Hyderabad: Through a recent notice, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, (KNRUHS) has invited online applications for admission into undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani and Naturopathy under Competent Authority Quota for 2020-21 in the state of Telangana.

Application forms online are invited from the candidates who have qualified by securing the following cutoff scores and above in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) UG – 2020 and fulfilled the following criteria for admission into Under Graduate AYUSH Courses BAMS, BHMS, BUMS & BNYS for the academic year 2020-21 under Competent Authority Quota in Government and Private AYUSH colleges affiliated to KNRUHS, Warangal in the State of Telangana.

This notification is issued for online registration for determining State Merit position for web based counseling and admission into seats under Competent Authority Quota seats i.e., the seats in Government AYUSH colleges after deducting 15% of seats contributed to All India Quota & Government of India and Competent Authority Quota seats in Private AYUSH Colleges. Final State Merit list will be notified after verification of Original certificates. Schedule for verification of original certificates will be notified on KNRUHS website. Total number of seats available under competent authority quota in all categories along with seat matrix for the academic year 2020-21 will be notified on KNRUHS website before first phase of counseling. Fee structure will be as notified by the Government.

Final Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared based on the NEET UG - 2020 Rank and other eligibility criteria notified hereunder after verification of original certificates as per the schedule notified by KNRUHS. Verification of original certificates will also be conducted at the time of admission at allotted college by admission committee.
I. Eligibility:
The candidates, should have qualified in NEET UG - 2020 by securing marks of minimum percentile and above have to apply for determining the State Merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats subject to the conditions specified in admission Regulations/Prospectus. (Refer regulations/prospectus for detailed clarifications).
1.1 The candidate should be an Indian National or Person of Indian Origin (PIO/ Overseas Citizens of India(OCI) Care Holder and should satisfy the Local or Non- Local status in Telangana State as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, 1974. Selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.P.No.646, dated:10-7-1979 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC) Department, dated:18.05.2009, subsequent amendments and relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court/High Court orders.
1.2 The Candidates seeking admission in to B.A.M.S./B.H.M.S/B.N.Y.S. Courses should have passed Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/ and English.
I. OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% Marks in the science subjects.
II. BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% Marks in the science subjects.
III. OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% Marks in the science subjects.
IV. Candidates claiming reservation under EWS Category also should obtain 50% marks in Science subject.
1.3 The candidate should have qualified in NEET UG-2020
a) ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION INTO BUMS COURSE AS PER REGULATIONS OF CENTRAL COUNCIL OF INDIAN MEDICINE, Admissions to Kamil-E-TIB-Wa-Jarahat course: A candidate seeking admission to main Kamil-E-Tib-Wa-Jarahat (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery – B.U.M.S.) Course must have passed.
i. Candidate must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by Government of Telangana in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Candidate shall obtain fifty percent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology for general Category and 40% marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward classes. In respect of PWD candidates 45% aggregate marks shall be obtained.
&
ii. The candidate should have passed 10th/Intermediate with Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as a subject or clear the test of Urdu of 10th/Intermediate (wherever there is provision to conduct of such test) in the entrance examination conducted by the University or Board or Registered Society or Association authorized by the Government to conduct such examination
(or)
The Pre - Tib examination of one year duration
Note: Candidates possessing qualification of the University/Board or an institution outside the State should enclose a certificate of equivalence from Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana.
1.4 Age:
a) The Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2020 and not more than 25 years on 31-12-2020. The candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31- 12-2020 need not apply. The candidates born on or after 02- 01-2004 are not eligible for admission into BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BNYS Courses.
NOTE: 1) Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth as indicated in the Secondary School Certificate.
2) Relaxation of age eligibility criteria of a candidate will not be permitted for under age.
3) Upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC, ST, BC and PWD candidates.
1.5 The candidates who wish to claim seats under CAP (Army), NCC, Persons with Disability (PWD) also need to fulfill the above eligibilitycriteria.
1.6 Candidates who want to claim reservations under Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category shall mention in the online application as applying under PWD category and have to appear for evaluation of their disability status before Medical Board to be constituted for the purpose by KNR University of Health Sciences as per the schedule to be notified by the University for eligibility under PWD status.
2. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus/Regulations available in the KNR UHS website www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in before filling the online application form for admission into BAMS, BHMS, BUMS & BNYS Courses for the academic year 2020-21.
3. The NEET UG 2020 qualified and eligible candidates as per the concerned regulations who desire to take admission into UG AYUSH Courses in Government and Private AYUSH Colleges in the state of Telangana shall apply online and upload all original certificates for determining the Merit position for Telangana State for Competent Authority quota seats in respective categories in the Website https://tsbahnu.tsche.in from 8.00 AM on 13-01-2021 to 8.00 PM on 20-01-2021 only. The online application can be filled through any computer with internet connection or Mobile with Data connection.
