KEA begins round 3 NEET PG counselling registrations, details
Karnataka: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is inviting fresh online registration for PG Medical Degree and Diploma courses for the academic year 2025-26, following the revision of the National Eligibility and Postgraduate (NEET PG) cut-off scores by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
The KEA notification has been released in accordance with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) letter and the NBEMS earlier notice, which lowered the qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2025 to widen eligibility.
As per the NBEMS decision, the General category candidates have been made eligible at the 7th percentile and the SC/ST/OBC candidates have been declared eligible at the 0th percentile.
This revision allows a larger pool of candidates to participate in the remaining stages of PG Medical counselling for the 2025 academic year.
Following this, KEA has informed that candidates who have become newly eligible after the cut-off revision can apply through the KEA PG Medical 2025 portal. Therefore, online Registration has already begun and the last Date to apply is till 26 January 2026, 11:00 AM.
The application link is available at the official website of KEA. Candidates must complete registration, upload documents, and submit required details within the stipulated timeline.
Furthermore, newly registered PG candidates have to appear on either January 27, 28 and 28 between 11 am to 4 pm for verification of documents to become eligible for option entry and seats allotment.
KEA has clarified that document verification for these candidates will be carried out online, and eligibility will be confirmed based on NEET PG 2025 details and uploaded certificates.
The authority has further announced that the PG Medical Mop-Up Round will be conducted for the newly eligible candidates after cut-off revision, and candidates who remain unallotted from previous rounds.
The candidates with physical disabilities who got eligibility due to the lowering of qualifying criteria should appear for medical examination along with relevant certificates and identity card, on January 28 at KEA, Bangalore.
