCQs in each question paper from the concerned speciality covering the entire curriculum relevant to the Diploma speciality. For e.g. The question paper for admission to the Post Diploma DNB Anaesthesia course shall comprise of all 120 questions from Anaesthesiology covering the entire curriculum of the Diploma in Anaesthesia course.
6 Total time allotted shall be 120 minutes.
MARKING SCHEME
Allocation of marks for each MCQ shall be as follows-

3 | Unattempted Question. | Zero |
1 There shall be a 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
2 The question paper for DNB-PDCET will be divided into multiple time-bound sections. For example, if there are 3-time bound sections* (Section A, B & C) in the question paper, each Section will have 40 questions and 40 minutes of time allotted for the section. Candidates would be restricted from proceeding to the next section until completion of the allotted time of the previous section and candidates would not be allowed to review the questions/modify the responses of a section after the completion of the allotted time of that section. Questions of the next section will start automatically after the completion of the allotted time of the previous section.
3 Candidates are given the option to mark any question, whether attempted or not, for review which means that the candidate has been given the option to go through these questions in a section again before the allotted time to a section ends. Candidates may note that such questions which are marked for review shall be evaluated as per the marking scheme mentioned above.