4. Registration Fee for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS & BNYS Courses:- The Registration fee Rs.2,500/-(Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC candidates and Rs.2,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates shall be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.
** ** Under any circumstances fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.
5. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course to verify for eligibility under local/non local category..
6. Procedure of filling online application and online payment for BAMS, BHMS,BUMS & BNYS Courses
1. Read the Notification, Prospectus/ Regulations carefully.
2. The registration fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking
3. The registration fee paid by the applicants is not refundable underany circumstances.
4. Visit website through Computer with Internet connection or Mobile with Data Connection to fill the application form.
5. Registration number sent to the registered mobile after entering the basic data should be noted for further use. The Registration number should be kept confidential and not to be disclosed to others.
6. The following Documents are required (PDF format):
(a) Admit card of NEET UG - 2020
(b) Rank card of NEET UG-2020
(c) SSC or equivalent examination containing the Date of Birth.
(d) Memorandum of marks of qualifying examination i.e., Intermediate or Equivalent examination.
(e) In respect of BUMS Course Memorandum of marks of qualifying examination i.e., Intermediate or Equivalent examination (URDU or Arabic/Persian as language).
(f) Pre-Tib examination Certificate if relevant.
(g) Transfer certificate (T.C)
(h) Study Certificate(s) from 6th class to Intermediate.
(i) Latest Permanent Caste certificate issued by the competent authority of Govt. of Telangana , Minority status certificate if applicable.
(j) Aadhar Card.
(k) In case of candidates studied in the institutions outside the state, residence certificate of the candidate or either parent issued by MRO/Tahasildar , state of Telangana/AP for a period of ten years ( Period to be specified with exact month and year) excluding the period of study/employment out-side the state.
(l) Employment certificate of parent (For Non-Local status).
(m) Special Category certificates ( NCC, CAP) if applicable.
(n) EWS Certificate for the Financial year 2019-20 issued after 1st April, 2020 for the year 2020-21 claiming reservation under EWS Categories issued by competent authority (Tahasildar) of State of Telangana.
(o) Candidates latest passport size photo
(p) Specimen signature of the candidate
7. Procedure for submission of filled-in online Application form and Original certificates for BAMS, BHMS BUMS & BNYS Courses at the time of admission for final verification:-
1. Online application form without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport size photo, without signature at declaration area, incomplete applications will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position in respective categories using NEET-UG-2020 rank.
2. The mere fact that the Merit position issued to the candidate does not imply that the candidature is accepted by the University and it does not mean that the entries made by candidate in the online application are accepted as true and correct.
3. Candidates may please note that the University will take up the verification of original certificates with regard to eligibility conditions i.e., NEET UG-2020 Rank, educational qualifications, local/non local area status, category etc., by the concerned department officials. If the information furnished by the candidate in the application is incorrect, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and further action that deemed fit will be taken.
4. Candidates eligibility for admission into UG AYUSH courses for the academic year 2020- 21 will be examined by the University only after verification of original certificates and final merit list is notified.
5. Online registration along with uploading of scanned original certificates will be done only once irrespective of the number of counselings. separate notification will be given for schedule of verification of original certificates. Therefore, the candidates should register and upload all the mandatory certificates without fail and check the university website for schedule of verification of original certificates.
6. Scrutiny of original certificates shall be done by the university and concerned department officials. After scrutiny of application and certificates final merit list will be released. Candidates are advised to refer to KNRUHS website for further details regarding schedule for verification of original certificates and exercising web options. No individual communication will be sent.
7. Admissions will be in accordance with the Orders issued from time to time by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Telangana, Government of India,CCIM /CCH , relevant Hon'ble Supreme court, High Court orders and university regulations with regard to Admission into AYUSH Courses shall apply.
8. This notification is for online registration for determining the State Merit position in respective categories using NEET-UG-2020 rank only for eligible candidates. The schedule verification of original certificates and for exercising web options for admission to UG AYUSH courses will be notified separately on university website. Candidates are advised to check the university website for notifications, counseling schedules, seat matrix and other details from time to time.
9. An in-eligible candidate obtaining merit position does not make the candidate eligible for admission..
10. Admission will be considered only for candidates, who have secured marks above cutoff score in NEET – UG – 2020 exam and based on the state merit order as the case may be.
11. After allotment candidate should download the allotment order, submit the printout of the filled-in online application form and original certificates along with (1) set of self attested copies to the Principal of allotted college at the time of joining for final verification by admissions committee of allotted college. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment order for admission will be cancelled.

