KEA Begins Mop Up Round For PG Medical, Dental Admission, Check out Details

Karnataka: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) announced the schedule for the mop-up round for PG Medical and Dental admission. Details related to the non-service PG mop-up round have also been released.

Detailed schedule –

1. Downloading of entry pass by eligible candidates - deposited originals - From 11.00 am on 21-11-2022 to 22-11- 2022 up to 11.59 pm

2. The candidates who have already registered but have not verified their documents or those candidates who did not deposit their original documents; can verify and deposit the original documents to become eligible to participate in the mop-up round for the available seats. 3. Non- In-service PG Medical offline seat allotment at KEA, 18th Cross, Malleshwaram, Bangalore - 25-11-2022 as per schedule

4. Last date for reporting to the allotted Medical college - 26-11-2022 before 5.30 pm

5. Forwarding of Names list to PG Medical colleges - 26-11-2022 by 1.00 pm

6. Last date for PG Medical admission at the college for names list allotted seats - As per MCC schedule

7. PG Dental offline seat allotment at KEA, 18th Cross, Malleshwaram, Bangalore - 25-11-2022 as per schedule

Details issued -

1. Candidates note that after completion of the NRI seat allotment, the seat which may remain under the NRI (N) quota will be converted to the Others (Q) quota and offered to eligible candidates as per the rank schedule given below in further stages of allotment.

2. Schedule for all category candidates - SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, GM, all HK categories, GMP, OPN & OTHERS (Q) — for all types of Minority seats - depending on the vacancy — counseling will be stopped once the seats are exhausted. Please check the availability of seats on the KEA Website.

3. KEA has further informed that available seats will be hosted on the KEA Website after completion of the seat allotment on 23-11-2022 for the candidates' information. The seats available for the Grand Decategorisation PG Medical round will be hosted on the KEA Website at the end of the mop-up round seat allotment on 24-11-2022.

4. If any category seats remain unfilled after completion of the seat allotment, seats will be decategorized as per rules/norms and offered to the eligible candidates. The candidates who select the PG Clinical seat in the mop-up round will not be eligible to participate in the Grand Decategorisation round.

Details issued for non-in-service mop-up round –

After allotment of seats to in-service candidates in the second round, the unfilled in-service seats, and other unfilled seats, if any, have already been decategorized as per the roster system & Government norms and allotted to the eligible non-in-service candidates in the second round seat allotment itself.

After completion of the second round of seat allotment, the seats which remained unfilled and seats canceled by the candidates after the second round are hosted on the KEA Website for the candidates' information. The seats which may get canceled before the mop-up round will also be considered for the mop-up round.

Eligibility –

1. Candidates who have not joined the college after allotment of seats in the PG Medical / PG Dental first round or second round or not allotted seat in the mop-up round of All India Counselling, including Counselling for Deemed Universities (subject to conditions if any, stipulated by G01), and candidates who have not been allotted any Clinical seat* in the second round of state counseling.

2. Candidates allotted pre or para-clinical seats will be allowed to participate in counseling for Clinical seats only. However, if they have already joined the allotted college, they will not be allowed to participate in the mop-up round.

3. The newly registered (Lowered percentile) candidates who completed the document verification process (Lowered percentile & earlier eligible candidates) will also be eligible to participate in the mop-up round.

Counseling will be stopped once the seats are exhausted. Candidates are advised to check the KEA Website with regard to seat availability / vacant seats and to know about the college-wise and course-wise fee structure in different colleges.

The fees have to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft; hence the candidates should come prepared with the demand draft for the corresponding fee amount they intend to select. (Cheques / Cash payments will not be accepted; further NEFT / RTGS will not be allowed.) A demand draft has to be drawn in favor of "The Executive Director, KEA," payable at Bangalore. Candidates can bring multiple demand drafts for different denominations according to their willingness to the selection of available seats.

Eligible candidates interested in participating in the mop-up round download the entry pass for the mop-up round and must produce the same at the venue on the day of mop-up counseling along with the demand draft and all original documents.

The candidate's photo will be printed on the entry pass; the candidates have to be present personally for the counseling process; a candidate's representative will not be allowed on behalf of the candidate for the Mop-up round under any circumstances.

The following documents are to be carried in the mop-up round –

1. PGET-2022 Application Printout, Annexure-1, Annexure-2, Annexure-7.

2. Valid Identity Card with Photo.

3. Entry Pass (Downloaded from KEA Website).

4. Verification Slip (Pink).

5. Yellow color acknowledgment slip for depositing the Original Documents at KEA.

6. Demand Drafts—for the different denominations. (Check the Website for fee structure) [One DD for "G" seat, another one for balance amount totaling to "P" seat, if interested DDs can be brought for NRI "N" seats or for "Q" Other seats if willing to select]

7. Candidates have to appear as per the schedule according to PGNEET - All India Rank.
