FMGE December 2025: NBE notifies tentative list of exam cities, check details
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has published the tentative list of examination centres for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2025 session.
The FMGE for the December 2025 session will be conducted on January 17, 2026, across India.
At the time of online submission of the application form, the candidate will be required to indicate his/her choices of four different test cities amongst the test cities offered where he/she would like to appear in FMGE. The candidate shall be allocated the test centre for FMGE in any one of these four test cities chosen by him/her using a random allocation process. No preference shall be asked to be indicated amongst these four choices. Allocation of the test centre in one of these test cities shall be decided by NBEMS on the basis of administrative, logistic and security parameters. Indicating a test city choice does not guarantee allocation of a test centre in one of these test cities. In the event of unavailability of a testing seat in any of the four choices of the candidate, NBEMS may allocate a test centre anywhere in the country.
Candidates will be informed regarding the allotted test city through an email at their registered email ID by 02.01.2026. The complete address of the test centre allotted in the test city shall be indicated in the admit card, which shall be issued on 14.01.2026 to the Eligible Candidates.
The list of test cities is purely tentative. In an extraordinary situation where a test city mentioned in the information bulletin could not be considered for conduct of examination due to security audit issues at test centre(s) in that city or other logistic issues/unforeseen reasons, candidates who would have indicated choices for such test cities shall be accommodated in other test city choices indicated by them in their application forms or in some other nearby cities. The test city allocated shall be intimated through email in advance to the concerned candidates. NBEMS may add a new test city, which is not indicated in the bulletin, if required to accommodate the candidates. NBEMS reserves its right to allocate the test centre anywhere in the country, irrespective of the test city chosen by the candidate, to maintain the sanctity of the examination.
Requests for a change of testing centre/city shall not be entertained under any circumstances. Candidates are advised not to canvass for the same.
