KNRUHS Informs on Web Option For Round 2 MBBS admission, 980 Seats available
Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) informed about exercising web options for the second phase of counseling for admission into MBBS courses 2022-23 under management quota in affiliated private medical colleges. The seat matrix for the same has been released.
As per the notice, all the eligible candidates whose names are displayed in the Provisional final merit list for Management Quota on the KNR UHS website can exercise web options for admission into MBBS seats till 7.00 pm today (1.12.2022) through https://tspvtmedadm.tsche.in/ as per the candidate's registration and eligibility for B & C (NRI) categories.
Candidates are advised to go through the prospectus and regulations for MBBS courses available on the website before exercising web options. There is no limit to choices (number) for exercising web options. Candidates can exercise web options for any number of colleges they are interested in joining as per the candidate's eligibility.
One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile when saving web options. The password consists of SIX letter code with English capitals A to Z (for details, read instructions to the candidates before giving options.
Candidates should exercise web options for MBBS seats in all colleges in which they are interested in joining, irrespective of available seats shown in the seat matrix, as vacancies will arise during the counseling process due to the sliding of candidates from allotted seats in the first phase of counseling to other seats as per their web options in the second phase of counseling.
If a seat is allotted in this phase of counseling as per web options exercised by the candidate, the seat allotted in the 1st phase of counseling will be automatically canceled and allotted to the other candidate.
Non-eligibility criteria –
1. The candidates who were allotted seats in the first phase of counseling under Management Quota and have not reported/discontinued the course at the respective college are not eligible for exercising options.
2. Candidates who have not exercised web options in the first phase of counseling of Management Quota are also not eligible to exercise web options.
3. Candidates admitted after the second phase of the counseling in All India Quota Counselling is not eligible to exercise web options.
Eligibility criteria -
1. The candidates allotted MBBS seats in the first phase of counseling of Management Quota and joined the course are also eligible to exercise web options for upgradation and are informed to exercise web options.
University fee -
Allotted candidates must pay the following University fee through the payment gateway using an online payment method (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking) and download the allotment letter. Candidates who have already paid the university fee in the 1st phase need not pay again.
For B- Category: For C-Category ( NRI ):
1) MBBS Rs. 40,000=00 1) MBBS Rs. 70,000=00
Tuition fee –
Tuition fee is to be paid at respective Medical colleges. The tuition fee payable as notified by the Government of Telangana in GO Ms. No:5, HM&FW (C1)Department, Dated:27. 01.2022 (notified on KNRUHS website).
Detail issued -
2. In the Management Quota B Category, 85% of seats are reserved for local candidates of Telangana State, and 15% are open to candidates from all over the country. 15% unreserved seats shall be allotted first, followed by seats reserved for local candidates in Management Quota B category seats.
3. The candidates note that they will be considered only for the category/categories to which they have registered.
4. Management Quota B &C (NRI) seats in Un-aided Minority Medical Colleges are reserved for Muslim Minority Candidates only in this phase.
5. Candidates have to exercise options for the B category and if eligible for C (NRI) in order of priority for the course and college. Allotments will be made according to the order of preference in the web options exercised by the candidate.
6. Candidates will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after allotment of the seat if allotted. Candidates are also directed to log in to check their allotment status on through https://tspvtmedadm.tsche.in/ website after each phase of counseling without fail.
7. The selected candidates shall download the allotment letter from the website after payment of the University fee by gateway method using an online payment method (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking). Candidates should check their allotment details and report to the Principal of the respective college on or before the date specified on the allotment letter.
8. Selected candidates must report to the Principal of the respective college before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment letter, submit all original certificates and relevant bonds, and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission. Suppose the candidate does not fulfill the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date for joining. In that case, the admission will be canceled automatically, and the candidate is not eligible for further counseling.
9. If the candidate slides to other colleges during the second phase of counseling in colleges affiliated with KNRUHS, the original certificates will be sent to the college concerned after the closure of admissions. Candidates have to get relieved from the first phase, join the college, obtain a custodian certificate, collect fees and report to the allotted college before the last date of joining.
10. The final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be canceled, and action may be initiated as per University Regulations.
11. Candidates allotted seats under the NRI Quota should produce the relevant sponsorship letter from an NRI relative in Original, along with a copy of the passport/ Residence Proof/Bank Statement or passbook of the sponsor for the NRI Category at respective colleges.
12. Candidates are not permitted to withdraw/discontinue from the course after allotment in the second phase of counseling. Hence the first phase admitted candidates are advised to make a calculated decision to continue in the second phase of counseling as they will not be permitted to resign from 2nd phase allotted seat. They will also not be allowed to participate in any further AIQ/State counselings after joining in the Second phase as per Hon'ble Supreme Court orders.
13. Candidates who have joined in any seat of the second phase of counseling in All India Quota/Any State/Deemed Universities counseling are not eligible for this phase of counseling. If any candidate violates the University notices this and the same at any later date, the admission stands canceled automatically, and the candidate is liable for punishment as per law.
14. Admitted candidates will have to pay a discontinuation penalty of Rs.20 lakhs as per Government Orders if they discontinue the course after the second phase of counseling to get their original certificates back. Candidates also will be debarred for 3 years for MBBS admission under KNRUHS to prevent seat blocking.
