KNRUHS notifies on mop up round for management quota PG medical admissions 2025, check complete details
Warangal: The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, has issued notifications for the Mop-Up phase of web-based counselling under Management Quota (MQ, MQ2 NRI and MQ3 categories) for admission into PG Medical Degree and Diploma courses for the academic year 2025-26.
The notification follows the recent lowering of the NEET PG 2025 cut-off percentile and is in continuation of earlier counselling notifications issued by the University.

The candidates whose names are notified in the final merit list for PG Medical admissions on the website of KNRUHS, Warangal on 12-02-2026 are eligible to exercise web-options online from computer with internet connection subject to following conditions:
1. The Candidates who were allotted seats in the previous phases of counseling under Management Quota and have not reported/discontinued the course after joining at the respective college are not eligible for exercising options.
2. Candidates who have not exercised web options in the first phase of counseling under Management Quota are also not eligible to exercise web options in accordance with the Government orders.
3. The candidates who were allotted PG seats in the previous phases of counseling under Management Quota and joined the course are eligible to exercise web options.
4. Candidates who are admitted under Competent Authority Quota in Mop up phase of counselling are also not eligible to exercise web options.
5. Candidates who are admitted in other states are hereby directed not to exercise web options as it amounts to seat blocking.
6. Candidates are hereby informed that the list of admitted/allotted candidates after Mop up phase of counselling shall be forwarded to MCC on 19-02-2026 (as notified by MCC) for exclusion from stray vacancy round conducted by MCC. Accordingly, candidates should exercise web options carefully to courses and colleges they are interested to join with awareness of this fact.
7. Candidates who are admitted under All India Quota up to Mop up phase of counselling as notified by MCC are not eligible to exercise web options.
8. MCC of DGHS will share the data of joined candidates upto Third Phase of counselling with all the participating states. Candidates who have joined upto Third Phase of counselling will be weeded out before processing of allotments in this phase of counselling.

All the eligible candidates whose names are displayed in the Final merit list for PG Medical Degree/ Diploma admissions can exercise from 04.00 PM on 12-02-2026 to 04.00 PM on 14-02-2026.
Candidates shall exercise web options for Post Graduate Medical seats as per their registration and eligibility for MQ-1, MQ-2 (NRI) categories, in order of their priority through website.
Allotment of seats will be done accordingly. Candidates are informed that they will be considered only to the category / categories to which they have registered.

UNIVERSITY FEE: Allotted Candidates have to pay University fee by way of payment gate-way online and download the allotment letter. Candidates who have already paid University fee in the previous phases need not pay again.
MQ1 Management Quota sub-category 1: Rs.49,600/-
MQ2 (NRI) & MQ3 (Institutional Quota): Rs.69,600/-
TUITION FEE: Tuition fee is to be paid at respective Medical colleges. The Tuition fee payable shall be as notified by Government of Telangana orders.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. The details of vacant seats available (seat matrix) in all Medical Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS are placed in the website http://knruhs.telangana.gov.in The candidates can exercise web options for PG Medical Degree/Diploma seats under KNRUHS through website.
2. Candidates can exercise web options for any PG seats they are interested to join irrespective of vacancies shown as vacancies may result due to sliding of candidates in this phase. Vacancies may also arise due to sliding of candidates from First & Second Phases of Management Quota to Mop-Up phase of Competent Authority Quota.
INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:
1) Eligible NEET-PG-2025 qualified Candidates as per final merit list for Management Quota can exercise web options for PG seats in all Medical colleges as per their interest and priority for MQ1 and MQ2/NRI categories (as per eligibility).
2) Candidates are advised to go through the Prospectus for the Regulations for PG courses of KNRUHS, available on website before exercising web options.
3) Candidates exercising web options for PG seats are informed that, there is no limit of choices (number) for exercising web-options, candidates can exercise options for any number of subjects and colleges the candidate is interested to join as per eligibility and registration. If they are not interested to join in any subject or college then they should not exercise options for the same.
4) Management Quota MQ-1 & MQ-2 (NRI) seats in Minority Medical Colleges will be allotted to Muslim Minority Candidates only. Muslim Minority Candidates are also eligible for Management Quota seats in other Medical Colleges.
5) Candidates have to exercise options for MQ1 and if eligible for MQ2 (NRI) in order of their priority for course and college. Allotments will be made according to the order of preference in the web options exercised by the candidate. Candidates have to exercise options very carefully as per their priority.
6) Candidates are informed that if they exercise web-options for a seat and allotted a seat as per their choice in the web- counseling and if they do not join the course at the allotted college, the admission will be cancelled automatically and the candidate will be considered as being part of seat blocking and candidate has to pay penalty of Rs. 50 lakhs and also debarred for 3 years for PG Medical admissions under KNRUHS to prevent seat blocking.
7) Candidates who were allotted seats in this phase of counselling are not eligible to exercise web-options in stray vacancy phase of counselling under Competent Authority Quota and Management Quota for the AY 2025-26.
8) Candidates are advised to exercise web options for PG seats in all courses and colleges in which they are interested to join irrespective of available seats shown in seat matrix, as vacancies will arise during counseling process due to sliding of candidates from allotted seats in previous phase of counseling to other seats as per their web options in the Mop up phase of counseling.
9) If a PG seat is allotted in this phase of counseling as per web options exercised by the candidate in this phase of counseling, the seat allotted in previous phase of counseling will be automatically cancelled and allotted to the other candidate. Therefore, the candidates are informed to exercise web options carefully for sliding with awareness of this fact.
10) Candidates can exercise web options through a computer having internet facility.
Don’t use mobiles and Tabs for exercising web options.
11) One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile at the time of saving web options. The password consists of SIX letter code with English capitals A to Z (for details read instructions to the candidates before giving options.
12) Candidates are instructed to take a print out of saved options. Candidates will receive SMS message on their registered mobile after allotment of seat, if allotted. Candidates are also directed to check their allotment status on portal/website without fail.
13) The selected candidates shall download the allotment order from website after payment of the University fee by gateway method by using Online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking), check their allotment and report to the Principal of allotted college on or before the date specified on the allotment order.
14) Candidates are hereby informed that final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the college of admission and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled and action will be initiated as per University Regulations.
15) Selected candidates have to report at the respective colleges before the last date for joining as specified in the allotment letter, submit all original certificates, relevant bonds and pay the tuition fee / college fee to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfill the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date the admission will be cancelled automatically and the candidate will not be permitted to exercise web options for subsequent round.
16) If the candidate slides to other college during Mop up phase of counseling, they have to get relieved from previous phase joined college, collect custodian certificate, fees and report to the allotted college before last date of joining. The original certificates shall be transferred to the allotted college after the closure of admissions.
17) Candidates allotted seat under NRI Quota should produce the relevant sponsorship letter from NRI relative in Original along with copy of passport/ Residence Proof/Bank Statement or pass book of sponsor for NRI Category at respective colleges.
18) Admitted candidates are not permitted to withdraw from the course after the last date of free exit. Original certificates will not be returned to the candidate, unless
the candidate discontinues the course and fulfills the conditions of the penalty clause as detailed above.
19) Allotment for vacant Institutional quota seats will be done after all the relevant sponsorship letters for Institutional quota are received by the University from the Medical Colleges.
20) The University fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
