KNRUHS extends free exit deadline for MBBS candidates admitted upto round 2 counselling
Telangana: Through a notification, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has announced an extension of the free exit deadline for candidates admitted to the MBBS course up to round 2 counselling under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2025–26.
As per the notification, the University has stated that the last date for free exit has been extended till 1:00 PM on October 13, 2025. This extension applies to all candidates admitted up to the second phase of counselling under the Competent Authority Quota.
Therefore, the KNRUHS has instructed the Principals of all medical colleges to upload the admission data on the official portal by 1:30 PM on October 13, 2025. The University also emphasised that no withdrawals from allotted MBBS seats will be permitted after 1:00 PM on October 13, 2025.
This move provides additional time for candidates who wish to exercise their free exit option before the next phase of MBBS counselling begins.
On the schedule for joining into allotted colleges, the university mentioned that candidates who have been allotted seats in Medical/Dental Colleges in Second Phase of Counselling under Management Quota (B & C/NRI Category) that the last date for reporting at the respective allotted Medical/Dental Colleges is extended from 03.00 PM on 10.10.2025 up to 02.00 PM on 13.10.2025. All the candidates are directed to report at the allotted colleges on or before 02.00 PM on 13.10.2025 along with all original certificates and the requisite college fee, failing which the allotment stands cancelled.
