FNB counselling by NBE: 69 seats available for Round 2, view detailed seat matrix here
New Delhi: After completion of round 1, the National Board of Examination (NBE) has now released the seat matrix for the second round of FNB 2020 counselling. According to the seat matrix, 69 seats are up for grabs in the second round.
All the aspirants vying for FNB admissions are hereby requested to take a note of the seats available in their preferred choice of specialities.
Maximum number of seats are available in the speciality of Minimal Access Surgery with 12 seats divided between Dr B L Kapur Memorial Hospital, Artemis Health Institute, Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Fortis Hospital, Narayana Hrudayalaya Surgical Hospital, Apollo Hospital, GEM Hospital and Research Centre, and ILS Hospital.
There will be 12 seats in the Interventional cardiology specialty divided between Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Medical Trust Hospital, Madras Medical Mission Hospital, and B.M. Birla Heart Research Centre.
Spine surgery specialty will have 6 seats in the 2nd round of counseling at M.I.O.T. Hospital, Ganga Medical Centre and Hospital, S. K. S. Hospital, Manipal Hospital, and Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences.
Similarly, Pediatric Hemato-Oncology has 5 seats in Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital, MVR Cancer Centre and Research Institute, Tata Medical Centre.
5 seats will be there in the specialty of Infectious Disease in the institutes of Sterling Hospital, P.D. Hinduja National Hospital, and Medical Research Centre, Apollo Hospital (Chennai), and Apollo Hospital (Hyderabad).
Arthroplasty specialty will have 4 seats on offer at Amandeep Hospital, Ganga Medical Centre and Hospital, and Medica Superspecialty Hospital.
Reproductive Medicine also has 4 vacant seats at NOVA Pulse IVF Clinic, Edappal Hospital, Bansal Hospital, and Madras Medical Mission Hospital.
Likewise, Sports Medicine has 4 seats available at Artemis Health Institute, Medical Trust Hospital, Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Research Centre, and Ganga Medical Centre and Hospital
Specialties of Hand and Micro Surgery, Pediatric Nephrology, and Trauma and Acute Care Surgery have 3 seats each for 2nd round of counseling.
2 seats each are available in specialties of Vitro Retinal Surgery, Liver Transplant, and Neuro Vascular Intervention.
Only 1 seat each is vacant in Minimal Access Surgery specialty and Pediatric Gastroenterology
