KEA PG Medical Counselling sessions to start from 17th January, Details
Karnataka: Through a recent notice, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has informed about the schedule for counselling sessions for PG Medical Courses for the year 2021-22 for In-service/non- In-service/NRI/NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals.
The schedule has been divided into two sessions, morning and afternoon, and the sessions are further divided into two parts. Forenoon Session 1 will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, and reporting time will be 8.45 am. Forenoon Session 2 will be from 11:15 am to 1:15 am, and reporting time would be 10:45 am. Afternoon Session 1 will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and reporting time will be 1.30 pm. Afternoon Session 2 will be from 4:15 pm to 6:15 pm, and the reporting time will be 3:30 pm.
On 17th January 2022, the candidates with ranks from 1 to 2000 need to attend Forenoon Session 2, 2001 to 5500 Afternoon Session 1 and 5501 to 7000 Afternoon Session 2. On 18th January 2022, candidates with ranks from 7001 to 10000 need to attend Forenoon session 1, 10001 to 14000 Forenoon Session 2, 14001 to 16000 Afternoon Session 1 16001 to 20000 Afternoon Session 2.
On 19th January 2022, candidates with ranks from 20001 to 25000 need to attend from Forenoon session 1, 25001 to 30000 Forenoon Session 2, 30001 to 34000 Afternoon Session 1 34001 to 38000 Afternoon Session 2. On 20th January 2022, candidates with ranks from 38001 to 45000 need to attend from Forenoon session 1, 45001 to 52000 Forenoon Session 2, 52001 to 57000 Afternoon Session 1 57001 to 60000.
On 21st January 2022, the candidates with ranks from 60001 to 75000 need to attend Forenoon session 1, 75001 to 89000 Forenoon Session 2, and 89001 to 99000 Afternoon Session 1.
KEA has further mentioned that candidates who have registered online and paid the registration fees are only eligible to participate with the necessary original documents. The fees can be paid through Rupay, Visa, Master, and debit cards. The candidates by qualifying PG NEET 2021 don't confer any right on the candidate unless they fulfill eligibility conditions, producing the documents/certification for verification.
Registered but not verified / Unregistered candidates will not be allowed for any admission either through KEA or by the college, as after the mop-op round, they fill up vacant seats, if any. The candidate can edit their application form 6:00 pm on 14th January 2022, and only the candidates who have paid the fee can edit.
The candidates have been asked to read the information bulletin – 2021 published at htt://kea.kar.nic.regarding submission of original documents during document verification and check the website for recent updates. The candidates will have to be personally present for the verification process at KEA, 18th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore, based on PG NEET-2021 All India Rank.
