INI CET- PGIMER notifies on Round 2 Counselling for MD, MS sponsored candidates, details
Chandigarh- Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh is soon going to conduct the 2nd Physical Counselling/Seat Allotment for admission to various MD/MS Courses at PGIMER.
This has been informed through a notice to all the eligible candidates of INICET for the January 2025 session conducted by AIIMS New Delhi, who applied under the sponsored category for admission to various MD/MS courses at PGIMER, Chandigarh.
As per the notice, the 2nd physical counselling/seat allotment of the qualified sponsored candidates of INICET Jan 2024 for admission to the various MD/MS courses at PGIMER, Chandigarh will be held on 27 January 2025 (Monday) at 11:00 AM in the Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
In this regard, PGIMER has already displayed the list of all the eligible and qualified candidates for the first sponsored counselling. Therefore, all the eligible candidates need to produce one set photocopy of all the following documents-
1 Secondary Certificate.
2 MBBS Degree.
3 Internship Completion Certificate.
4 State Medical Council/National Medical Commission Registration Certificate and Original Sponsorship Certificate & NOC from their respective sponsoring authority at the time of counselling.
Meanwhile, the seat matrix for counselling has also been released. According to the seat matrix, a total of 40 seats are available. Out of these, a total of 22 seats are filled in 14 departments and a total of 18 seats are vacant.
While, among these 14 departments, the Department of Anaesthesia & Intensive Care has the highest number of seats at 8, and the departments of Nuclear Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Radiodiagnosis & Imaging have the least number of seats at 1 each.
Further, it is emphasized that since this is a physical counselling, the presence of the participating candidates is mandatory during the counselling. However, the participating candidates are requested to be seated at the Bhargava Auditorium by 10:45 am on 27 January 2025.
