New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the results for the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation (Institute Subject/Specialty) for MD/MS/MCh(6 years)/DM(6 years)/MDS, January 2021 Session
The 2nd Round Online Seat Allocation for MD/MS/MCh(6 years)/DM(6 years)/MDS, January 2021 Session of Institutes of National Importance, namely, AIIMS-New Delhi, -Bhopal, -Bhubaneswar, -Jodhpur, -Patna, -Raipur, - Rishikesh; JIPMER Puducherry; NIMHANS Bengaluru and PGIMER Chandigarh is based on choices exercised by the provisionally eligible candidates from 11:00 am 31.12.2020 to 5:00 pm 01.01.2021.
Accordingly, the allocation of seats (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in 2nd Round of seat allocation has been done.

Important information
1. This list includes all candidates who were eligible for 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation irrespective of their status of participation in the process of seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) allocation for the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation.
2. This list does not include:
• All those candidates who did not participate in 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation.
• All those candidates who were allocated seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation but did not choose any Option online (No Action Taken) by 26th December 2020, 5.00 pm.
• All those candidates who were allocated seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation and chose option 1 or 2 but did not complete the necessary formalities mentioned in the result of the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation by 28th December 2020, 5.00 pm.
3. For the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation, the order of seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) Allocation was based on merit order used for the 1stRound (including institutional preference seat (AIIMS and Subject/Specialty) & Institute (INST) stands for an applicant who has studied and obtained his/her MBBS Degree from JIPMER. The word Institute is not applicable to any other Medical Institution for the purpose of benefit against statutory reservations.
4. In case a candidate who had chosen Option 2 after the 1stRound of Online Seat Allocation gets a better choice of seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty), the released seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) is offered to the next (remaining) eligible candidates as per merit order used for the 1stRound of Online Seat Allocation).
5. For the online Open Round of seat allocation, the order of Seat Allocation will be based on the original merit list, in respective category.
6. The online Seat Allocation for the 2ndRound was done on the Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) left vacant after the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation.
7. The dates of the online Open Round of Seat Allocation have already been published in the Notice No.195/2020 dated 14.12.2020. Candidates are advised to visit www.aiimsexams.org regularly.
Procedure to be followed by candidates who have been allocated seat (institute and subject/specialty) in the 2nd round of online seat allocation.
All candidates who have been allocated a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation are required to visit the website and actively exercise the following options by Friday, the 8th January, 2021 upto 5:00 p.m. and report to allocated Institute by Saturday, the 9th January, 2021 up to 5.00 p.m. with the original documents/Demand Draft as described below.
Option A. ACCEPT allotted Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) Failure to accept the allocated seat will lead to forfeiture of the allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty).Kindly read the details carefully.
Instruction for Option A is as follows:
Option A: If the Option of ACCEPT allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty)is selected, then
• The candidate will have to go to the allocated Institute before 5.00 p.m. on Friday, the 8th January, 2021 with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at www.aiimsexams.org) and report to the allocated Institute for depositing original documents OR photocopies of certificates with a print copy of Electronic transfer (RTGS/NEFT) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only (Account details on page 71).The amount shall be refunded only when original certificates are deposited.
• If Original Documents at the time of joining has not been submitted, then the Original Documents should be submitted within 5 days of taking admission, otherwise admission will be cancelled and the deposited money will be forfeited.
• The candidates whose allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 1st Round is at the same Institute where they have deposited Documents after the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation must also follow the above procedure.
• The candidates whose allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round is at the different Institute where they deposited Documents after the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation must go to the Institute allocated in the 2nd Round. Their Documents will be transferred internally.
• Please note that a candidate who ACCEPT the allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) (Option A) in the 2ndRound and but DO NOT report to the Allotted Institute by 5.00PM on Saturday, the 9th January, 2021 to complete the necessary formalities, then the following shall apply
1. In case a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) had not been allocated in the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation, the Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) allocated in the 2nd Round shall be vacated without any further communication. Such candidates shall be eligible for Open Round.
