KEA releases Round 2 NEET PG Counselling schedule
Karnataka: Through a written notice, Karnataka Examination Authority(KEA) has informed about the round 2 counselling schedule for PG Medical admissions.
Deposition of original documents by round 1 choice 2 fees paid candidates, choice 3 candidates & un-allotted candidates can be done between 16th February 2022 till 19th February 2022 (10:30 am to 5.50 am).
Detailed time schedule –
1. 16th February 2022 – Rank 1 to 5000 (9:00 am to 11:00 am), 50001 to 10000 (11:15 am to 1:15 pm), 10001 to 13000 (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm), 13001 to 15000 (4:15 to 5:30).
2. 17th February 2022 – Rank 15001 to 23000 (9:00 am to 11:00 am), 23001 to 31000 (11:15 am to 1:15 pm), 31001 to 36000 (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm), 36001 to 40000 (4:15 to 5:30).
3. 18th February 2022 – Rank 40001 to 48000 (9:00 am to 11:00 am), 48001 to 56000 (11:15 am to 1:15 pm), 56001 to 64000 (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm), 64001 to 70000 (4:15 to 5:30).
4. 19th February 2022 - Rank 70001 to 78000 (9:00 am to 11:00 am), 78001 to 85000 (11:15 am to 1:15 pm), 85001 (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm).
KEA has mentioned that the schedule for entry of options and seat allotment will be published in due course on the KEA website. Candidate's who fails to submit the original documents on the specified date will not be considered for entry of options/allotment.
Only NEET PG qualified candidates who will fill out the online application form can participate in the counselling of PG medical. The NEET PG cutoff for the general category is 50%, and for SC/ST/OBC/PH, it is 40%. Candidates included in the merit list need to fill in their choices of courses and colleges. The authorities will prepare the seat allotment based on the NEET score, choices filled, seat matrix, reservation criteria, and other factors. Candidates allotted seats during counselling will be required to report to the allotted college.
