Delhi: National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the result of the first round of counselling for the FNB Courses 2022 admission session.

The online Centralized Merit Based counseling schedule for admission to FNB Courses 2022 Admission Session has been notified vide NBEMS notice dated 17.03.2023. Candidates are requested to join the allotted hospital per the schedule notified vide NBEMS notice dated 17.03.2023.

The selected candidates must pay the 1st year course fee from 27th to 30th March 2023 (till 05:00 PM). Physical joining at the allotted hospital can be done from 27th March to 03rd April 2023. For the 2nd round, no new registration is required. Filling up options/choices of available seats can be done from 10th to 11th April 2023 (till 05:00 PM). On 12th April 2023, the processing of seat allotment will be done.

The 2nd round of allotment results will be declared on 13th April 2023. The first-year course fee can be paid from 13th to 17th April 2023 (till 05:00 PM). Physical joining at the allotted hospital can be done from the 13th to the 21st of April, 2023.

A further round of counseling will depend on the number of vacant seats after completing the 2nd round of counseling. The decision to conduct any further round is purely discretionary, and the decision of the NBEMS in this regard will be final and binding.

The Government of India established the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in 1975 to improve the quality of Medical Education by setting high and uniform standards of postgraduate examinations in modern medicine on an all-India basis utilizing existing infrastructure for capacity building. NBEMS currently conducts postgraduate and postdoctoral examinations in approved specialties leading to the award of Diplomate of National Board (DNB) and Doctorate of National Board (DrNB), respectively.
