Karnataka: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) announced the PGET 2022 Medical/DNB Round 1 seat allotment results (except for in-service candidates).

The candidates need to click on the link to view the results https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/#inbox/FMfcgzGqRPzgbqCWQnhSGwbMfBdVltDw. The results are announced after the 2nd round of the counselling schedule.

The merit list was released based on registration, NEET PG rank, state domicile, reservation, and other criteria. The candidates whose names were on the merit list were only allowed to participate in the counselling process. The counselling process will have 3 rounds, i.e. round 1, round 2, and the mop-up round. The mop-up round will only be conducted if any seats are vacant after round 2.

Eligibility criteria –

1. The candidates must have qualified for NEET PG.

2. The candidates must possess an MBBS degree from an institute recognized by MCI/DCI.

3. The candidates must have completed their compulsory rotatory internship by 31st April 2022.

4. Candidates must have registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC)/ state medical council.

NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses.

Karnataka Examinations Authority is governed by the Governing Council headed by the Honourable Minister of Higher Education. The Government of Karnataka established Common Entrance Test Cell in the year 1994 for conducting entrance tests and determining the eligibility/merit for admission to the first year or first semester of full-time professional courses for Government share of seats in Medical, Dental, Indian systems of medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering / Architecture Courses, BSc (Agriculture), BSc (Sericulture), BSc (Horticulture), BSc (Forestry), BSc Agri Bio Tech, BHSc (Home Science), BTech (Agri. Engg), BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Dairy Tech), BFSc (Fisheries), BTech (Food Science & Tech), BSc (Agri. Marketing & Co-Op), B-Pharma, Pharma-D Courses.

Recently Medical Dialogues team had reported that KEA informed about the option entry process for NEET PG admission for 2022 -23. Per the notice, the option entry portal was enabled for all the eligible candidates from 5.00 pm, 30th October 2022. All the candidates holding verification slips are eligible for this option entry. Those who have already entered options can re¬order, add, or delete the options if required. The option entry portal was open until 4.00 pm, 31st October 2022.