2. In case a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) had been allocated in the 1stRound of Online Seat Allocation and the candidate had accepted the Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) and wished to participate in the 2ndRound (Option 2), and have already submitted a Electronic transfer (RTGS/NEFT) for Rs 3 lakhs only, the deposited amount shall be forfeited and Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) allocated shall be vacated. Such candidates shall be eligible for Open Round.
3. In case a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) had been allocated in the 1stRound of Online Seat Allocation and the candidate had accepted the Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) and wished to participate in the 2ndRound (Option 2), and have already submitted original documents, then same can be collected after payment of Rs 3 lakhs only through a Electronic transfer (RTGS/NEFT) from the Institute where the certificates were deposited after rectification of fund transfer. The Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) shall be vacated. Such candidates shall be eligible for Open Round.
It is mandatory for all candidates who have been allocated seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in 2nd Round to login and exercise the options as mentioned above by 5.00 PM on Friday, the 8th January, 2021.
Group I. Candidates who had chosen option 2 in the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation. There are two outcomes for them:
Group I A. Candidates who have been allotted same seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round as they had been allotted in 1st Round
Group I B. Candidates who have been allotted a higher/better choice seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round as compared to 1st Round.
Group II. Candidates who were not allocated seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 1st Round but now have been allotted seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation.
Instructions for candidates belonging to Group IA (Candidates who had chosen option 2 in the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation and who have been allocated same seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round as they had been allocated in 1st Round) Option A ACCEPT allotted Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty). The candidate will have to go to the allotted Institute with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at www.aiimsexams.org) and report in person to the allotted Institute by 5.00 PM on Saturday, the 9th January, 2021. In case candidate had submitted Photocopies of certificate with a print out of Electronic transfer (RTGS/NEFT) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only) after the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation, then candidate is required to deposit the original certificates at the time of reporting. (For payment made through Electronic Fund Transfer refund will be processed after completion of admission process by the Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi after verification and approval)
Instructions for candidates belonging to Group IB (Candidates who have been allotted a higher/better choice seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round as compared to 1st Round in the same or different Institute)
Option A ACCEPT allotted seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty). The candidate will have to go to the allotted Institute with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at www.aiimsexams.org) and report in person to the allotted Institute by 5.00 PM on Saturday, the 9th January, 2021. The certificates will be transferred internally within respective Institute. In case candidate had submitted Photocopies of certificate with a print out of Electronic transfer (RTGS/NEFT) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only) after the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation, then candidate are required to deposit the original certificates at the time of reporting. (For payment made through Electronic Fund Transfer refund will be processed after completion of admission process by the Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi after verification and approval)
Instructions for candidates belonging to Group II (Candidates who were not allotted seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 1st Round but now have been allotted seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation)
Option A ACCEPT allocated seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty). The candidate must report to the allocated Institute in 2nd Round within the dates mentioned in the Important Dates Link.
• The candidate will have to go to the allocated Institute by 5.00 PM on Saturday, the 9th January, 2021 with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at www.aiimsexams.org) and report in person to the allotted Institute for depositing original certificates OR submit Photocopies of certificate with a print out of Electronic transfer (RTGS/NEFT) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only). The print out of Electronic transfer and photocopies of the certificates can be deposited by a person authorized by candidate. The payment of Rs. 3 Lakh will be refunded when original certificates are deposited. (For payment made through Electronic Fund Transfer refund will be processed after completion of admission process by the Account Officer, Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi Nodal Officer of AIIMS, New Delhi after verification and approval)
• If original certificates are not deposited at the time of reporting, these will have to be submitted in person within 5 days of reporting, otherwise allocated seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) and deposited money will be forfeited.
• In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report by 5.00 PM on Saturday, the 9th January 2021, the Online Seat Allocated will be cancelled. However, these candidates can participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation.
Instructions for candidates belonging to Group III (Candidates who were not allotted seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty)in the 1st Round and 2nd Round Both)
All the candidates who had participated in the 2nd round and were not allocated any seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty)will automatically be eligible for the Open round.