Regulations for admission into BAMS / BHMS, BNYS and BUMS courses for the academic year 2020-21 under Competent Authority Quota

Regulations:

The following are the Regulations for admission into BAMS / BHMS / BNYS AND BUMS Courses in all the AYUSH Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS for the academic year 2020-21 under Competent Authority Quota seats i.e., the seats in Government AYUSH Colleges (after exclusion of 15% seats transferred to All India Quota and Government of India ) and Category 'A' seats in Private Unaided AYUSH Colleges affiliated to KNR University of Health Sciences, Warangal.

1.Fee structure will be as notified by the Government of Telangana.

2. Eligibility for admission into BAMS/ BHMS/ BNYS and BUMS:

a)The candidates who fulfil the following criteria shall apply for admission into BAMS / BHMS / BNYS and BUMS courses online for competent authority quota seats in colleges affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal.

b)The candidate should be an Indian National or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holder and should satisfy the Local or Non- local status in Telangana (Residence requirement) as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, 1974. Selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.Ms.No.170 HM&FW(E1)Dept.

c)Qualifications for admission into BAMS / BHMS / BNYS The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / and English.

• OC candidates including candidates seeking EWS reservation should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.

• BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.

• OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.

d) Qualifications for admission into BUMS course as per regulations of Central Council of Indian Medicine.

Admissions to Kamil-E-TIB-Wa-Jarahat course: A candidate seeking admission to main Kamil-E-Tib-Wa-Jarahat (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery – B.U.M.S.) Course must have passed.

i.Intermediate 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually for general Category and 40% marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward classes. OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.

and

ii. The candidate should have passed 10th/Intermediate with Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as a subject or clear the test of Urdu of 10th/Intermediate (wherever there is provision to conduct of such test) in the entrance examination conducted by the University or Board or Registered Society or Association authorized by the Government to conduct such examination

(or)

The Pre - Tib examination of one year duration

Note: Candidates possessing qualification of the University/Board or an institution outside the State should enclose a certificate of equivalence from Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination with subjects of Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana.

3. Eligibility conditions in respect of candidates whose domicile of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh

i. The candidate shall satisfy the Local / Non local status as per GO.No.646 Education (W1) department dated 10-07-1979 and Presidential order. The procedure indicated in the above G.O for selection of candidates as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Dept., dated 18-05-2009, G. O. Ms. No.170, HM&FW (E1) Dept. subsequent amendments and relevant Hon'ble High Court orders shall be followed

The Non local candidates are eligible for 15% unreserved seats only. The local candidates are also eligible for 15% unreserved seats along with 85% seats reserved for local area.

ii. The verification and registration fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date. Therefore candidates are advised to check eligibility conditions thoroughly before applying online for determining state merit position in respective categories for Competent Authorityseats.

iii. Reservation in favour of the local candidates

a.Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non- State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edn. (W1) Department,dt.10-7-1979.

b.State-wide COURSES (BUMS, BNYS):

