KNRUHS Opens Window For Exercising Web Option of Special Stray Vacancy Round for PG Medical Admissions

Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has opened the window for exercising the web option for the special stray vacancy phase of counselling for PG Medical admissions under competent authority quota into affiliated medical colleges & NIMS. The seat matrix for the same has also been released.

All the eligible non-service candidates whose names are displayed in the provisional final merit list on the KNRUHS website who were not allotted any seats in the previous phases of counselling can exercise web till 3.00 pm on 12-01-2023. They can exercise web options for PG Medical Degree / Diploma Courses in all Medical Colleges affiliated with KNRUHS and NIMS through https://tspgmed.tsche.in as per vacancies and eligibility.

Candidates are advised to go through the prospectus of KNRUHS and NIMS and the Government orders on rules of PG admissions available on the website before exercising web options for the regulations. There is no limit of choices (number) for exercising web options; candidates can exercise web options for any number of subjects and colleges the candidate is interested in joining as per vacancies and eligibility.

One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile when saving web options. The password consists of SIX letter code with English capitals A to Z (for details, read instructions to the candidates before giving options.

Candidates should take a printout of saved options. They will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after the allotment of a seat if allotted. They should check their allotment status by logging on to the website without fail.

The selected candidates shall download the allotment letter from the website after payment of the University fee by payment gateway by using an online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking). They should check their allotment details and report to the Principal of the respective college on or before the last date specified on the allotment letter.

The candidates note that the allotment of seats will be made in accordance with the existing Government orders (notified on the KNRUHS website on 05-09-2022) and relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court and Hon'ble High Court orders. The final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled, and action may be initiated as per Government Orders and University Regulations.

Selected candidates must report at the respective colleges before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment letter, submit all original certificates and the relevant bonds and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the admission process. Suppose the candidate does not fulfil the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date. In that case, the admission will be cancelled automatically, and the penalty clause, as notified in GO Ms No.109 HM&FW(C1) Dept., Dated: 22.08.2022, shall be applicable.

Candidates must compulsorily join the allotted college in the assigned course without fail in this last phase of counselling. Failure to join the course will be considered part of seat blocking, and the University will initiate necessary legal action. Such candidates will be debarred for three years for admission into the Postgraduate Medical Degree /Diploma course in Telangana, besides payment of Rs.50,00,000-00 to KNRUHS for violation of admission Rules & Regulations.

Non-eligibility –

1. The candidates who were allotted PG seats in the previous phases of counselling and joined the course (CQ and MQ) are not eligible to exercise web options.

2. The candidates who were allotted seats in the previous phases of counselling and have not reported/discontinued the course (CQ) at the respective college are not eligible for exercising options.

3. Candidates who have not exercised web options in the previous phases of counselling (CQ) are also not eligible to exercise web options.

4. The candidates admitted in All India Quota Counseling as notified by MCC and Dr YSRUHS (Dr NTRUHS) counselings (CQ and MQ) are not eligible to exercise web options.

5. The candidates who have joined in any seat in All India Quota/Any State/Deemed Universities (Including Dr NTRUHS/YSRUHS, AP) counselling are not eligible for this phase of counselling. Suppose any candidate violates the University notices this and the same at any stage/a later date. In that case, the admission stands cancelled automatically, and the candidate is liable for punishment as per law.

University fee –

Allotted candidates must pay the University fee of Rs.29600 through an online payment gateway and download the allotment letter.

Tuition fee –

Tuition fee is to be paid at respective Medical colleges. The tuition fee payable as notified by the Government of Telangana in GO Ms No:20 HM& FW Dept.Dated:14.04.2020 (notified on the website) and interim orders of Hon'ble High Court of Telangana in WP.No.6799 of 2021.