Note: Any candidate who has been allocated a seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2ndRound of Online Seat Allocation and does NOT respond in any of the above manner, his/her offer of seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) shall be vacated. However, these candidates can participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation.
IMPORTANT
Those Candidate who have been allocated a Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) in the 2ndround of Online Seat Allocation but DO NOT actively choose Option: A i.e. accept the offer by the 8th January, 2021 upto 5:00 p.m. and complete the necessary formalities by 5.00 p.m. Saturday, the 9th January, 2021 such candidates shall be deemed to have declined/refused the offer. The Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) shall be declared as vacant for online Open Round of Seat Allocation. This applied to all group of candidates i.e. upgrading/retained last allocation/new allocation.
Policy regarding the depositing of documents/certificates/DD
The claim to allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) by candidates is subject to verification of the documents for eligibility as applicable as well as identity verification of the candidature. If a candidate fails to submit required certificates (original or photocopies with Scan the print out of the electronic transfer of Rs.3 lakh) his/her candidature will be cancelled, the Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) will be vacated.
Method of payment through Electronic Fund Transfer
Candidates who have chosen Option 1 or 2 and wish to make an electronic deposit of Rs 3.00 lakh in lieu of submission of original certificates, the following procedure is to be followed:
1. The amount of Rs.3 lakh should be deposited through electronic fund transfer in the Account given below:

3. Scan the print out of the electronic transfer and email it to the designated email ID of the Nodal Officer of the allocated Institute with copy to inicet.pgcounselling@gmail.com
a. The details of the Transaction with Transaction ID, Amount and Date of electronic fund transfer should be sent to designated email ID of the Nodal Officer of allocated Institute (details on Page No. 73)with copy (CC) to inicet.pgcounselling@gmail.com. The self-attested scanned copies of the required certificates as per the result notification No.01/2021 dated 04.01.2021 should also be attached.
b. This is an additional method for confirming your acceptance of the allocated seat (Institute-Subject/Specialty).
List of Documents/Certificates that are required to be deposited in Original OR photocopy along with print copy of details of transaction of Rs 3.00 lakh, as applicable.
i) Offer Letter(From MyPage after logging in)
ii) Seat allocation Slip (take a print after online acceptance of the allocated Seat (Institute‐subject/specialty)
iii) Final Registration Slip(From MyPage after logging in)
iv) Admit Card issued by AIIMS (From MyPage after logging in)
v) Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd and 3rd Professional Examinations.
vi) MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate.
vii) Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate will be completing the internship by 31st January 2021 for all AIIMS & 31st December, 2020 for JIPMER Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh & NIMHANS Bengaluru.
viii) Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Council. ix) High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth. (Matriculation)
x) The Candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable*:
a. SC/ST/OBC/EWS: Original Certificates issued by the competent authority and that have been issued within the dates mentioned below, should be in English or Hindi in language. Community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. OBC/EWS certificate should be same as provided to Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi within in due dates.
Note: OBC Certificate should be issued by the competent authority for central Govt. jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub‐caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Certificates that are applicable only for respective State Governments shall not be acceptable. OBC certificate must be in the Central Govt. Format as prescribed in the prospectus.OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer.
The dates of issuance of certificates -
(i) OBC‐NCL/EWS: The OBC‐NCL/EWS certificates should have been issued between 27.10.2019 and 20.11.2020 (date of examination of INI‐CET, Jan 2021), both dates inclusive.
(ii) SC/ST/PwBD: The SC/ST/PwBD certificates should have been issued on or before 20.11.2020 (date of examination).
The allocated PG Course/Subject of candidates who fail to produce valid certificates of respective constitutional categories (OBC, SC/ST/EWS) will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further rounds under UR category subject to conditions applicable to UR merit list. b. Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board as mentioned in the prospectus.
c. Any other certificate in respect of candidature as per prospectus INI‐CET Part‐B of respective institute as applicable
Note: Candidates must note that a certificate from any other person/authority will not be accepted and no further correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The name, designation and the seal of the officer should be legible in the certificate.
The allocated seat of candidates, who fail to produce valid certificate of PWBD category, will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further round under their respective constitutional category subject to conditions applicable to respective merit list