Admission into State wide colleges shall be regulated as per the provisions in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 for State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-IV of GO (P) No. 646, Education (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.

iv. Local Area:

a.The part of the State comprising the Districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasham shall be regarded as the local area for the purposes of admission to the Andhra University, **(Nagarjuna University) and to any other education institution (other than a State-wide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.

b.The part of the State comprising the Districts of Adilabad, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahaboobnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Warangal shall be regarded as local area for the purposes of admission to the OsmaniaUniversity, ** (the Kakatiya University) and to any other educational institution (other than a Statewide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.

c.The part of the State comprising the Districts of Ananthapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittoor and Nellore shall be regarded as local area for the purposes of admission to Sri Venkateswara University and to any other educational institution (other than a State-wide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.

d.A Candidate for admission shall be regarded as local candidate in relation to a local area.

  • If he/she studied in an Educational Institution or Educational Institutions in such local area for a period of not less than 4 consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared inrelevant qualifying examination.

or

  • Where during the whole or any part of the 4 consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he/she has not studied in Educational Institutions, if he/she had resided in that local area for a period of not less than 4 years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination, in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared.

or

e.A candidate who is not regarded as a local candidate under sub-regulation (5.4.4) above in relation to any local area shall

  • If he/she has studied in educational institutions in the State for a period of not less than 7 consecutive academic years ending with academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination be regarded as local candidate in relation to:

A) Such local area where he/she has studied for the maximum period out of the said period of 7 years.

B) Where the period of his/her study in two or more local areas are equal, such local area where he/she has last studied in such equal periods

Or

  • If during the whole or any part of the seven consecutive academic years ending with academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared for relevant qualifying examination, he/she has not studied in the educational institution in any local area, but he/she has resided in the State during the whole of the said period of 7 years be regarded as a local candidate in relation to

A) Such local area where he/she has resided for the maximum period out of the said period of 7 years.

Or

B) Where the period of his/her residence in two or more local areas are equal, such local area where he/she has resided last in such equal periods.

N.B.: Relevant certificates must be uploaded along with the application in respect of their claim. In respect of proof of 10 years residence, the certificate should be obtained from the Revenue Authorities not below the rank of Mandal Revenue Officer/Tahsildar.

NOTE: Candidates from other states are not eligible for Competent Authority Quota

4.Online Applications:

i. The on-line application form for determining merit position in respective categories for Competent Authority quota seats using NEET UG – 2020 scores will be available on the website https://tsbahnu.tsche.in/ from 8 .00 AM on 13-01 -2021 upto 8 .00 PM. on 20-01 -2021

Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions

ii. The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required for through computer/mobile with data connection. The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection or mobile with data connection. The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates, Scanned Photo and Signature in the jpg/.gif format separately (as shown below) (step-1) and ready to enter his/her correct data and upload the necessary certificates, photo and signature after the payment of application fee through Online.

5. Registration Fee:

The registration fee is Rs. 2,500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC/BC categories and Rs.2,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST categories shall be paid online through Debit card/ Credit card or Net Banking.**.

**Registration fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.

The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course to verify for eligibility under local/non local category.

6. Counseling

a. Final merit list will be displayed on KNRUHS website after scrutiny of original certificates and application. Notification for exercising web options will be issued separately on KNRUHS website only. No individual communications will be sent. Candidates are informed to check the website regularly for notifications.

b. On-line application form without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport size photo, without signature at declaration area, incomplete applications will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position in respective categories using NEET– UG – 2020 Rank.

7. University fee : Candidates have to pay the University fee of Rs 8,000=00 by way of payment gate way and obtain the allotment letter.

8. Tuition Fee will be as notified by the Government of Telangana.

9. Discontinuation fee: Candidates cannot discontinue from the course after notification for final round of web-counseling/notification for last date of free exit or later. Candidates have to pay Bond amount of Rs. 1, 00,000/- ( Rupees One Lakh only) if they discontinue the course after notification of final round of counseling or later.

10. Closure of admissions: The admission shall be closed as per CCIM/CCH schedule. Any vacancy after closure of admission or that arises after closure of admission shall not be filled.
