FMSC Announces Tentative Eligible, Non-Eligible List Of Candidates For MBBS, BDS, AYUSH Courses, Guidelines For Disability Certificate Issued

Delhi: Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMSC) announced the tentative eligible and non-eligible list of candidates for admission to UG courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, and BHAMS) for 2022-23 under 85% Delhi quota. The guidelines for disability certificate have also been released.

The list consists of the following -

1. Entry

2. Category of Service Personnel

3. Name of Candidate

4. Father Name of Candidate – First

6. CW Category/ Priority Claimed

7. CW Category Assigned

8. Remarks

The authority conducts the counseling for 85% of quota seats in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, and BHAMS.

Eligibility criteria –

1. The candidates should have completed 17 years on or before 31st December 2022.

2. The candidates should be NEET UG qualified.

3. The candidates must have passed the 11th and 12th standard examinations under the 10 + 2 system conducted by the CBSE/Indian school certificate examination/Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, or any other equivalent examination from a recognized school within the NCT of Delhi only.

4. The candidates should be medically fit for the course.

As per FMSC, the Certificate of Disability will have to be issued by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules. 2017 was notified in the Gazette of India by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on 15th June 2017.

The extent of -specified disability- in a person shall be assessed in accordance with the guidelines to assess the extent of specified disability in a person included under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 (49 of 2016) notified in the Gazette of India by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on 4th January 2018.

The minimum degree of disability should be 40% (Benchmark Disability) to be eligible for reservation for persons with specified disabilities. The types of disabilities with details are enclosed in the notice below.

The Faculty of Medical Sciences has been established under the provision of statute 9 of the Statute of the University of Delhi. The Faculty has such powers to perform such duties as may be assigned by Statutes and the Ordinances and shall, from time to time, appoint such and so many committees of courses and studies in different branches of knowledge as may be prescribed by the Ordinances. The courses included are undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses.
